About Lights supposed care for Sayu
That may have been true for pre-timeskip Light, but post timeskip, there's not much evidence that Light feels any kind of affection for his family. To prevent his plans from being ruined, he attempts to kill her after she is abducted, but doesn't only because it wouldn't make sense for Kira to do that. He also shows no reaction at all to her near catatonic state following the abduction, meaning that Light likely sees Sayu as nothing more that another person he could potentially use to further his own goals, much like all the people he interacts with
I assume you mean this post of mine?
I think I have already compared how the anime adapted this scene vs how it was portrayed in the manga. And I suppose that you're going by the former since the hints (however subtle) are present in the manga that Light cares for his family (which includes his sister of course).
There's a much detailed & thorough post by tumblr user casuistor about this subject so I really recommend you to check it out.
Okay moving on to your ask.
About Lights supposed care for Sayu That may have been true for pre-timeskip Light, but post timeskip, there's not much evidence that Light feels any kind of affection for his family.
That may be true if we're going by the anime. But since I prefer the manga (I had read it before watching the anime) and analyze canon through it most of the time, I'll have to disagree with you on that one since the manga does have evidence that Light loves his family.
It's subtler than before the time-skip but it's there. I'll happily point out why I think so.
Light appears to have grown distant from Sachiko & Sayu and that's because of the whole 'Soichiro chose to disown Light (as he disapproved of Misa) & Light ran away to live with Misa' lie they had told them. Yet their (+ Soichiro's) opinions on Kira matter to him:
You do not try to convince people of something as important as your secret ideology if you don't at least care about those people (read: Light cares about his family).
Despite being a lil distant, Light & Sayu haven't lost their playful teasing/bantering kinda relationship as Light compliments Sayu on jokingly rejecting Matsuda and Sayu teases Light about marriage.
I'll discuss Sayu's kidnapping in the next section of my answer (see also: my linked post at the beginning). To sum it up: Light puts himself to a disadvantage (as Kira) to save Sayu.
I believe these words are very genuine. Light has, from idolizing his father, grown to disapproving his self-sacrificial (his putting justice above family) nature. He reminds his dad how hard it'd be for the family if he leaves them behind and makes him promise that he'd do his best to have both of him & Sayu live. Observe closely how not letting the Note to Mello isn't the priority but rescuing Sayu is the first thing on Light's mind.
He also asks Soichiro if he & Sayu are okay as soon as he gets the opportunity. Not a word about lamenting the loss of Death Note but a simple are you okay?
After a few days, Mello contacts Soichiro again (the latter's phone is to be kept on in exchange for the former not killing him). And asks him about the new L's identity and threatens to kill Sayu if Soichiro doesn't answer.
Observe Light's face here. It's very clear that he's having a great difficulty in making a decision: either tell Mello L's identity & risk getting killed yourself or refuse Mello's demands resulting in his dad & sister's death.
He seems to be actually considering surrendering his name to Mello to save Sayu & Soichiro! (But it doesn't come to that as Matsuda offers his name instead)
My argument is this: if Light didn't have any affection for his family in the second arc (as you say), then why did he hesitate to plainly refuse to answer Mello's question (a question which is too risky for the new L's life)?
The answer's plain & simple: He wouldn't seriously consider to give Mello his name if he didn't care for his family. Thus, he does hold affection towards his family. Period.
I can go on & about how Soichiro's death devastates Light but a picture is worth a thousand words:
I do believe that his tears are very genuine here; Light's crying does Not have crocodile tears behind it- in other words I think Light is VERY upset by his dad's death so much so that he loses his cool that Matsuda has to physically restrain him:
After Soichiro's death, he tries to emotionally distance himself from that tragic event (referring to said event by the impersonal 'them attacking Mello's hideout' rather than smth vulnerable to Light i.e. 'his dad's death'):
He's trying his best to avoid explicitly thinking about his dad's death, choosing to drown himself into his work instead: so much so that Matsuda is concerned about him:
And he acknowledges the risk of his identity as 'Light Yagami' is L being revealed to Near just because of him staying quiet after his dad died like he is THAT affected by it and trying to hide that fact.
I hope you can see that Light cares about his father. Let's get back to the topic of his regard towards his sister.
To prevent his plans from being ruined, he attempts to kill her after she is abducted, but doesn't only because it wouldn't make sense for Kira to do that.
I have discussed at length why that is not the case in the manga but here's the gist of it. I tried to keep it short. I really did.
