hmmmm thinking again how ellis struggles to take the rest of the world into account when thinking about he & the people he loves. thinking about how without the people he loves hanging in the balance, he would probably run from any world-ending threat. in da:o he keeps going for his sister & though he would never admit it astoria & sometimes maybe even morrigan. in bg3?? i think the idea that his loved ones are out there is enough to keep him going, but when he gets close i think it brings out That Dog in him. i think he would do anything to get back to them, regardless of the consequences inflicted upon the people in the way or maybe even around him depending on their relationship.

was thinking about this specifically because i have been trying to figure out his arc in bg3. I haven't talked it out w jay yet & this is subject to change, but ellis without his sister is a very volatile force. his love grounds him, her audacity humbles him. they both go a little nuts in da:o but they know each other well enough that they can ground each other. it helps, also, that astoria is there & though ellis & she aren't on the best of terms, they can still steal moments when no one is looking & try to reacquaint themselves with the people they are becoming while living in that shadow of who they thought they were.

in bg3??? ellis doesn't really have that support system that keeps him feeling human. he's actually super crazy rough on himself because he see's himself as less than the people around him. on a skill level, he is. a lot of folks got bumped down to level one but he would have started there to begin with because of his sheltered upbringing. all of his knowledge is in theory & he levels it up as he understands how to apply it if that makes sense?? but he doesn't start off with the knowledge & that makes him feel a bit smaller. but the thing is, when ellis feels small he tends to lash out & throw his defenses up

but without the people in front of him, real & alive, it's hard to understand who he is or where he's at beyond that. which I've talked about a little bit with others. he wants to be useful, he wants to learn, he wants to endure. but he's weak!! he's desperate!!! he feels like a cornered animal all of the time & relies on tricks & luck to get him out of trouble.

he thinks his family is out there somewhere but his mental status fluctuates intensely because everyone he knows is new & honestly better equipped to deal w whats going on. no one is ready for it, obviously, but he feels in his mind he's the least ready ( which may or may not be true but it is his perception of it ) & therefore the least valuable which really contrasts how he starts the journey

i think ellis beginning of act one thinks he's a badass. thinks he's gonna make it through the shadowlands & to highever & find/avenge his family. i think he's humbled as soon as he encounters any enemy & has to manage his body's natural responses to danger.

i think that leads down a path of low self-esteem that is intensified by a feeling of isolation / separation from the people he gives a fuck about ( his siblings, his dog, his parents who are Now Dead ). i think this shifts with time. i have a few bg3 verses with others where he makes friends, falls in love & i think having someone to pour his attention into helps with this but when left with his own thoughts it gets sooo messy. it'll be easier to figure out a default worldstate when i get home & am able to play bg3 as him but i am just thinking so hard rn abt how DIFFERENT it is going to be

i think he does bounce back & forth between i am so cool / i am so lame in his head it's so hard to explain at 4am ellis is a complicated dude

22. Who are their friends? Lovers?

Narrowing scope to 616.

Back in 'the day,' their friends were:

Frenchie: Marc's friend from the merc days. He flew MK's helicopter and lived at Grant Mansion with Marlene --

Marlene: the system's girlfriend who lived with them also at Grant Mansion. She was Steven's girlfriend at first and grew to love Marc and Jake as well. She was as vital to the MK operation as Frenchie, helping plans succeed and holding her own in fights.

Gena: Jake's bestie who ran the local diner. She and Crawley gave Jake plenty of tips for MK business. Her sons, Ricky and Ray, were also lookouts for MK. Ricky was KIA in the military. Ray took over flying the helicopter for Frenchie sometimes.

Crawley: our resident homeless man who pretty much took the cash Jake gave him and used it to buy tea bags.

Outside of occasional change ups (Gena moves to Houston for a while, Marlene and the system break up a ... few times. okay at least 8 times), the cast was the cast between real world 1975-2011. Because Marc's refusal to change, they all dipped in and out of the system's life and eventually moved on altogether. I'll spare you the revolving door.

Our current Midnight Mission Gang is:

Reese: Recent vampire who lives in the same neighborhood as the Mission. The assistant. Knower of tech and social media.

Soldier: Also recently turned vampire. Lives with his mom near the Mission as well. Former HYDRA goon.

