this is sooo hard to answer for me– i've always been a chemistry-over-fandom-ships kind of person, so I've had some weird ships over the course of time i've done rp.

my favourite overall was when i was in the pokemon rpc (on twitter lol), and i had a trainer black/wally ship that i adored. they were silly and goofy and i had a blast. hope that rp partner is doing ok, we haven't talked in a whole.

for lumi, though? i currently have a planned thoma/lumi ship that i've rly loved concepting for (ily @//scarletooyori), and i'd theoretically like to plot with a childe at some point! .

i had a different answer for this originally but while sifting through the memories i remember that i was in the thick of the onceler rp fandom (or at least on the sidelines: i wasn't involved directly but i saw A Lot and interacted with some onceler blogs myself) and i was in the gd depths of a community that was just a billion aus of the same character. while i don't knock the concept of au-character-rps (esp whole blogs surrounding that), it was a Weird Fucking Experience for a very young leo.

i dunno if it's exactly a 'trend' but i haven't seen that kind of massive wave of a community built entirely of The Same Character since then.

Hands on her hips, Lumine scrutinizes her brother with a keen and judgemental eye. Aether's expression and his avoidance of her gaze was enough proof for her, and she points an accusatory finger at him. "You didn't ask! It's stealing!"

She says this as if the two of them haven't been swapping clothes since they were literal children. But it's different, and Aether had caught her before she'd gotten too far in her clothing-hunt. "If you want a better wardrobe so bad, I'll take you thrifting– but at least let me wear my own clothes before you steal them out of the laundry!"

the look of guilt on his face probably tells lumine everything that she needs to know. aether letting out a small, sheepish laugh as he glances around the room. "what? no... i didn't steal your clothes..." he says, clearing his throat. he hopes that she doesn't go rummaging around his room, but the truth will be inevitable. okay, so maybe he had definitely taken a few of her t-shirts. it wasn't his fault his twin was the savvier one when it came to fashion-- or the fact they were the same size... he just had hoped she wouldn't have caught on so quickly.

"---also... 'steal' is such a strong word, lumi. borrowed.... is more like it."

The ruffling produces a small squeal– mostly just surprise at the sudden feeling, really– and Lumine squeezes her eyes shut briefly before looking at her brother.

And, after a moment of contemplation, a grin crosses her face and her hands shoot up to furiously ruffle his hair as well– albeit somewhat aggressively.

"Counterattack!"

A blink, and then a grin splits her face and she pumps her fists in front of her, eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Wait, seriously?! Yeah– let's do it!"