The NPA director Takimura is kidnapped first -> Other NPA heads are duly notified -> Light kills Takimura without a moment of hesitation, assuming that the kidnappers will take the fall for his death (it's part of Light's keikaku plan so that Kira won't be blamed for his murder. And since only the kidnappers and the NPA know about the kidnapping: it won't be assumed that Kira has any link to the NPA) -> the kidnappers do take the blame themselves (just as planned!...)
(...not. as: ) Sayu is kidnapped -> Mello instructs them to not notify the other NPA departments lest they kill Sayu -> Ide pressures Soichiro to notify other NPA personnel out of obligation, Soichiro agrees to throw his daughter under the bus. and. then-
Light does a complete 180 and says outright to the task force that it was probably Kira who killed Takimura (instead of y'know killing Sayu immediately to stop the exchange like he did with Takimura) -> essentially arguing against notifying other NPA members (to save his sister actually)
This sudden change in Light's plan (from having the kidnappers blamed for Takimura's death to Kira being blamed instead) is actively detrimental to Kira's cause since only the kidnappers and the NPA personnel know about Takimura's kidnapped and suggesting that Kira is behind Takimura's murder implies that Kira has ties to NPA (remember that Light is now a part of that NPA) so not a win for our Light-o.
Also, if he was really serious about killing Sayu- he had two easy, very easy options:
1. Do nothing.
That's it. Remember Soichiro was ready to notify the other NPA personnel (Ide pressures him to do that). Thus, if the NPA (apart from the task force) made any move, the kidnappers as per their threat would've killed Sayu themselves.
If Light didn't jump in to rescue his sister (coz that's what he did in canon) by offering an alternate possibility of Kira being behind Takimura's death, Sayu would've ended up dead.
2. Kill Sayu himself at the best opportunity (which was when he had just heard the news about her kidnapping; not unlike how he wasted no time to kill Takimura).
But Light far from considering these options (*holds a neon sign reading 'LIGHT DOES NOT WANT TO KILL HIS SISTER AS HE CARES FOR HER'*), goes "hey, is anyone gonna save my sister?" and does not wait for an answer which he's already gotten what-with even his father agreeing to notify the NPA personnel which would've resulted in her death.
So no I don't agree with you when you say "To prevent his plans from being ruined, he attempts to kill her after she is abducted, but doesn't only because it wouldn't make sense for Kira to do that." since the reason it wouldn't make sense for Kira to kill Sayu was because of Light himself blaming Kira for Takimura's death (he did that to save her otherwise the police would've moved and the kidnappers would've killed her anyway).
The result of Light's actions? Now if he were to kill Sayu after revealing the real murderer behind Takimura's death, the list of Kira suspects would narrow down to...the task force as they are the only ones who know about the kidnapping other than Mello & his gang. Light is canonically a genius so why would he do something like this to jeopardize his own previous plans? The answer is simple as Ryuk points it out.
Light has a soft spot for his sister. I have elaborated on this in my above linked post so this is a bit redundant to say the least. (not that I mind your ask! I love discussing the tragedy of the Yagami siblings to anyone who'd care to listen.)
He also shows no reaction at all to her near catatonic state following the abduction, meaning that Light likely sees Sayu as nothing more that another person he could potentially use to further his own goals, much like all the people he interacts with
With Light you cannot take his reactions (or lack thereof) at their face value. He's more complex than that.
The following scene (in which we see Sayu visibly showing her disdain for Kira since he's the reason why their dad is so busy that he couldn't come for New Year's.
And Light's eyes are hidden as they usually are when he's feeling emotionally conflicted. He can't stop being Kira however that doesn't mean he likes causing his family misery indirectly.):
...is a direct parallel to this one (& both happen to be around New Year's which I assure you is not a coincidence):
His dad is dead because of him being Kira. I'm not saying Light is the direct cause of his death. Far from it, as Light had intended Matsuda to have the eye deal and die for it, but instead his dad had volunteered which wasn't according to his keikaku. Still Light being Kira is of course an indirect cause to Soichiro's death and the idea isn't lost on Light.
He likely feels very guilty for the same and cannot bring himself to face his remaining family. Sayu's current state (her in a wheelchair after the kidnapping) was indirectly caused by him being Kira as well. It isn't hard to imagine that Light has difficult feelings about that too. I'd argue that his lack of a reaction IS the telling factor of how much he cares actually.