Hunter's Moon/Dr. Badr: The other Fist of Khonshu. Traditional and devout where Marc is not. Can channel former Fists' memories and abilities.

Tigra/Greer Nelson: Marc's former/current (in comics and in some verses here) lover. They were on the West Coast Avengers together. She's a weretiger and has a son.

8-Ball/Jeff Hagees: super villain goof. formerly a defense contractor and missile propulsion engineer with a gambling addiction that ruined puts the former in 'formerly.'

22. ‘Type’ or ‘ideal’ partner?

Nice hair. Can kick Marc's ass. Can hold them accountable for their actions. A bunch of patience. A partner doesn't have to be romantically involved with all three of them but they can't shove the other two aside to be with the one. They like hands and competency. Doesn't have to be in fighting, though that really does help since their life is...like this. Accepting that they will not stop being MK.

13. Did they like school? Teachers? Schoolmates?

School was an exercise in endurance. They got through it. Marc didn't have any friends and was always in fights. Steven liked school well enough but he and Jake struggled with keeping a friend group. Teachers could be sympathetic while others weren't.

They could have gone to a Jewish day school but they were in the public school system with Jewish education on the side. Antisemetism came from Marc's peers as well. Amongst their Jewish peers, Marc was seen as a troublemaker despite being the rabbi's eldest.

29. What is your character’s weaknesses? Hubris? Pride? Controlling?

They can be angry and dense; they're also workaholics if Jake decides the work is more important than breaks.

Spector: An interesting mix of pride and self-loathing (egotistical?). Which leads to him being controlling.

Grant: Tfw Executives Defunctioning. His anxiety gets the best of him with Spector being a goddamn mess and he has to be responsible for this as well, which leads him to being an annoying yuppie fuck in other avenues of his life. At times he defaults to 'smile and wave' passivity.

Lockley: Can be too easy-going and casual. Not in a passive way. Deliberately carefree.

Spector and Lockley's weaknesses feel more apparent. Grant got stuck with a lot of thought spirals in volume 1 and I interpret some of the moments at Grant Mansion to be Grant and Spector being blurred.

You know what my favourite thing about Into the Spider Verse is?

Marvel have spent over a decade insisting that Peter Parker’s character has to be “Kept Young” to have any appeal, and have gone out of their way to enforce the idea of “Spider-man is about youth” in both comics and adapted media.

They had his marriage to Mary Jane undone via deal with Mephisto, because supposedly having him married made him unrelatable to the target audience but having him be a divorcee would age him too much, so this was somehow their best option despite... you know, the whole thing spitting in the face of everything Peter’s character is supposed to be about.

Pretty much the majority of Spider-man media since the Raimi movies ended has featured Peter as a High-schooler and a teenager. Every cartoon that’s been made since Spectacular has kept him in High-school, in Avengers EMH he was only about 18 at most, in the Amazing Spider-man movies he only graduated High School in the second movie and then that series got abruptly cut short, and the MCU has basically cemented him as “The teenaged Avengers fanboy” character, with an entire trilogy planned to focus on Peter in high school.

It’s really only in video games that we’ve gotten a version of Peter that isn’t a teenager in the last decade outside of the comics, with the comics themselves making a point to mentally regress Peter to the chagrin of many long-time fans.

Marvel have been insistent that “Young, teenaged Peter Parker” Should be the default and that it’s where the character is at his most iconic and appealing...

And then Spider-Verse gave us Peter B Parker, a version of Peter who’s in his late 30′s and going through a mid-life crisis, has stubble and a beer belly, is a mentor figure to a new teenaged superhero, and has a character arc that concludes with him deciding to reconcile with his ex-wife after deciding he wants to be a father even knowing the risks involved...

And everybody LOVES this version.

Nell - A Brief Guide

We’ll start with the two Marvel universes first, as those are the “simplest”.

