Looking up at the swordsmen, tilting head to the side. Valentines day was more commonly celebrated in Inazuma, Mondstadt and Fontaine, then Inazuma had White day the following month. Now that the two were maybe who knows kinda together the holiday could have more meaning for them.

Kazuha was always the romantic one, dreaming of prince charmings and happily ever afters. So celebrating the day of love was something he wished to do with whoever was to be his partner, and he is so glad it is Tomo. Despite the electro user saying they were unsure about doing romantic things they were in fact very romantic.

Breakfast in bed with a handmade gift was just perfect.

Tomoya had never understood birthdays. Well, that was until Kazuha came into picture. Because who would they be if they didn't celebrate the most important person in their life. Truly blessed to wake up by his side, knowing that they are loved as much as they love. Now Tomo gets all the thrill people mention, why birthdays can be so important.

"Hey, beautiful." The sweetest hum leaves Tomoya's lips, leaning against his arm as a quick peck is placed over those rosy lips of his. "Happy Birthday, babe. Got a lil something for ya."

A white box laced in yellows contain the gift in question: a beautiful handmade hair ornament with a red jewel in the middle, one that happens to match with his eyes. Small golden details set around it as some pieces try to imitate the sakura petals. It's not perfect but all their love and effort was put in a single item. The result of hours of non stop work.

"Here, open it."

A protest was on the tip of Kazuha’s tongue to tell Tomo they didn’t have to get him anything for his birthday. Just spending time with the electro user was more than enough. But seeing the way Tomo’s eyes lit up meant they put a lot of effort into the gift.

Being careful as he unwrapped the small box Kazuha couldn’t help the gasp seeing what was inside. The details on the hair ornament were beautiful and Kazuha could see not everything was perfect which meant Tomo made it by hand. Now everything made sense, why Tomo was going off on their own, staying up late and tinkering away in their corner of the tent and being protective whenever Kazuha asked.

Kazuha was overwhelmed by this gift clearly made with love. Stepping closer to bury his face in Tomo’s chest.

“I love it, its so beautiful. Thank you Tomoya, I will treasure it always.”

The smaller ronin summoned his anemo to jump out of Tomo’s arms to then disarm and taking out the larger foe. With the battle finally cleared Kazuha cried out for Tomo as he came closer to them. The wound was bad as it bled, luckily Kazuha had a vision for an element known for it’s healing.

Anemo was gathered into his palms as Kazuha pressed them to the wound and willed the cool breeze over Tomo to at least close the wound.

Dodging some Nobushi prowling around, usually the two could take one a few of them but there was just way too many to fight all at once. So they were pressed extremely close between some trees to hide in the tall thicket. 

Kazuha was trying to control his breathing to not be discovered. Looking up was a mistake as he realized how close he was to Tomo.

Tomo also turned their head to look at Kazuha and something sparked between them. Kazuha could feel the tension growing between them, and then he realized he was inching closer to Tomo, the other’s lips a hair breath away.

The moment was ruined by Tomo turning their head and saying the nobushi were gone.

Kazuha always knew Tomo had the height and strength advantage against him. So Kazuha would use his speed and smaller frame to win in these spars they have to sharpen their skills with the blade. 

The clanging of blades the only sound in the plains of Inazuma while the two traded blows. No visions to be used during these battles, keep it as fair as possible. One problem about having a constant sparring partner is they learn all your moves. So when Kazuha lunged forward to parry a move that give him and opening for a ‘killing blow’ Tomo grabbed his wrist yanking Kazuha forward.

The next thing Kazuha knew his back his the ground and he was pinned by Tomo. The taller electro user on top of him, keeping Kazuha immobilized. The anemo user trying to banish certain sinful thoughts now that they were in this position.