He cares to the point of not daring to meet the rest of his family's eyes after the two incidents (Sayu's kidnapping & Soichiro's death). He cares because he is the cause of the Yagami family being the most tragic. He cares because no matter what he told Ryuk, that he'd be the exception to the rule of Death Note users being faced with misfortune, he now knows that he isn't that exception with his own family in shambles.
Death Note is a tragedy because of how much Light Yagami cares.

What do you think would have happened if any of the charters were able to stop B2J?
Or worse, got… killed by B2J?
This is... definitely interesting, and two different questions I'll have to answer.
One: if any of the Charters managed to dissuade them enough to stop, I'll phrase it that way.
... Maybe the Yinu and Mama fight could have been the stopping point for them, if they put their foot down and refused to go into the battle once they heard that they were going to be fighting a child. May does take a step back when she realizes that, but she continues forward.
I think that's the only point I can see them really stopping. Before or just after Yinu's battle, as that one was designed to make you start realizing you're not doing a "good thing."
Two: if any of the Charters killed them (I'm assuming you mean Charter kills B2J, not other way around.)
Yes, any Charter could've hurt them accidentally, as a lot of their battles and lead-ups are dangerous.
I believe only Sayu's is perfectly safe, as Nova balances them on objects, tries to slab giant orbs into them, fIRES A NEUTRON LAZER AT THEM, IMPLODES AND TRIES TO DRAG THEM INTO HIS CORE, and various other things;
Mama ends up taking them up really high and they all fall to the ground, yeah, in any realistic situation one of them is injured gravely from the fall;
1010 firing lasers at and exploding near them and the entirety of the run-up before the battle could have killed them if they fell off the limos and got dragged underneath, not even mentioning Neon for right now;
Eve... well, it's debatable what actually is occurring during her battle, but overall "here, let me throw these massive art pieces at you and try to generally crush you;"
And Tatiana tries to hunt them down her entire battle with giant sword-clock-hand-things.
But the only one who would kill them intentionally is... Neon, I imagine. No one else would have the stomach to try and kill them. And, hell, he literally says: "initiate Kill All Protocol" at some point unless I'm mistaken. You're right, 1010 would not be able to, but that's solely because for their battle, 1010 are blindly following their pre-set routine. They don't fall out of line at all, even when they're reacting to being hit and expressing they're in pain—they don't actually aim for B2J at all. If you're getting hit by them, it's cause you walked into them. They keep up the same song and dance (literally) until they break them, then it starts over, until Neon gets involved. It would be incredibly easy if they did fall out of line, but they don't. Captain gives orders, they follow.
Neon is the only one with the stomach and the motivation to actually try to hurt them, let alone kill them:
Tatiana wants them to stop, and nothing else is deterring them. He is going to serve Tatiana and do whatever they make him do. If they refuse to listen to reason, and are even willing to put a child in harm's way for their little 'cause,' then they need to be stopped.
One way or another.
Now, I will say that Neon would not try to hurt them right outta wedlock; he'd warn them. He'd tell them. They'd know exactly what's about to happen, the entire time, because he's not going to let even one of his enemies have an ungraceful death: they will be told he is going to use force, they will be warned of the exact amount he will be using, really, and they will know that if they do not stand down, he will make them.
And if they don't, he does.
As for what happens after that is a different thing entirely.
#like. neon's a killer but he's not a /mindless/ killer. he's expressed he's willing to cause harm for the better of the people he cares for.#and if he deems that b2j has gotten between that...#or if tatiana directs him so...#well.#he's a soldier at heart. and soldiers follow orders.#the only thing is: maybe he follows them a bit too much.#ও musings#nsr#no straight roads#b2j#djss#sayu#yinu#1010#neon j#eve#tatiana

"This isn't what I meant by 'bonding activities,'" Misa says.
L has his entire arm, up to the elbow, stuffed into the Jenga tower box. Light silently prays for his hand to get stuck. "Did you not say you wanted company, Amane-san?"
"Yeah, but I didn't mean with you," Misa retorts. "I said I was lonely without Light around!"
"Yes, and Light-kun is attached to me," L explains patiently. He successfully withdraws from the box; the missing Jenga piece dangles between his thumb and index finger. Damn it. "Many couples play tabletop games together."
"I don't want to be in a couple with this creep," Misa says. "You don't either, right, Light?"
Light sighs. "Misa, you're a suspect in a murder investigation. It doesn't really matter if you want to or not."