MCU Nell (Current Age: 31)

MCU Nell is a nurse in the “Pro Bono” ER at Flushing general in Queens NY. She befriended May at a grief counseling group, and through her met Peter Parker, and shortly after that found out he was the up-and-coming superhero Spider-Man. Post Civil War, she met and befriended Tony Stark, who introduced her to Thor. She built up a relationship with Thor, starting to see each other just before Infinity War. She survived the Snap, but in the 5 years between Infinity War and Endgame, their relationship fell apart. Post Endgame she divides her time between her full time hospital job, her part time Avengers/Stark Industries/Government-ish position, her burgeoning relationship with Doctor Strange, and gaining grey hairs helping out young heroes.(Tag: MCU Nell)

Spider-Verse Nell (Current age: 36) 

Spider-Verse Nell is also a nurse, working generally in the hospital rather than in a specific wing. She knew Peter Parker, and had a similar relationship to him that she has with MCU Spider-Man. She met and dated Aaron for some time, which was how she met Miles. Aaron and Nell didn’t date for long, but remained good friends after that, and she saw Miles a few more times pre-film. Post-film, she offers Miles advice in the form of Spider-Man 1.0 anecdotes, and medical attention. There’s a running gag that she’s dating a superhero, but no one knows which one. Oh, also, she is the niece of Doctor Olivia Octavius. That’s not as important as you'd think it’d be, but still.  (Tag: Spiderverse Nell)

A Hat in Time:

AHIT “Canon” Nell (Age at “death”: 40) :

This Nell is technically a Prelude to her game self. They are the town apothecary, friendly with all and while reclusive, isn’t seen as weird. She’s divorced, and has been close with the royal family (Read: Vanessa) for well over a decade. She’s also friendly with the prince, and might be related to the florist (I never decided on that)  (Does not have specific tag, typically grouped under “Ahit Nell”, “Subconite Nell” and “Ghost Nell”)

There are two possible endings for “Canon” Nell: One where she is a ghost, and one where she is a subconite.

Subconite Nell: 

Subconite Nell is the most likely outcome, and occurs if Nell remains in Subcon when it freezes over. Subconite Nell remembers next to nothing about their past life, not even knowing that the handkerchief on their head was one they used in life. They do regular subconite things (They quite like being hung for some reason….. ) and they are the only subconite who is allowed alone in Snatcher’s lab. Their personality is quite the same to when they were alive though. Typically the default Nell for all other Post-canon AUs.(Tag: Subconite Nell)

Ghost Nell:

If Nell leaves for the coast just before the fall of Subcon, returns and is traumatically killed by Vanessa, they become a ghost much like Snatcher, but with a few notable differences. For one, They typically keep themselves in a more human shape, but at a far larger size than Snatcher normally uses. Their eyes and magic are cyan, though they don’t use it frequently. They are quite fond of Hat Kid, and the cusp of their arc confronts their mysterious (or not so mysterious now) death. They spend most of their time cultivating a field of flowers and herbs. “”””Coffee Shop AU”””” Nell (Current Age: 40) : 

The School nurse at the local Elementary, She’s jaded and has a somewhat nebulous past that most people don’t even know. She loves coffee, gardening, and listening to music. Very obviously a witch but no one seems to notice. She’s a side character in every sense, but has a good sense of humor about it (self aware). Her best friend, Daph, became obsessed with the local cryptid - The “Snatcher” and started just… sending her all of this merch. Her house looks like a Snatcher museum. She takes it in stride and quite frankly, it’s a running joke at this point

Other AUs: (Might be edited at a later date)

The Little Contractor ( @bittybattybunny​ ): Very similar to Coffee Shop AU, but instead of Daph buying the merch, she does it herself and partially does it to take the piss out of Ru. She babysits for Eclipse and Ru occasionally.

Pokemon (AHIT related): Runs a small, remote Pokemon center in the middle of a forest with a Chimecho as their main assistant. There is also a Blastoise that lives out of a pond near the center. This is mostly inspired by @ahatintimepieces​ Lawyer!Eevee AU

Victorian AU: The doctor of the village of Subcon. Very no nonsense,doesn’t appear very much until the final act.

♡   hello yes i am that binch who loves the multiverses plot so here i am with some of my ideas / points of portrayal for your perusal ...

♡   in the case that the multiverse breaks again,  and mj does travel to another verse,  my default would be that she is peter parker’s best friend,  and knew that he was spiderman.  now,  whether peter knows she knows he’s spiderman is a whole other thing altogether.

