Scummy Bandman Bocchi!AU in a nutshell:

Band Broke up due to a huge failure/miscommunication after a concert when she was 21.

Fell into a deep depression and coped with it in the worst ways possible for 7+ years.

Family still tries to support her, even if she’s become distant and pitiable.

Got WAY too many piercings during drunken stupors.

Nearly as bad as Kikuri when it comes to using alcohol as a coping mechanism.

Has serious bags under her eyes due to lack of sleep, and overall lack of self care.

Fell back into making primarily heavy/death metal music, with her being the only member of her indie music channel.

Sincerely misses Nijika and Kita, but hasn’t contacted them nor thought of trying out of fear of another fight starting… Or them being disappointed in how she turned out.

Still in contact with Ryo, and the two often spend nights at the local bar, reminiscing over the good old days.

Believes herself to be solely responsible for the band drifting apart, which is another reason she hasn’t tried contacting her two other ex-band members.

Lives in a run down apartment, and uses the money from her channel to pay for rent and groceries. It’s also haunted, but the ghosts only come out when she leaves, because they’re afraid of her.

//In the Scummy!AU, Bocchi does end up becoming confident enough to do vocals in her videos, albeit, with the help of a bottle or three. Most of her viewers describe her singing voice as hoarse and aggressive, but over all, sings in a way that’s considered extremely talented and entertaining.//

Still, she DID manage to somehow get her band back together, even if they’re clearly super rusty… Regardless, she’d much rather they start from scratch and suck, together, instead of being solo stars, again.