"What?! What about consent?"
Since when have you cared about consent? Light does not say aloud. Instead he says, "Whatever," because he's a nice person. "Let's just get this over with."
"Beh," Misa mumbles, but she settles down on the sofa to peer at the Jenga tower pieces L has dumped onto the table. Light and L sit opposite her; L, with uncharacteristic grace, places the last wood block on top of the pile.
"You know," Light remarks, "I'm pretty sure the pieces are already arranged as a tower when you first buy them. You didn't have to scatter them all out."
"Oops," L says without a hint of remorse.
No one moves. Eventually Light, with another sigh, leans over and starts stacking the tower up himself.
-
Light has played Jenga before, obviously. With friends during recess when it was raining outside, yeah, but more often with Sayu and Mom over the holidays. Mom is brilliant at it; Sayu's alright, but takes too many risks. Light's no strategic master, but he's also never lost, as far as he can remember — he just plays it safe and goes for the loose blocks in the middle.
Suffice it to say that this round is going to kill him.
"This should not be standing," he says in a desperate plea to the rules of physics.
Misa grins. She's only been taking blocks from the left side of the tower (and putting them on the right side, to be fair, but that should not nearly be enough to balance this structure). Even one piece in the base level is gone. "But it is!"
"Ryuzaki," Light says, gesturing at their inadvertent creation of the Leaning Tower of Pisa's inferior cousin, "how is — how?"
"Amane-san is quite a good opponent," L muses, neatly dodging his question. He leans forward with a smile, pressing his thumb into his lip. "I am honored to be playing against her."
Misa brightens. "Hey, Ryuzaki, you're not so bad!"
"I'm here too," Light mutters.
"Hmm." L tilts his head, thumb digging deeper. Light watches the way the strands of his hair fall out of and into place. "Let's see…"
Five seconds pass. Then ten.
Light, all of a sudden, realizes he's been staring at the way L's hair curls just slightly when it brushes against the nape of his neck for far too long. He drops his gaze immediately; it lands on the chain between them instead.
The chain. The chain connected to L's hand. He could end this hell with just one tug —
No, too suspicious. If he cheats at Jenga, L will surely jail him (again) for mass murder.
"Can you hurry up?" Misa crosses her arms, leaning forward. "It's only supposed to take a minute, you know."
"Not all of us have your reality-manipulating powers, Amane-san," L murmurs. His thumb has not left his lip.
"Or maybe I'm just better than you."
L's gaze flickers upward. "Did you often play Jenga in the past?"
"Not really." Misa shrugs. "My friends weren't all that into it."
"Then I find that rather unlikely." L glances back down to the pieces he's considering; Light lets himself exhale.
"No, it just means I'm a natural talent!"
Instead of responding, L reaches and plucks a piece away. It happens so fast Light has no time to blink, exactly the same way L eats sweets.
The tower wobbles and —
No. Still standing.
"Jeez," Light mutters.
"Unhappy I'm winning, Light-kun?" L puts his piece down on the top level. He puts it down vertically. (He's already placed five other pieces this way, packed together in a geometry that is apparently conducive to structural support. Light wishes he could strangle him.)
"Who says you're winning?" Light and Misa say simultaneously.
They blink at each other. Then Misa beams, putting her hand up for a high-five. Light meets it hesitantly.
"I do," L says, unconcerned. He tugs the chain. "It's your turn, Light-kun."
"I know that." Light leans forward, narrowing his eyes. Despite everything, this shouldn't be difficult. All he has to do is find a loose block, and then this tortuous game will continue on as usual.
He briefly considers collapsing the tower on purpose.
No. Light Yagami does not lose. He taps at one of the pieces; nope, load-bearing. Another one. Nope. Another —
Suddenly he's falling — wind whistles in his ears — and then he hits something bony and angular with a thump.
Light stares. He'll deny this later but he stares and stares and stares, until he finally registers that he is lying in the lap of quite possibly the second worst man alive and jolts back upright, pushing him away. "What the fuck, Ryuzaki!"
L's laugh is low and slow and amused. "I only moved my hand a little," he says. "I didn't know Light-kun could tip over so easily."
"You are cheating," Light accuses. "You wanted me to lose!"
"The tower is perfectly intact," L says. "No evidence, no crime."
Light tears his glare away from L to check. Yes, the accursed tower is still standing. Damn it all.