♡   since i am working within the webb-verse,  i don’t think mj has any intention to pursue peter romantically.  i definitely think she flirted in the beginning,  and she has a massive crush,  and i will be writing subtle hints of an unrequited love on her part,  but she would’ve known that peter struggles with gwen’s death,  even if he doesn’t say,  and she’s observant enough to not want to upset the balance of that since they’re good friends.  ( this is also to respect majority of tasm peter’s portrayal and the character’s grief. )

♡   with that said,  i still think it’s a good conversation to have with other mj’s or peter’s. to discuss the limits of love, or lack thereof.  the loyalty of it.  the sweetness in loving in spite of everything, right?  and how tough it would be, during the most vulnerable moments.

♡   mary jane is a curious people person in the sense that, oh? there are other mjs in this world? she’s gonna go straight ahead and meet them,  no question.  she would also be so supportive,  so genuine in her excitement,  and she understands nothing about the multiverse but, “oh my god oh my god peter!!! i’m already a star in this universe!!!” or “oh!!! i got into MIT in here?? that’s so amazing!!! you’re so smart, pequeña, i’m so happy for you!!”

♡   with that said, i’d like to think she picks up social changes in the multiverses much faster?  so like, for example,  mj would’ve known who the avengers are in the mcu quite quickly since she likes talking with people right? and she does ask the right questions pertaining to the environmental changes.

♡   hmm..... gotta say my truth: i don’t think mj will be all that helpful in being an active participant to help save the universe,  if the multiverse did happen in terms of the world’s gonna end etc.  information gathering? yeah she can be super fast and efficient with that.  she can do even a bit of espionage if she has to.  but mj can’t intellectually contribute academic-wise or technologically-wise,  so she tends to stay back and chill until it’s time to return home.

We're three days from the Loki finale and I’m back to spout more meta and theories about episodes 5 & 6! It’s a long one (again.)

I really enjoyed episode five. People have complained that they felt it didn't do much to move the show forward, but one of the things I've loved most about this show is the time it takes to sit with the characters and learn about their backstory, their feelings. (I'm always a little bugged when critics say that an episode hasn't done enough to move the plot forward, because without adequate character development, why should I care about the plot?) I thought the pacing of it was really well balanced.

….and I have never been so nervous for a finale in my entire life. There’s a lot of reasons.

The first is just the fact that I’ve been waiting for this show for a whole year, and the anticipation and excitement of it literally helped get me through the pandemic--so when those final end credits roll I’m going to be a whole mess no matter what happens. (I really hope the rumors floating around about season two are accurate) I also just feel like it’s somewhat inevitable that this is our final farewell to Tom’s Loki, and like—I’ll never be ready, but especially right now, amidst all the rampant controversy around this show, I’m just not ready to deal with that. I have a *small* modicum of hope that this won't be the case, but it feels unlikely. Anyway, guess I’ll die.

I really want this show to stick the landing, so to say. I loved the last episode, but a lot of the response has been that it felt like a lull in the plot. I want this show to end in a satisfying bang so it can get the credit it deserves.

Also I’m a whole hypocrite eating my words from last week—I’m fully on-board with Loki/Sylvie now (not that I was ever really against it)--I’m not sure why I’m surprised. They’re so adorable and wholesome, and I’m in love with seeing Loki in love. It’s so precious. (Just as a PSA, if you’re not into them that’s chill, and you’re allowed to dislike a ship without trying to justify your opinion by labeling shippers as morally problematic. Selfcest isn’t a real thing, therefore there isn’t a moral high ground to stand on here. Okay? Okay.) Wherever it ultimately leads, their relationship is still a really sweet exploration of them both growing and learning how to love themselves and trust others. Also, them cuddling under a tablecloth is the cutest shit I’ve ever seen with my two eyes.

MY THEORIES:

I love Sylvie so much, SO MUCH — and she is 100% going to stab Loki in the back by the end of the next episode. I don’t think the betrayal is going to stick, and by the end they’ll both be on the same page again, but the conversations on trust have been way too one-sided for my comfort. If nothing else she's going to seriously consider it. Here’s one way I can see that going. Spoiler alert: it hurts.

Sylvie betrays Loki at one point—and we see Loki’s growth and arc come full circle as, even after being betrayed by the person he hinged his entire development around, he still believes in doing the right thing, in saving her regardless. It ends in a heart-wrenching self-sacrifice of some kind, and his actions serve as the catalyst for her full development as well. We keep seeing different versions of Loki die for their ‘glorious purpose’, just like how Classic Loki shouts the phrase as he was consumed by Aloith (RIP King, I love you).

