hey here’s some post - game Tadashi facts for you guys for that entertainment.

when he heads back to his hometown, he’s more of an outcast than before but he’s never felt more home in being an outcast. He minds his own business, goes about his own plans and activities and his grades are always stellar. people are almost drawn to him because of his ability to be unswayed.

he’s a physical protector of the weak, he doesn’t stand for bullying or any of that shit in his single year at school. people don’t mess with him and yet at the same time they respect him. he definitely gets into a lot more fights.

He visits Tokyo constantly whenever a longer break is happening, even if his family doesn’t want him too.

When he graduated high school he goes into training to pursue a dream he gained while staying in Tokyo --- to become a cafe owner. Seeing Leblanc and cherishing the memories he made there Tadashi wants to pursue a similar career as Sojiro did.

When college is done and all that jazz is handled he definitely opens up a small cafe somewhere in the main city he truly grew up in selling coffee and any other things he picked up. 

The cafe is called Le Fantome and slight inspiration from the aesthetics of the phantom thieves can be found.

Tadashi has no real regards to his own being whether phyiscal or mental, combined with his reckless nature he doesn't care at all how hurt he is or how exhausted he is if they're in the Metaverse because it means that he's doing what he's always wanted to do : save people. And the more people they save the better he is doing. He doesn't care if all his stamina is drained or if he's got a broken bone or two. As long as his mind is still working to lead the P.Hantom Thieves. Then he will keep going. It will only really take the inclination of his teammates being exhausted or pushing him to get some rest ( i.e Morgana who I'm pretty sure can see the cracks in Tadashi's wall more than the others ) that he'll go about leaving the metaversre or something along those lines.

and i've said it before and i'll say it again. Tadashi is a heavy sleeper. Before being Joker and after. He enjoys the aspect of sleeping unless he has nightmares which could keep him up much longer than wanted.

The only real regard he has is to his emotinoal stability. Mroe inclined to have his fury and anger consume him Tadashi makes sure to constantly keep that in check. Over and over. Worried that if he lets it slip up for a second eh won't know what to do. Thankfully with the progress of the game and the more he learns and experiences and the loving of just anyone and encouragment from his friends. He learns that his anger shouldn't hold him back and yadda yadda you know the whole deal.

i’ve stated time and time before that Tadashi’s views of religion are complicated. they range from straight up disbelief to pure hatred if it did exist. he finds the concept of God or some higher being ridiculous but also at the same time if a higher being did exist he’d be disgusted with it. For allowing people to be hurt and for allowing injustice to strive. initially of course Tadashi doesn’t see his powers as a gift from God but more so a way to succeed where god has failed. he sees god as a dirty liar. a criminal. lowlife corrupted scum that is just as dirty as the adults they repent.

these feelings are reinforced of coruse in endgame where his hatred for god ( Holy Grail / Yaldaboath ) is on Shido level. playing with both the lives of Goro A-kechi and his own, taking away the will & freedom of the people for some twisted game, hurrting the Velvet Room attendents, setting his fate to ruin and more importantly hurting his friends tadashi sees any god and any form of it as a false omnipotence. a corrupted influence who placed itself on a throne and pretended to know what’s good for humanity. 

In the future I can see Tadashi even wearing anti-god type thigns. A necklace of the cross upside down? Yes. Especially since he’s just human Satanael of course.

some slight academic & body headcanons be here!

Tadashi is smart and has a quick mind for learning. Evident in the fact that in the game, Tadashi just picks up Shogi with ease and is stated by Hifumi numerous times to be rather good at it near the end of their confidant.  Not to mention he does baseball, fishing and numerous activities in Shibuya with ease even on a first try. It’s mostly due to his high proficiency & his incredible luck. 

Tadashi can pick things up from almost anywhere. Playing video games, reading, and watching movies. It increases stats in game and gives him knowledge of course. It’s probably why he’s so initially good at stealing through palaces.

By the way, in the future, this has to be a bigger better thought out post, but Tadashi has amazing luck. The game references it many times, especially in the Casino Palace. 

In terms of academic prowess before getting to Shibuya and Shujin Tadashi’s academic grades were above average never getting to the top percentage. Keeping himself low profile mainly at the request of his parents who were inclined on making sure that Tadashi got good grades ( but not too much of good grades out of worry he’ll be a target for other kids to bully him and for him to fight back or for him to become an asshole because of his grades ) they really wanted their kid to stay as average as possible. Get good enough grades to get a good job in their small town. Marry a wholesome woman. And live a nice and easy lifestyle.