"That's the whole problem, isn't it," L continues. "No evidence…"
Misa slams her hands down on the table, making the tower judder. Light startles; he'd almost forgotten she was there. "You locked us up for two months and didn't even have evidence?!"
"There is plenty of evidence in your case, Amane-san." L turns to look at her. The loss of his gaze feels a bit like a punch, but a mild one that Light is not affected by whatsoever. "And besides, I was referring to Jenga."
"Well, what about my boyfriend? He never—"
"Just drop it, Misa," Light says. "He's not changing his mind."
For a split second, Misa glares at him. Light almost flinches — and then it's gone again, replaced with a pout. "But he's insufferable!"
"You'll only have to suffer me until we catch Kira," L says dryly. "So I suppose we'd best do that as soon as possible."
(Aizawa, muttering from the control room: "Oh, really.")
"Yeah, well, we will," Misa says. "And I bet Light's going to beat you to it, 'cause he's so much smarter than you. Right, Light?"
"It's still my turn," Light says. "If you pull me again, I'll break your nose."
"Hmm. Ten percent."
Light steadies both feet on the ground, clenches his chained hand into a fist, and reaches for the tower again.
He taps. And keeps tapping. With growing horror, he realizes that there are no loose pieces. Every level is made of just the middle block and the right block now, and none of them are pullable. They’re just not enough on their own.
…Wait.
Light takes a long inhale and holds it, just in case a breath would disturb the structure. He squeezes his eyes shut, then open. He reaches for the level 75% of the way up.
Slowly, agonizingly slowly, Light uses his thumb and index finger to maneuver the middle piece into a diagonal —
There! The right piece slips out easier than butter.
Light does not indulge his first instinct, which is to yell FUCK YES!!!!!. Instead he leans back, exhales, inhales, and then puts the piece back on the top layer.
The tower does not fall.
"Your turn, Misa," Light says, attempting to school his smile from "deranged" to "enthusiastic."
Misa claps in delight. "That was amazing!"
"Interesting," L muses. "Interesting."
"What?"
"I was under the impression that moving a piece other than the one played was a rules violation," L says.
"Wh—" Light nobly does not punch him. He weighs the possibility of claiming he had never done that, but the middle block is indeed at a distinctly unnatural slant now. "That's not true. You made that up."
L leans over the side of the sofa and plucks the manual out, flipping through it carefully. "'Any blocks moved but not played should be replaced'—"
"—'unless doing so would make the tower fall,'" Light reads over his shoulder. "And it would!" The middle piece is clearly the only one holding up the entire layer. "Take that, Ryuzaki!"
L frowns. "You, Light Yagami, are a sore loser."
"I think you're the sore loser here, to be honest," Light says, faintly giddy. He could kiss someone right now.
"Your turn!" Misa says triumphantly.
They both turn to look at her. Misa has removed the other side of the base layer. The tower is now standing entirely on one block, wavering uncertainly in the faint air-con breeze.
"What the fuck," Light manages.
Misa grins. "Good luck, Ryuzaki!"

so i know you don't want to write for sahsr right now so may i request a sagau where creator (also artist reader if you are ok with that) reader basically just adoring all the kid playable characters cause they think their just the cutest like the reader cheering on kachina as she makes her way through the night warden wars or the reader could name ingredients that diona could use for her drinks
Welp... 🧍♀️
I love that idea so much! It's really cute to think about the creator being absolutely enchanted by the kid characters in Genshin Impact, especially since a lot of them are so precious and funny.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/4f4d2439fb19d702d60e622e1e50e2b6/1eae89618fab99c0-28/s540x810/6e007ed53976546cfe54c05e2d482dc22f2b5978.jpg)
As the creator, you are a being of incredible power and influence—yet at times, you can’t help but be utterly charmed by the smallest things. And nothing melts your heart more than the precious little ones of Teyvat, who always seem to be ready for an adventure (and often, mischief).
Klee
It all starts when you watch Klee during one of her explosive missions. She’s running around, her small feet taking her across the battlefield, her cheerful giggles trailing behind her as she launches bombs in every direction. And as much as the others cringe, you can’t help but adore her.
You find yourself cheering her on from your place above, your voice soft yet full of encouragement:
"Go, Klee! You’re doing great! You’ve got this, just a few more bombs and you'll show them who's boss!"
You can practically see her face light up, as though she’s hearing your words, her giggles growing even more infectious.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!" she cheers, as the explosions continue, and you think, maybe I’ll draw her with all those sparkles around her next time—oh, how fun it would be to make her look like a literal firecracker in my painting!