Loki has already called Sylvie his glorious purpose (or inferred it). There’s been backlash around him saying that, but the way I see it, it’s less “I’m obsessed with this girl she’s my purpose now” and more “I believe that she’s the best version of us and I’m going to make it my purpose to help her succeed and be what the rest of us aren’t”. That’s why seeing all the other variant Loki’s at their worst in the Loki clubhouse (? what do I call this lol) only fuels him more to find her. I think about what Mobius told him: “You exist to cause pain and suffering and death, all so others can achieve the best versions of themselves”. I don’t think Loki truly believes he can be the best version of Loki — I think he saw Sylvie and thought, "it's her". He’s decided he’s going to help her achieve the best version of herself, but he'll do it giving her love and trust and devotion, rather than through betrayal, pain and suffering. He’s re-writing his pre-determined role, in his own small way. I’m so proud of him.

So who’s behind it all and what’s truly going on here? (This isn’t really one theory, more like a string of possibilities and I don’t really know how they’d fit together.)

I still think it’s another version of Loki. And if it is, I can’t help but appreciate the connections between his position dictating the end of time in the show in relation to Loki’s role in the Norse myths, where he’s the catalyst for the destruction of all things. It feels relevant, considering the whole idea that ‘the end of time hasn’t been written yet’ has come up twice now. That would be a fascinating tie-in to the mythology. (Also—Alioth looks like a giant dog. And Fenrir’s role in Ragnarok was devouring the world—I realize this is a reach but am I the only person seeing this connection?) The thing I really can’t predict is the motivation. What would cause a Loki to want to prevent Loki’s from changing? Was there something that happened in the sacred timeline this Loki is trying to preserve? (I also like the idea of us maybe seeing another version of Sylvie behind it all, but I’m just going to leave that rabbit hole alone. )

But here’s the theory I can’t stop thinking about. There’s a theory floating around tik tok (by user twelvepercentcredit) saying the ‘castle’ we see beyond Alioth looks like a place called the House of Ideas, something that appeared in a (discontinued?) Loki comic. Here’s the wiki page on it. Just looking at the imagery of this compared to the location we’re seeing in the trailers, it’s too similar to be a coincidence. The huge bookshelves, the towering ceilings.

Here’s a description from the wiki:

“The House of Ideas is also home to a library which archives the exploits of every hero who has ever existed in the form of books, written unconsciously by the collective minds of their believers. This collection is curated by Now and Then, two of the children of Eternity. Now and Then routinely seek out heroes to bring into the House of Ideas to bargain with them and give their collections more pages, therefore more time for adventures and exploits. “

And later on the page on how Loki ties in:

“Heeding the desire in Loki's heart to do more with his life, Now and Then approached Loki and brought him to the House of Ideas,[5] where they struck up with him the deal to give more pages to his collection of exploits, rewriting the Books of Loki with a hero's stories in exchange for an eventual hero's death.”

Are they gonna play with the exact happenings of this? I don't know, but it sounds pretty cool!

It would be gutsy to go this route with the show given how meta it is, but I love the idea of it. Would they put characters that embody the abstract ideas of “Eternity” “Now & Then” into the show in the last episode? I’m not sure. Something I could see as a possibility though is an alternate version of Loki having overthrown whoever was previously guarding the timeline, and Loki and Sylvie will have to take them down in turn, thus ‘releasing’ the multiverse to its default, chaotic state.

What if our Loki’s ultimate destiny, ultimate Glorious Purpose, is to release the timelines--restoring all the variants back to their original timelines--and remain in this place for eternity, guarding the timeline and ensuring the multiverse is allowed to exist in its natural state? It seems a pretty fitting role for the God of Chaos. It would also explain why whoever’s behind the TVA would be so desperate to eliminate all variant Loki, if that was his ultimate destiny.

It would be an effective way to remove Hiddleston’s Loki from the movie-verse without killing him, AND place both Sylvie and any other Loki variants back in the the main timeline for use in future films—which we know has to happen somehow, because Young Avengers is definitely happening, and Kid Loki has got to get out of the void somehow.

