Useless Headcanon #2893274 | Marigold Sutton & Maddox Lane

Maddox is the brother Goldie always wanted, and luckily, in her own way got. It’s an opposites-with just-enough-in-common attract sort of vibe, and they exist in a totally platonic, pseudo-sibling realm together. Don’t get me wrong, she loves Daisy, she loves Alexia, and she’s thick-as-thieves with those two, but he’s a soulmate in a way.  Where she’s hard, he’s soft, she’s angry, he’s kind, she’s impatient, and he’ll give you all the time in the world. And all of those things thrown together in their environment growing up, created an unbreakable bond. They even each other out in a really good way. Maddox also knows how to coax shit out of Goldie, which isn’t always the easiest thing to do, so he handles the tough stuff with her. Goldie watches out for him in her own way, making sure he doesn’t take too much shit or become a total pushover for the people he cares about. She’s gotten into more than one screaming match on his behalf.  Point being - these two? They’re there for each other no matter what. Maddox frequently takes last minute trips to the city to help her finish an art project (this is meant to be top secret but he tells everyone because it annoys her to no end).  Side-Note: Maddox and Cora have a lot in common, and they’re obsessed with each other to be honest (they bond over giving Goldie shit). So just like Cora has a type, Goldie also has a type.