Diona
Then there’s Diona, your favorite little bartender, who may look small but holds her ground with her ferocious attitude toward anyone who dares to doubt her drink-making skills. You’ve seen her concoct all sorts of strange but (somehow) delicious potions, and you're there, in the background, naming all the ingredients she might use for her drinks.
"Hmm, Diona," you muse from your corner, a grin spreading across your face, "How about you add some mint leaves for a refreshing taste and a splash of lavender for a calming effect. A little honey wouldn’t hurt either!"
She pauses, glaring at the air for a moment, as if pondering the suggestion. After a moment, she huffs, shaking her head. “Hmph. You think you know better than me? Fine, I’ll give it a shot. But it’s still gonna be better than anything that idiot swillmaster makes.”
You laugh, quietly, adoring her tenacity. You can’t wait to paint her, maybe with some of the fresh ingredients floating around her, her tiny arms crossed in that cute, pouty manner.
Kazuha and Sayu
Kazuha and Sayu often wander the lands of Inazuma together, sharing stories of the world. But you can’t help but notice how small and innocent they both look, especially when they get caught up in their small adventures.
Kazuha, while wise and calm, becomes this beautiful and somewhat soothing sight as he plays his flute while Sayu, despite being a ninja, tries to keep up but always ends up sleepy or distracted by the clouds.
“Hey, Kazuha, you should totally give Sayu a ride on your back,” you suggest with a soft chuckle, watching as Sayu tries to climb up Kazuha’s back and ultimately just ends up lying down instead.
You adore their dynamic. Kazuha always smiles when you’re cheering them on, and Sayu often gives you a tiny wink as if saying, “I know, I know. I’m cute.”
Nahida
Nahida, the archon of wisdom, might be incredibly powerful, but she has a youthful curiosity that’s completely contagious. You find yourself constantly beaming as she gets excited over learning new things, always running around with a little notebook, jotting down facts about the world, or chasing after butterflies in the fields.
"Look at her go," you muse as you watch her from afar, your heart swelling with pride. "She’s so curious, so full of life. You can do it, Nahida! Keep chasing that butterfly! It's yours!"
She looks up from her butterfly chase, beams with her bright, warm smile, as if hearing your praise. There’s a part of you that can’t wait to draw her—capturing her joyful energy, her hair fluttering in the wind, and her little hands reaching out for the world.

Meanwhile, the characters who watch you interact with these little ones are torn between being endearingly amused and very confused.
Albedo, who sees you painting these adorable scenes of the children, may quietly ask, “Are you sure you want to paint them this way? They’re… quite a handful, aren’t they?”
Zhongli, ever the calming presence, merely chuckles, his hands clasped. “Let them be, my friend. You’ve captured their true nature in your artwork, as always.”
Diluc, on the other hand, simply raises an eyebrow when he overhears you cheering for the kids. He can’t quite decide if it's adorable or baffling, but he keeps his opinions to himself, lest you get any more ideas to paint him in some weirdly soft light.

Before long, you find yourself starting an entire gallery dedicated to your love for the younger characters. Klee’s explosive adventures, Diona’s sassy bartending, and Nahida’s innocent curiosity are now immortalized in stunning, vibrant colors. Every character is fascinated by your works—some even request copies.
And you know what? It doesn’t matter that you’re the creator, or that your abilities stretch beyond the limits of mere mortals. For these small, lovable, and endlessly adorable children of Teyvat? They will always have your heart.

Sayu’s family still hadn’t recovered from the aftermath of the Kira case. While she had known it was dangerous, she hadn’t expected Light to become one of the many casualties. The truth about Light’s involvement was still a secret to her and her mother, in an attempt to spare them the additional pain. A part of her knew there was more to her brother’s death than anyone was telling her, but something told her not to pry.
While she had been in a daze for the most part while she was strolling past the cafe, she instinctively entered, drawn in by the aromas of sweets. It took a moment after passing the detective to process that she had seen him before.

Sayu blinked, appearing as though she hadn’t been expecting to see him. It took her a moment to try to recall his name. She swore that her father and brother had said it before. “Ryuzaki, right? You’re one of the ones that helped stop Kira.”
Sweetest Victory

L had to admit, things have been rather dull after the infamous Kira case closed a month ago. He didn’t mind but he would often wonder if something that extravagant would happen again. It was amusing.