And yea, this outcome would hurt like a bitch. Because even though that would truly be a lovely glorious purpose for our Loki, he’d be alone. And the whole point of this show is that he doesn’t have to be alone! It would be a very poetic sacrifice for him to take on the burden of watching over the timelines alone for all eternity so that his other variants could be the best versions of themselves, but I really just want him to be happy. I will be crying my eyes out if this happens. I’ll be proud but I won’t be okay.

And this all is probably speculative nonsense and could go off in an entirely different direction. Who knows. All in all, I just really want to see Loki fully believe in himself and his ability, to truly absorb what he said about being stronger than he realizes, and to take control of his destiny.

WHAT I WANT (NEED) FROM EPISODE 6:

Let Hunter B-15 and Mobius team up to burn the place to the ground. She was nerfed in the time-keeper fight, I want to see B-15 kick some ass.

I kind of want Ravonna to escape and be a character that carries over into the films for her tie-ins with Kang? I want to see more of her.

Give Loki a new badass costume. I’m begging. If he’s gonna go down, he deserves to go down in something other than khakis.

And then I want to see him and Sylvie fighting side by side in matching outfits.

UNKNOWN DATE, 1913:  joe and sarah immigrate to brooklyn, new york city to live the american dream. JULY 28TH, 1914:  the great war (world war one) begins. this is a private and semi-selective writing blog for the second sister / trilla suduri of star wars jedi: fallen order.

i am working on a prequels verse!     i’m just lazy and slow.     i have a modern verse [which i’ll detail in a post soon] and a cyberpunk/futuristic verse,  which again, will be detailed later.

i’m also just lazy & slow in general.     please understand my replies will take a while sometimes.     however,  i fully admit that i do prioritize replies to people i talk to regularly & have plotted with.     i simply find it easier & as trilla can be fickle,  it helps my writing.     please feel free to come and throw yourself at me so we can plot!

i will not interact with any kylo ren or general hux blogs.     full stop end of story.

i default to a non-canon verse in which trilla  survived  vader’s attack & escaped.     as the second sister,  she is declared and assumed dead.     she was however,  left scarred & alone,  taking an escape pod from nur during the ensuing chaos & eventually heading to the planet, arkanis. 

the main point of scarring occurs across her back,  connecting from her left upper arm near the shoulder joint and crossing diagonally across her back.     the heat from the lava beneath the flooring left the right side of her face scarred in the cheek & jawbone area.     however,  due to her helmet as an inquisitor rarely ever being removed,  her face is not publicly known.     darth vader,  the grand inquisitor,  cal kestis and cere junda being the only living people knowing her face. 

she currently lives on alderaan;  under the alias of eva and working dealing junk in a small store.     the second sister is considered to be dead & trilla suduri was considered to have a long time ago.

>    the final moments of ‘the second sister’, she changes sides and defects [avenge us, to the padawan’s like her & her genuine look of defeat after cal bests her].     she considers herself  grey  now, neither jedi or sith.     she is simply grey & one with the force.

i will elaborate later on trilla’s force abilities later but please understand: she is an exceptionally powerful force-user.     she trained as a padawan for several years before eventually being captured & tortured.     she trained under the hand of darth vader,  both in the force & as a duelist.     she rose to the rank of second sister for a reason.     but --   since her break from the dark side & the inquisition,  she loses power.     purposely cutting off her own abilities of anything self-deemed  too dark,  she is signifigantly weaker but regains some light-side abilities she once abanonded.

when referring to her:  anything pre-order 66,  she is trilla suduri.     post-order 66 and pre-defection,  she is the second sister only.     as the second sister,  she is known & feared in the galaxy.     her outfit,  markings & voice are recognizable as the second sister.     after defection,  she is eva;  to all those who do not previously know her.     out of character,  i usually refer to her as trilla as a general overview but occasionally as the second sister when specifically talking about her time in the inquisition.

main:  canon divergent post-the winter soldier.  not endgame compliant.  includes director of shield and gotg verses. director of shield:  post-tws - shield revamps with tony as director.  lead up to civil war. gotg:  post-civil war tony takes off to space for a while, has adventures, hooks up with the gotg. civil war au:  tony refuses to sign and the avengers go to ground to fight a secret war against the accords.

