“I don’t want to say that you’re right, but holy shit I think you’re right.” Looking back, the only Slytherins she had come into contact with had been very light, brown, or black hair. Was it a conspiracy? It seemed vaguely rude to think that there were absolutely no redheads in Slytherin, but for the life of her, she couldn’t seem to think of anyone that proved his statement wrong.
“Do you think it’s on purpose? Or is it just like a thing that if there were any ginger Slytherins, they’d look like Christmas threw up on them and so they don’t place them there in case they get bullied?”

for the soft asks: 26, 29, 30!
Hi V!
26; what movie would you want to live in?
I recently re-read the HP books and now I’m yearning for Hogwarts (or rather, the found family of it to be more precise. Having magical powers wouldn’t hurt either!) I mean, obligatory mention to SW. It’s so diverse and it’s the first universe I immersed myself in as a child. And also, this would kinda suck, but the Bladerunner-verse. It would be so, so interesting.
29; morning, afternoon or night?
morning for the quiet, afternoon for the sunlight, night for the reflection 💕
30; what reminds you of home (doesn’t have to mean house… just things that remind you of the feeling of home)?
vanilla candles, something in the oven, fresh cut flowers, not to get deep but emotional safety

Kiara glanced up, not expecting to see the other girl there. It was Hermione, one of her fellow Gryffindors, and a curious one at that. It wasn’t surprising she wanted to know more about Kiara’s latest spell, one that definitely wasn’t taught at Hogwarts.
“My father. He was a terrible man, but he taught me all kinds of magic that they don’t teach here.” For good reason too, since most of the spells and potions he knew could easily be used to do harm. She hadn’t been doing anything bad with it, of course, she never did anymore. Any spell was dangerous in the hands of the witch or wizard using it, this one just a little more so than others.
It was designed to forcibly expel someone’s intestines from their body, a terrible and messy means of death. Kiara preferred using it to help her study for Herbology. She liked seeing the different parts of the plant she was studying in person, rather than drawing it with her quill, as long as there wasn’t anybody around.