For now, he was just at a cafe he frequented, enjoying the pastries he liked so much.

What if, after dying at the end of Death Note, Light Yagami woke up in the body of Bella Swan just as she’s arriving in Forks?
"Ah, so this is Nothingness," Light muses to himself, having been told by Ryuk already that there is no afterlife for humans, that we each instead enter Mu, the great nothingness, and cease to exist. It's a lot more American and feminine than he expected.
Slowly, Light realizes he's actually been reincarnated. His ID tells him he's an American girl named Bella Swan, seventeen years old, from Phoenix Arizona. The year is also 2006, which oddly puts him back in time several years (Light died in 2010).
Even odder yet, he sees no signs of Kira, when Light was very much active during 2006 and had been for a few years by that point. While he knows Japan was very central to the Kira case, given it was confirmed he was in the Kanto region and thus likely Tokyo by L to the national public, America had been paying attention as had everyone else.
There wouldn't be no sign of him.
Light reluctantly has to conclude he's in a kind of parallel reality or perhaps a dream world (this dream world theory growing stronger when he learns that Bella Swan's father is the chief of police, who has similar qualities to his own father).
He's not sure how he feels about this.
Towards the end of his life he'd purposefully alienated himself from his family and then Kira had done the rest.
His father, who had always been a workaholic, became even more of one with the Kira case and then died believing Light was innocent.
Sayu was kidnapped by Mello and never the same afterwards.
His mother was left to deal with the aftermath of both his father's and now his own death. Leaving him to wonder, of course, what the task force decided to tell them of why Light didn't come home.
Now he's living someone else's life, and she's estranged from her family as well, having left the mother she'd always lived with and moving in with a father she appears to barely know.
"Am I being punished?" Light wonders to himself.
He gets to school and he's certain of it. There's some kind of yokai there, the Cullens, who look in their own way more inhuman than Ryuk. In Biology he's confronted by one and becomes certain it's intent on killing him when he has no access to any notebook and is in a much weaker, clumsier, body than he'd ever been in life.
When, however, instead of dying painfully he finds out Edward ran away...
Light finds himself mildly intrigued. Alright, this universe is annoying, his work was wiped away, he has no means of becoming Kira again, and it appears ayakashi/yokai/mononoke are pursuing him, but something here is happening and it could give him a clue as to what this world really is.
And Light finds himself playing a familiar game he played with many women before, charm Edward Cullen.
As Light's very quickly able to pinpoint what it is Edward wants in a woman, he avoids an untimely death, and canon proceeds unhindered until Light realizes. Oh no. This demon actually really does want a relationship with him while hungering for his blood. Light's read those folk stories.
Light takes the Paranoid Bella route until the Volturi alternative presents itself, and while hating the idea of being subservient to these warlords, he does appreciate the cause of murdering man eating demons and it gets him away from Edward.

Hey! I'm Nathaniel/Spiral/Fox and i write things sometimes!
You can find me @/spiralsystem on Ao3!
This blog will mainly be posting requests, as my main fics that I'm working on will be posted directly to archive, however I'll still post finished fics here!
For x reader requests I will likely use the pronoun "you" over "they" (I just think it's fun)
HOW TO SEND A REQUEST: please send the pairing you want, any tropes or whatever (not obligatory), and pick from one of 3:
- Headcanons: a quick page of headcanon points
- Drabble: quick blurb between 200-500 words
- Short fic: 1000-3000 words
Please don't be shy with requests!
IMPORTANT NOTE: IF YOU DON'T SPECIFY WHAT TYPE OF FIC U WANT, I CANNOT WRITE IT FOR YOU.
Request types I will take:
X GN!Reader
X Male!reader
X Trans!reader
Character x character
Main fandoms I'll currently write for:
Baldur's Gate 3
911/911 Lone Star
Dishonored
Ace Attorney
Vocaloid/Project Sekai Colourful Stage
Critical role seasons 1 & 2
Dc
Jujutsu Kaisen
Genshin Impact
All For The Game
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Merlin
& Many more!
More about my writing under the cut so this doesn't get super long :)
Views on shit for writing: I reaaallly don't subscribe to the whole concept of proship/antiship. I take requests on what I'm comfortable writing.
I DO accept nsfw requests, but only within appropriate age ranges. I am comfortable writing age gaps but please dm me and i'll write something on a different site, same with any other typically "taboo" requests. I will not release a "will not/will write" list because that's just inviting problems.