CANON AU / AU VERSES

616 fallout 4 companion:  default has maccready and steve pulling him out of stasis after a rescue mission gone wrong before the war.  railroad heavy.  traveling handyman.  full of annoying we can do it attitude. mcu fallout 4 companion:  the arc reactor’s kept him alive and he’s been rebuilding new york bit by bit.  follows the prydwen into the commonwealth. mcu courier six:  kept in stasis in a vault until the first battle of hoover dam.  odd jobs around the mojave.  gets shot in the head in goodsprings.  the iron mailman. 616 vault resident:  fallout 76-based.  funny how tony got talked into a tour of vault 76 on the day the bombs fell, right?  almost like vault-tec knew they were coming.  responder.  fire breather. skyrim:  the last living dwemer on nirn.  tinkerer.  smartass.  loves to pester the college and calcelmo.  great for tours through dwemer ruins.  gets confused for an oversized bosmer a lot.  will let you believe it.  part of the formation of an alternative choice to the companions who seeks to do good for the sake of it.  not a typical specimen of a dwemer. eso:  breton dwemer-obsessed scholar trying to stay out of the war.  fails at that.  also a vampire! no powers:  tony’s just a mechanic living paycheck to paycheck.  all those brains and none of the opportunities.

Verses Update

VERSES:

I will entertain any AU idea. I do not watch a lot of TV so some shows I might just not know enough about, but I’m willing to consider it.

Show Canon:  Please note - Lastxdragon is an ASoIaF book-based Daenerys Stormborn portrayal. The books are the only Canon material source I acknowledge for Daenerys. As such, there are some deviations from the show material that come into play in my “CANON verse” for her.  

*I’ll work with you on some things, but this list is non-negotiable.*

1. Viserion, Rhaegal and Drogon are all still alive. Viserion was almost fatally injured by the NK, but survived and has been on Dragonstone recovering.

2. Only half her armies were lost in the NK Battle. She continues to have a combined army of 50,000. Of that number, 5,000 took serious injury and were sent ahead by ship to Dragonstone to recover. 3. Post NK Battle, experiencing the betrayals and gaslighting in Winterfell after sacrificing everything for them, Daenerys has an epiphany. Her ‘destiny’ had been to save Westeros and she had, not in the way she’d thought, but by stopping the Night King. She dismisses Tyrion and Varys.  

4. Her fleet takes her armies to Dragonstone, bypassing King’s Landing, to collect the rest of her people, then they set off for Meereen where Daenerys armies free the remaining slaves in Essos and new trades/councils are set up. Above all, Daenerys is a rescuer. Volantis is taken over and Daenerys recreates Valyria (minus the slavery), finding new dragon eggs and hatching them. 5. Retiring - Dany takes her closest people and dragons to an island off YiTi.

Specific Characters:

If your character died in that joke of a TV show, they aren’t dead in Daenerys’ canon verse.

Jon Snow - Daenerys was only ever friendly. Any potential romance has to come from chemistry.  

Canon Future: Dany wants to make changes to Westeros and Essos, primarily ending all slavery, making women equal to men (much like Dorne), etc. Will default to starting after the battle for the dawn (i.e., Night King is dead) and she has taken the Iron Throne/or newly arrived to Dragonstone unless otherwise plotted.

Westeros +10,000 years: Society is beyond modern life. Flying cars, high tech, very peaceful, war is unknown. They’ve forgotten the myths so when the dead begin rising in the far North (a nuclear wasteland since the last NK was only destroyed after nearly losing everyone), the scientists believe the only way to combat the NK is to clone someone from legend with Valyrian blood/magic. Daenerys (and Drogon) is ‘resurrected’ into this world to save them.

Immortal: After killing the Night King, his immortality magic was absorbed by her blood and Daenerys doesn’t age or die. The Dothraki remain with her, as do her dragons, but she takes the Unsullied and Missandei back to Essos where they continue to free slaves, finally taking over Volantis and recreating Valyria. More dragon eggs are found and hatched.

There must always be a Night King: After killing the Night King, the Children’s curse transfers to Daenerys and she must control the dead so they do not hurt anyone. The Dothraki remain with her, as do her dragons, but she sends the Unsullied and Missandei back to Essos where they continue to free slaves.  

NON-WESTEROS Verses:

Unless otherwise noted, Daenerys is CEO of Targaryen Enterprises, a very successful, high-tech industry leader. Her family died in a plane crash that was sabotage orchestrated by her cousin, Robert Baratheon.