When Tadashi gets to Shujin for a few exams he keeps the same record. Making sure to even purposefully mistake some questions to lower his grade. Mainly because it was normal and also because he doesn’t stand out. However, the further he goes and the more freedom he unlocks within himself and the more people he frees the more he decides to do what *he* wants. Before he knows it he’s at the top of the class without almost even trying. If ever asked all he’ll say is that he got a private tutor to help him study.

Now for his physical stuff. Takemi states that Tadashi’s not only rather average and bland in his medical history but also in his form. Making him the perfect test subject. And it’s definitely the truth. He’s rather mundane on the physical side.

That is until of course, he gets into the Metaverse. And not only does his personal eyesight begin to change because of his cognition but so does his body. Becoming more finely tuned and adding more muscle.  All clearly seen in his training activities. Like he can friggin lift himself to the ceiling that is mighty impressive. 

His stamina also greatly increases the more time he spends in the Metaverse but that’s obvious.

Tadashi was never a big book reader until he came to Shibuya. He did read quite a bit but it wasn’t as big as it is now. Now ( especially after discovering Jinbocho ) he always has a collection of books on him to whip out at any time.  Though his least favorite kind of books to read our magazines. He always picks them up in case they can show him something new about the large city, but reading them is always a pain. The book that probably set him off was The Great Thief a book he discovered in Shibuya.

anyways I'm here to give a small post on how the fame of the Phantom Thieves does get to Tadashi's head. Especially around the time of the Medjed defeat. He loves the popularity and the recognition they get for being heroes of justice! And more importantly the praise! The praise for his justice where it was never prasied before! He loves that people are waking up to the wrongs in the world and he loves that every day their approval raiting boosted!

To the point where he gets a bit blinded and can't see that Morgana is hurting or that the Okumura case seems a bit fishy. But when Morgana leaves & the Okumura case turns out to be a trap he wakes up and realizes that it's not what other people thinks of him that matters. All that matters is his justice & being true to himself and all that. It also ties in bits and bits to his anger issues. But that's all topics for another day!

Remember when I joked about a meta post dedicated to why Tadashi relays all of the past seven months to Sae during his interrogation? Well that wasn't a joke. Here it is.

I've said before that Tadashi is extremely observant on his own and the Third Eye Ability enhances it. From this observancy comes a level of memory that is extremely good. And what truly helps in his memory is recalling specific events in detail, either out in the open or in his head. To get back the memory of the Phantom Thieves' master plan Tadashi had to replay the past months to Sae in order to recall all of it. It's all he could think of as the drugs altered with his mind, to just say everything to her. To remember every little detail, every conversation. Which by the way while there must have been a tiny bit of embellishing, Tadashi's memory even while intoxicated must be extraordinary to remember full out conversations between he and his friends.

Another note is that Tadashi must have been telling Sae all of that as another key part of the overall goal. To get Sae to see his side. To win her over with emotions and tales of a bunch of kids who were only trying to do right and many a times pushed into situations where the world was against them. He had to get to a point where Sae's trust or more so intrigue in he and his justice would have sided her with him. But he also had to do this without saying names, he couldn't reveal any member of the Phantom Thieves not even Morgana. Take note that throughout the conversation it kind of looks like Morgana is rarely mentioned at all. Honestly I have to go into the entire plan later as a bigger post because boy howdy is it a doosy!

              Hey Tadashi! What are you doing on your phone so many times? If Tadashi isn't checking his messages he's on the Phan-site. Checking requests. The poll that Mishima places up ( it's always on screen the second it arrives in the game ) and seeing the public's response to the Phantom Thieves. He loves the attention. And he also loves to see who the Thieves next targets going to be in the ever expansive Metaverse.

Seeing as it's mothers day: would Joker like a family of his own one day? If not, is it due to his family's abandonment of him? If so, why?

              Tadashi's never really thought about his feelings on wanting a family while in the care of his parents. And once he seperates it's never really on his mind. Even when he gets into a relationship he's more focused on the present and the future of the world and the phantom thieves more than on having a family.

             It's probably only near the beginning of college where he decides that he would want a family and would want at least two. Because he had the joy of having Futaba as his surrogate sister in his life and he wouldn't want to deny the affection of a sibling away from another. But he would also use his family and the terrible families he's seen as an example of what not to do.

              As for why he would want one? It's really just the joy of taking care of another soul. And raising them the right way. Ad to bring a beautiful person into this world that will make the world an even better place.

despite being told to keep his head down and definitely following through to that advice ( especially since he is a Phantom Thief ), Tadashi’s desire to help the weak, trapped or suffering greatly outweighs that common sense. Evident numerous times in the confidants where his true identity will easily be revealed he charges into Mementos with 0 hesitations. He’s too kind and too angry at injustice to let it be. Especially since he promised himself too never let things be again.
