* .  ♡              never in a million years did ellie think the empire would bother with her little corner of coruscant.  granted it wasn’t the most safest place to set up  ,  but ellie had no idea how she would have gotten off world.  at least here the odd rebel or straggling jedi could have a safe place to rest.

                          she tried not to panic when @debelltio​ appeared in her little bakery or was it a cantina (to be honest she was still trying to get used to the lingo) but here he was.  eyes narrow slightly but she puts on a brave face and smiles.  “ what can i get for you ? ”

* .  ♡              back was straight  ,  ramrod.  almost painful.  she hoped that her face didn’t give away the slight fear she felt.  shifting always made her a little bit confused.  but she had gotten used to these types of situations.  these questions.  she was lucky that no one had seen her appear out of nowhere.  “ uh - el- elenore. ” she stumbled over her words  ,  wincing ever so slightly as her gaze never wavered from @debelltio​.  “ elenore white. ”

´ ･ .  ✶ ━━      feet come to a sudden stop. her body turning on the spot.  eyes find anakin’s  ,  before her brows raised high into her hairline.  “  the left  ?  ”  she exclaimed  -  thumb pointing over her shoulder in the direction that the jedi had suggested.  “  on my own ?  ” his lightsaber was the only source of light that filled the cavern.  ellie had been following him.  she was betting on him to protect her.  she wasn’t very good at doing that on her own.  teeth chewed her lower lip. ,  the blaster that had been given to her felt heavy in her hands.  “  shouldn’t i stick with you. ?  ”

´ ･ .  ✶ ━━      time doesn’t seem real at this moment.  blue eyes focus on red for a second before she manages to catch a glimpse of what was happening over his shoulder.  never did elenore think she would be caught up in imperial shit.  she just wanted to stay under the radar  ,  away from the empire  ,  stay low and wait until she managed to find her way home.  “  what’s happening  ?  ”  she asks  ,  brows furrowing low over her eyes  ,  but the grand admiral doesn’t answer her  ,  and he’s turning on his heel.  ellie swallows and heaves a sigh  ,  as she comes to make herself smaller behind thrawn’s back.

´ ･ .  ✶ ━━      “  well  -  ”  blue eyes are focused on the sight in front of them. hands rested on her hips.  it was like a bunch of kids had made their way through here.  “  i wasn’t going to say anything.  "  the mess hall was in shambles.  the mixing of departments and troopers had gone so incredibly wrong today.  there had been an argument between a soldier and an official.  and someone threw the first shot.  the food she had slaved over had gone splat on the officers face.  ellie was NOT cleaning up the food from the floor  -  it wasn’t her mess and it wasn’t her fault.  but the look on krennic’s face begged a different story.  “  but you beat me to it.  ”

´ ･ .  ✶ ━━      eyes narrow as she stares at what she hopes is the eyes through the silver helmet.  stay here ... ellie scoffed at the words.  this planet was hot.  it was sandy.  and all around just not fucking cool.  there had been far worse situations the brunette had shifted into  ,  but this was just awful.  arms crossed over her chest.  “  did you not just see the giant alien worm  ?  ”  he had.  he saved her from it.  the little green guy that was floating at his hip made a noise.  “  don’t ... leave me alone.  please  ?  ”  all of this whining and ellie suddenly realised that she hadn’t even given him her name (or thanked him for saving her life).  nor has he given his.

* .  ♡                “  it’s not poisoned ...  ”  the brunette spoke up.  “  promise.  ”  it was just a cupcake.  her gaze watching @debelltio​ over the rim of her mug.  the empire certainly had relatively fancy ass kitchens.

* .  ♡             when it came to shifting realities  ,  it usually took everything out of ellie.  time periods wasn’t so bad but when it was to another universe  -  on another planet  -  that usually felt like someone had run her over with a truck.  which is why she lent against the wall of the building she had appeared next too.  she knew that she wasn’t home any more (if the aliens that slipped by where any consolation.)  hands rested on her knees and her body hunched forward  -  promptly sliding down the building to sit on the ground.  the burning in her chest was strong and rubbing against it wasn’t enough.  suddenly she felt that her jeans where too restrictive.  it didn’t help when she felt the presences of someone standing over her.  looking up she spots brown robes and she winces when the sun hits her eyes.  “ don’t mind me  -  ” she huffs. “ just  -  just out of breath. ” a terrible lie.

* .  ♡                                                      “ this is probably gonna sound crazy - ” her head hurts - felt like she had been hit by a truck. she trying to make herself look small, pressing herself against the wall - but still trying to make conversation with the person before her. “ but where am i ? ”

* .  ♡                                                    it had been a blaster shot, at least that’s what owen had called it - tuskens like to adventure close to their moisture farm. all of this seemed to go over ellie’s head, but she had nodded along, listening intently to the warning that he gave her. don’t go near them. it was the least that ellie could do, considering that the lars’ had taken her in and given her shelter. ellie had come to realise that a blaster shot would probably hurt JUST as badly as a bullet - therefore making up her mind that she had NO intention on getting herself shot.

                                                            it was later that evening, the brunette was unable to sleep - missing her own bed, and somewhere the had more ambient noise. she decided to make her way to the small kitchen downstairs to grab herself some ... blue milk (that still didn’t sound right to her but it actually tasted amazing), but she paused when she noticed the soft glow coming from the bathroom. coming closer to the doorway, ellie winced a couple of times as she spotted @whitesunsberu​, with what looked like medical supplies scattered around the room, trying her best to patch up a bad looking wound on her stomach.

                                                             ellie hadn’t realised that she had gotten shot - which probably meant that owen didn’t either. a hushed gasp brought ellie back to the present, before she worked up the courage to do something. stepping into the bathroom with beru, ellie took the gauze from the other woman. “ you get many rowdy people around here ? ” she questioned picking up the blue looking substance from the sink. “ because that doesn’t seem safe... ”

* .  ♡                                                     “ so what’s this one called ? ” ellie had seen the look of curiosity cross the other woman’s face when she had told @whitesunsberu​  that her main reason for BEING was, well to cook, to bake. elenore’s entire life up until the moment she disappeared into this new universe was cooking for people. fingers wrapped around the small round piece of food, before she placed it back down on the bench.

                                                              she then rested her back against the counter, as blue eyes watched beru move around the small kitchen. “ because to me - ” the brunette started, grabbing the stem of her drink and taking a sip. “ it looks like a kiwi fruit. ” it really did - the green colour was so VIBRANT that ellie had to do a double take when she spotted it. she promised that she was helping, and not just drinking their version of alcohol while beru did all the work.

* .  ♡                                                     “ appearing in the middle of a war...” ellie started as she ran a finger around the rim of her glass. she was glad that this universe, had some semblance of decent food. the soft mummer of voices in the mess hall aboard the ship, was enough to comfort her. letting her eyes lift and rest on @commandsir​, she let a soft smile cross her lips. “ not exactly my best moment. ”