Modern: Her bodyguards are Drogon, Viserion, and Rhaegal - elite security. Daenerys has a gift for tech, programming and design. She’s very dedicated to protecting the company, while doing a lot of outreach.This verse is best suited for superhero, bodyguard, or guardian angel scenarios.

Rockstar: After losing her family, she took Rhaegar’s place in the mega rock band, the Red Dragons, as their bassist and backup singer. Missandei runs the company while Dany writes music and tours with the band. She’s VERY wild in this verse, drinks too much, drives fast cars, skydives - Dany’s on a path of self-destruction and hard to get emotionally close to.

MARVEL: Daenerys is an Inhuman (fire-based powers) from a reality where she’s been host to the Aether for 5 years. In her reality, the Aether chose her, Dark World never happened, Thanos never got the Aether - he was stopped by the Avengers + Dr. Strange/Dany. When Thanos wins in our reality, the effect on other realities rippleds and Dany feels it. She’s sent to this reality to find out what happened. She cannot ‘undo’ what Thanos’ Aether has done*, but she will help the Avengers defeat him. (*It’s like an etch-a-sketch. Our reality was a very specific scribble. Thanos shook the pad. Now our reality is a very different scribble. Daenerys didn’t know what that first scribble was - hence, she can’t use her Aether to remake it.)

Superhero: The grief of losing her brother forced something dark and dangerous up. More precisely, Dany can generate fire from herself, control any existing fire sources, and shield herself. What Dany can’t control are her Visions (future, past, alternate timelines).

The Walking Dead (TWD): Daenerys is the only survivor of her family. Aerys Targaryen ran a massive tech company and got into a survivalist lifestyle after a series of hostile takeover attempts raised his paranoia to phobic levels, building an off-the-grid cabin in the mountains of Colorado. While in the sprawling city, the family was overrun and killed by Walkers. After years living alone, Dany is making her way across the country to Pensacola to get to the family yacht. She’s proficient with a bow and wary of ‘communities’.

Witch: As a witch, Dany comes from a powerful family in the Sabrina universe (a different coven/city) and gets her powers from Satan. Her powers are based in fire and blood. Will entertain AHS: Apocalypse crossovers where Dany is sent by Satan to help Michael.

Angel/Fallen Angel/Guardian Angel/Vampire: These versions of Daenerys do not have a timeline or particular fandom.

Altered Carbon: Daenerys is a forgotten Envoy, one of the first three and to join Quellcrist Falconer in the initial stages of Quell’s crusade, before the full concept of training had been realized. The youngest member of a ruling Protectorate family, Dany went into hiding with Quell to get away from her father’s abuse and madness. There she learned the basic Envoy newborn concepts and trained until being sent back to her family under deep cover, reporting back to Quell. As such, only Quellcrist knew of Daenerys’ true loyalty, a secret that died with the Envoy leader. After a malfunction in the stream transfer claimed her family, Daenerys continued to affect changes from her position as a top Meth. When Laurens Bancroft brags of having the ‘last Envoy’, Daenerys is stunned to learn she’s not alone, but also cautious, reaching out to Takeshi.

Pacific Rim: Dany is a Jaeger pilot. Very mechanically adept.  

Harry Potter: Daenerys graduated from Hogwarts (and had defended it during the war). She was a Gryffindor, but her family had been split, Slytherin and Gryffindor, until their deaths at the hands of Death Eaters. She has an affinity with dangerous animals and specialized in their care, earning a place as a junior Dragon Keeper. Willing to adjust to any HP timeline.

Star Wars: Daenerys is a strong force sensitive. Her parents and oldest brother died when she was an infant, leaving Dany in the care of her abusive brother who raised her with little outside interaction. When she was 16, he died in a mining accident. Dany is good with machines/able to fix anything. From a young age, she heard the thoughts of others. She lives in a cave on Tatooine and makes a meager living repairing heavy, industrial machinery. She has a beaten up speeder and a blaster, but her instinct is to flee if she can.

(Sith: At age  5, her brother sold Dany to a Sith monk of the Order of Revan who raised her in the ways of the Darkside. She is deadly with a lightsaber and strong in the Force, twisting minds to her purpose.*WARNING: Dany is VERY dark in this verse. Sadistic, violent, malicious.)
