❛ you look like you've got something to say. ❜ || @mxdnxghtrxn / Daenerys
Aemond’s gaze met Daenerys’ with a sharp intensity, the flicker of the candlelight casting shadows across his angular features. He studied her for a moment, weighing his words carefully, the tension between them thick in the air. “I do,” he finally admitted, his voice steady but laced with something deeper, something almost hesitant. He took a step closer, his eyes never leaving hers. “You bear a resemblance to that of the Targaryen line yet your face is unknown to me” He replied before his gaze returned to the book before him as if there was nothing else he wished to say.

❛you look like you've got something to say. ❜ || @beautifulghcstx / Rhaenyra
Aemond found Rhaenyra standing alone on the balcony, the night air cool against their skin as the distant sounds of the feast below drifted up to them. He watched her for a moment, the flicker of light casting shadows across her face, revealing a mixture of emotions he couldn’t quite place. Stepping closer, at her words of course she’d known he’d been there. “What makes you say that Sister?” He remarked letting his hands grip the railing and looking over the moonlight lightening up the view the hotel balcony offered.

❛ i don’t have time for distractions right now. ❜ || @trveenough / Lucerys
Aemond found solace within the hotel’s library; it seemed to hold texts and scrolls from everywhere. It piqued his curiosity as well as his apprehension. Being here was something he couldn’t even explain how he ended up here, only that he’d been somewhat free without the burden of tending to his elder brother or being forced to use his vast knowledge of warfare. He’d noticed a text he had been wishing to read missing from the shelves when he went to look for another. He noticed a rather familiar face, one that stood out so loudly in his mind so many years ago filled with bullying and cruelty. “Is that what I am Nephew?” He moved to take the opposite seat from the other, his one eye turning its gaze upon the other wondering just what the little strong prince was doing in his sanctuary at this time. “You have a book I wish to read.”

❛ thought you’d be lighter without all that blood. ❜ || @lawlesslvnds / Jacaerys
Aemond’s jaw tightened as Jacaerys’ words cut through the silence, sharp and mocking. He turned slowly, the corners of his mouth curling into a smirk that didn’t quite reach his eye. “Funny thing about blood” he replied, his voice cold and edged with a dark amusement. He stepped closer, as he wasn't some helpless little child anymore. “You can wash it off your hands, change your clothes, but the weight of it? That sticks with you.” he replied looking at his young nephew for a moment “Is that how my darling sister taught you to say hello to your elders? We must work on your Manners…it’s important…to have a good Strong base when you might inherit the throne one day Nephew.”

Aemond loved his mother, there was no denying that he’d been loyal to his family since the moment he arrived in this world yet there were times he felt more like a shoulder to cry on than an actual son when it came to his mother's woes. “I’m not sure, Sister seems to think I’ve done something wrong and I’ve noticed you’ve reinstituted that age-old friendship” he mused his eye turning to stare at his mother for a moment “It’s an interesting life…one I have very little complaint about, I’m able to pave my path here…” He replied before turning away from her. “How are you finding things here?” @lawlesslvnds
❛ so, what do i owe this pleasure? ❜ -alicent/aemond @brokenbeauties
" a visit from your mother. do you have to have done something in order to earn those, now ? " alicent wondered aloud. things back in king's landing had been... less than perfect to say the least, but she was hoping that, perhaps here, things could be different. " you are more well versed in things here than i am, i simply wondered how you are finding it. "

Aemond leaned back slightly in his chair, studying Daeron for a moment before speaking. “Of course, you can visit, brother,” he replied, his tone measured but not unkind. “It’s just… unusual to have someone come to me without a reason, especially in a place like this.” This modern world the hotel had to offer had been something of an escape from the realities of life being born a second son within the royal family. “I’m doing better than most who’ve stumbled their way here..” He paused for a moment “How about you brother, how are you finding your new home?” @mxdnxghtrxn
❛So, what do i owe this pleasure?❜ - Aemond to Daeron ( @brokenbeauties )
"Can't I come and visit my brother?" Daeron asked as he took a seat in front of Aemond. Life in this place had been weird at first, there was a lot of getting used to, but Daeron found himself getting familiar with the modern world rather quickly. He wondered how it was for Aemond, so he was here, checking on him. "I wanted to know how you were doing. We're family after all."

Aemond’s eye narrowed as he took in Lucerys’ irritation, the younger boy’s defiance sparking something dark and simmering within him. He leaned forward, his presence imposing even in the quiet of the library. "Still as insolent as ever, I see," Aemond replied, his tone a low, dangerous murmur. “It’s strange to find you in here nephew, this was never your place back home.” he paused for a moment, a rather cruel smirk appearing on his lips before he replied once again. "But it doesn't matter. I have patience. I can wait… and watch as you fumble through what you cannot possibly understand." @trveenough
Lucerys had been immersed in the pages of the tome sprawled before him, only making note of his Uncle's presence once he had drawn close. Glancing up from the pages, his finger marked the spot where he had paused, silently hoping that the intrusion would be brief. "It is when you breathe so heavily." his voice edged with irritation as Aemond took a seat opposite him, confirming that this conversation would stretch on longer than he desired. If the Gods had any mercy, they might summon Jace to the library at that very moment to spare him. "Then you may wait until I am done with it." @brokenbeauties

Aemond had to admit his elder sister was an interesting person, never once did she fit the proper mold of a true princess and maybe that’s why their father seemed to deem her next in line for the throne. She held all of their father's love while they were just children meant for someone else’s political gain; the very idea was born to divide them from the beginning that much was certain. “Mhm,” he ignored her words before allowing a smirk to grace his lips “Remorse for what dear sister? A foul act? The only foul act committed here is the eye your darling strong son took from me when I claimed my birthright. But then again so much like our father, you are playing favorites and only using facts that feed your hatred of us.” @beautifulghcstx
Rhaenyra stiffened as Aemond stepped close to her, turning her head so she would not have to look into his face. A brief impulse tempted her — if she just grabbed him by his skinny waist and threw him over the balcony railing, who could blame her? After what he had done? But she feared Alicent would be perturbed by her actions, so she kept her hands to herself. “Because you should,” she said flatly. “But remorse is not familiar to you, I would suspect. One must have a conscience in order to feel remorse. You must have none, for you to stand there and speak to me as if you have not committed one of the most foul acts a man can perpetrate in this life.” @brokenbeauties

Aemond’s gaze narrowed slightly as he studied the woman before him, her silver hair and violet eyes unmistakably marking her as one of his own. The confirmation of her identity sent a jolt through him, though he kept his expression guarded, as always. “Daenerys Targaryen,” he repeated, the name unfamiliar to him based on all the Targaryen he’d read within the history books marking her as someone who followed him in the years to come. “I am Aemond Targaryen,” he replied, his voice steady, though his mind was anything but. “The histories I know mention no Daenerys, and yet here you stand, a dragon of my blood.” He paused for a moment, it was possible she may know of him if he didn’t know her. “Do you know me?” @mxdnxghtrxn
Daenerys had the same thought about the other, he held a striking resemblance not only to herself but to her brother Viserys. He had the classic Targaryen look and when he mentioned the name to her, there was not a doubt in her mind that they were somehow related. Could that really be possible? "That is because I am one." Daenerys told him, titling her head to the side. "My name is Daenerys Targaryen. May I ask what your name is?" She knew the names of her ancestors, most of which Viserys had told her about whenever he would tell her stories of their family, she wondered if she would recognize his name.
