(okay so I was originally was gonna add this in the previous ask but I realised it got too long so decided to send this in another one, if you're wondering yeah this is the same anon :)

god I need to write whole thank you letter for the kinktober because oh.my.god. Mina youre so fucking talented!! Even while reading smut it feels like I'm reading a proper novel lmao. seriously though, no one can compare to you!! smut pieces in general, they're so rushed written?? Idk what's the right word but it's like the fic starts and it ends and usually even with different characters, they use almost the same repeated vocabulary/plots (not that I am complaining because hey atleast they're writing out their imagination unlike lazy me who searches for it online) but you!! ive been reading all the kinktober fics and ahh !!! the way you write, the way you describe things, ive fallen in love with it honestly. I love it so much that I want to annoy my friends and sister like a kid by showing them all your writings and be like read this!! But it's smut so I can't really do that lol. and I love how different the fics are but there's this mina signature in all your kinktober pieces so far! I so so admire how you wrote all of these in like two/three months or even less? it's hard to believe, because the quality and quantity!!You are serving us both! And you're so creative, working with like a short note sized request and writing it into 3k plus fics,, just wow!!!

And Mina you really got me simping for thingol, argon and turgon with your fics and these are the characters I've never had much interest in, so yeah thanks for that lmao. Also thank you for writing for curufin, recently been obsessed with him and sadly there's little to no works of him, so that fic really fueled my curufin obsession,, idk why but i felt like this needed another separate thank you of its own haha. But really though, just thank you so so much for for the kinktober event (btw shout out to the anons who sent the requests) thank you for existing and blessing us, I love you so much! <333

Reading this message this morning was a great way to start my day as I'm resurfacing from my week absence. Gosh, you highlighted a few things that I worry about when writing and made them disappear with your incredible words (struggling to not repeat plots/words is a massive issue😅). Means a lot to me 💖. This is a great way to be greeted before I dive back into writing. Now I'm motivated to write a ton of content.

Also, I'm thrilled my fics were able to spike your interest in characters who never were. This means my hidden intention is being fulfilled whenever I made a post 😂. My greatest wish is for those said characters' popularity to increase.

And second I read the elves reading thirst tweets posts you linked in the response and please they are so funny,, exactly how imagined they would be like !! the obliviousness yet also the awareness that they're indeed hot, yep they'd definitely react like that!

also can i just say thank you again for introducing me to silmarillion and fuelling the obsession, it's literally all I've been thinking for the past few months and honestly, loving every second of it! well except for when I'm reminded of what actually happened to all them but i try surpress that shit because who'd wanna think bout that lmao

oh also, I would like to really thank you for the underrated character event! after reading the books and fanfictions i fell in love with all those underrated characters,, i was so sad when I found out there isn't much work of them on here but im really greatful for this event! they deserve all the love!! and so far I've enjoyed all the recent fics and I hope you write more for them in the future! I honestly wish I knew how to write properly, i would have loved to participate in this event because i have so so many ideas and I can plot and everything but the actual writing and dialogue part, not my strongest suit haha

Ah, I'm so happy that I've decided to do this event. That was my initial reason to begin with. I would say, “What if someone ended up liking these characters and came looking for content and found none or little?”, which motivated me to pursue the event, and it thrills me to learn that you're enjoying it! I don't know if I'll do this event again since the purpose was boosting their content to make them less underrated, but if they still are after all this and more, then I'll do it again 😁

As for the Silm and our favourites, if you don't think about all the horrible stiff that happened to our favourites, do you really love them? You gotta remember their pain and hurt with them, it's about creating a bond and loving them more 🥲. And remembering all the stupid stunts some of them did smh.

Hii mina mae-duh-whores anon here! Hope you are doing good! first of all,i saw that ask mina and if you were to actually write mgime related stuff, please id really go crazy!! i love your writing so much!!

Second of all to that anon, if you actually start writing silmarillion mgime i wanna be the first to read it!! id love to beta read or just brainstorm or plot with you if you're up for that kind of thing!!

Third, I've got a recommendation or two that no one really asked for haha. There aren't many silmarillion mgime fics so I thought I'd share the ones I've read on ao3 that I think you or your followers might like!

The first fic called, stardusts in our souls by Autumn_moonlight. its ecthelion x oc, it was last updated in July or something, but its such a fun read so far! the oc reads ecthellion the harry potter series and his reaction and eagerness to find out what happens next, its so cute!! I love when the modern girl shares technology or stories or songs from her world and seeing the characters' reaction to it is just so!!! Oh, there's also maeglin x oc smut in later chapters so there's that i suppose.

Second fic, it's called the knowing princess by Fantasticoncer. it's kinda long? The author still updates it I think, I haven't really finished it yet tbh lol. anyways main pov is basically female of x maedhros but it has got lots of other ocs x characters too, like fingon and mairon etc. it contains reincarnation and stuff, mc gets reincarnated as an elf in valinor along with her sisters from her own home reality.

Third is the Oialëa series by natelly

It's mcu/tolkien crossover fic, its kinda long I suppose, multiple books and many chapters etc but it's fun read, tbh I haven't this one either. its not exactly silmarillion events set but oc is kinda part of the kidnap fam, glorfindel's sister, and I've read spoilers that maedhros travels to mcu in second book or something so I thought I'd add it to the list? The first book which I've read is hobbit period set, btw its elrond x oc, and the oc is also doctor strange's daughter, and she also has powers and stuff. So yeah, if you love mcu and silmarillion hobbit lotr and mainly elrond, this fic is for you. Honestly I don't even like elrond that much, more into his sons lol, but still,, it was so interesting I ended up reading the first book! The oc is such a fun gen z mgime and i love her so much! The series is so well written too and there's even separate prequels and epilogue and fics written from other characters perspective and stuff too! In one of the books maedhros and oc also goes to therapy, haven't read that part but mae,, im so glad he got therapy, he really really needs that haha

I am doing better as I've resurfaced from my week disappearance 😁. Though, everything feels strange as though I've been gone for longer 😅.

Some recommendations for those who enjoy the Modern girl in Middle Earth troupe and for the anon who's in the process of creating a story for modern day reader. Thank you for assistance 💖

Mina so I bought the silmarillion recently (you got me thirsting for them elves and valar so I had to read it😭 ) so yeah I was reading it and my sister was being annoying and asking what its bout, I couldn't really explain to her since she hasn't watched or read anything lotr related I was like here see yourself and she decided to read a random sentence out loud and she went "Mae-duh-whores— wait what this character is named Mae-duh-whores? When I tell you I couldn't stop laughing for like an hour straight and no my sister isn't a kid, she's older than me she's like 21 she's just a bit Jared 19 sometimes 😭

Thank you for cheering me up with this. My week has been messy so this was wonderfully needed. And you bought the silmarillion to read too 🥺, you're so sweet.

When we thought Mae had enough suffering, we're out here changing his name and giving him new ones. Mae, we're so sorry for doing this to you. Your sister's pronunciation of his name is legendary 😂. I can see Maedhros probably crying that how she butchered his name and is technically calling him a whore 😭. Despite being a kinslayer, he's also a whore on the side 🤣
