Ayyy and finally, in the last long but well worth it planned bit of my soapbox as I try to be more active on here again, and just in time for her new birthday, here's another example that's conflicting me between Nina's charts that tbh I also just find neat:
(And yes, this is the Nina & Steve one people were looking forward to 💜)
So this is a snippet of her July 25th chart. If we go by that birthday for her, we see she potentially has her vertex, and her Jupiter conjunct her Chiron in Aries. Neat!
But tbh? That's not necessarily what interests me. What interests me more is what I see when I look at Steve's chart in comparison:
Here's a segment of his.
To sum up, Chiron in astrology represents someone's deepest wounds and how to potentially heal them. It's known as the wounded healer. And a conjunction is defined as when two or more planets are within 0° - 10° of each other. This range of aspects is known as an orb, and it's believed that the greater the orb (the closer to 10°), the less likely it is for the effects of that conjunction to manifest in a persons life. With some astrologers even believing conjunctions and other aspects w an orb greater than 6° or 8° are possibly negligible due to their weakened state.
Now when we look at their charts, we see Steve's Saturn possibly forms a conjunction w Nina's Vertex with a orb of 3°. His Sun her Jupiter by 4°, her Chiron by 8°. His Venus her Jupiter by 2°, and Chiron by 4°. (Stay w me here I promise it'll get good 🙏)
Saturn conjunct Vertex in synastry typically indicates a relationship that forces challenges, potential restriction, and introspection. - Venus conjunct Chiron often indicates the Venus person triggers the Chirons sense of inadequacy with love in some form. — This potentially sounds... a little like Steve & Nina?
On the other hand however, when we look at Nina's original January 23rd chart, I instead notice this:
An exact conjunction with a 0° orb of his Sun - his identity if you will - with her Chiron ; her deepest wound.
With Sun conjunct Chiron in a synastry chart, you get almost all you would get w the Saturn / Vertex & Venus / Chiron conjunctions, and then some. With greater chances too, since chances are her vertex isn't actually in Aries in her July 25th chart anyhow - (it's calculated location depends on the exact time you were born, w it moving around 2° every 5 minutes. Since I haven't figured out what her asc / time of birth would be w the July 25th one, that's just an estimate based around noon) - You even get great potential for growth that you would with the Jovian conjunctions, but in a more painful light :
And the thing about Chiron is that like Uranus, Neptune & Pluto, it's considered a generational planet. Meaning 1) it's effects are most noticeable via aspects to other placements and the house it resides, and 2) it more than others usually requires a tighter orb for it's effects to manifest, especially in the case of a synastry chart. Steve's sun conjunct her July 25th Chiron at 8° is possibly too wide of an orb.
But an exact 0° orb? Leaves no room for chance.
When you look at the aspects between them w the July 25th, it's her sense of inadequacy towards giving love and trying to be more warm & affectionate that's the problem. It's potentially the challenge associated with having a son so different from herself.
But with the January 23rd, it's all of that, and Steve himself as a whole that's the trigger.
Both are possible. To me one seems more accurate than the other.
And thus long story short: ✨the problem✨