If you'd like nsfw x a minor!character, please specify in the ask if you are also a minor. If there is no age, I will deny the request. I won't write underage smut for adults. I also probably won't push it past an M rating.
Minors I write for:
ProSeka: Honestly realistically most of these characters are minors, but like we don't all know teenagers aren't celibate. Vocaloids don't canonically have ages but since they're all kinda minor-coded, I'll just stick to M max for proseka.
Genshin - Qiqi and Klee, Sayu, and Yaoyao. Diona is NOT a minor, she runs a bar 🙄. Bennett/razor/fischl/anybody who uses the "teen model" I consider 18 at least.
Ace attorney - pearl, trucy. If you want ema I'll write her as her older self unless specified, sorry.
9-1-1: I'll write any of the kids as a side accessory to their parents, unless you want a Gen piece about the kids. I love writing Chris & Denny :)
Dc: Ages are played with a lot in DC, so any characters that are generally accepted as minors/adults will be treated as such. I.e: Damian Wayne, Jon kent will be treated as kids unless you specify a universe where they're older (like when Older!Jon came to that one Earth)
BALDUR'S GATE 3:
The ONLY characters I won't write for this are LAE'ZEL and MINTHARA:
Minthara: killed her and saved the tieflings. No real interest in having her as a companion so I haven't seen any content with her.
Lae'zel: get back to me when she doesn't excuse slaughtering and colonizing entire towns lol. I'm native and the gith creche slaughtering the entire temple of lathander (as. As a cleric of lathander also) and she was like 🤷♂️ we live here now. I was not cool with that. I also really don't know how to write a romance for someone who is constantly combative towards the player.
BSD: I can only write for the ADA characters + aktugawa because. I have only seen season 1 :,) sorry
Muses & character's I'm great at writing for:
Bg3: Tav, Wyll
911: Eddie, TK
Dishonored: Corvo, Outsider (and Garett from Thief 2014)
Ace Attorney: Edgeworth, Klavier, Apollo, Clay, Simon, Diego
Vocaloid/Proseka: Len, VFlower, GUMI, Shiho, Toya, Mafuyu, Mizuki
Critrole: Percy, Vax, Caleb, Jester
DC: batfam, superfam, flashs & rogues gallery, teen titans, young justice
JJK: Gojo, Nanami, Itadori, Inumaki, Fushiguro
Genshin: Diluc, Zhongli, Alhaitham & Kaveh (and 4ggravate), Traveler twins, Pantalone, Wriothesley
AFTG: Neil, Aaron, Jean

I can see Team Sayu trying to give Sayu a body after granting her sentience, only to get rejected. “Pyun! Having a body seems too boring! You can’t change shape!” (Something about AI having a different perspective in the first place)
I adore this, actually.
"A body...?" Glitching giggles pour from the screen.
"Huh? What'd we say that was funny?"
"Everything, pyun! Physical things are so silly! Why would I want a body-body when I don't need one? I can do what I want like this already!"
"... You... wouldn't wanna touch stuff?"
"If I touched stuff, then I might feel wet! If I feel wet, then I'll feel cold! If I feel cold, then I'll get CLAMMY! If I get clammy, then I'll get so, so sad!!"
"Right. Yeah, no duh..."

@kuroyrii : “Senpai” calloused digits stretch out, grabbing softly at the fabric of his sleeve. She suddenly presses her slender form against the nearby wall, inhaling a sharp breath as the cursed corpse looks around curiously, the small plushie confused. Terror strikes on her features as she motions, shhh! hide me, will you? Her shoulders slump as she finally exhales, “Sorry, that one has been after me all day, I guess Yaga is trying to warn me about the element of surprise, it’s over kill - don’t you think?”
ㅤ𝐀𝐍𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝐃𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐒 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇 doing in the face of danger. Before a familiar fragrance would engulf him like a woven road by myriads of sylphs the pull on sleeve enkindled sparks of confusion within tens of seconds. His eyes refocused upon Sayuri and he no longer spoke as if submerged in deep waters of sleep, nor his tongue felt slate heavy. Sentient curiosity comes to flourish and his purpose to continue along the road leading to the dorms has fled.
'' Sa-. '' Her sudden ambush stopped him in the middle to address her properly. Why so? Such Incomprehensive mystification. Once shaking off condition of bemusing puzzlement he couldn't help himself but cursorily grin in slantwise leniency once she explains her worries, " You, and scared? " Speaking in almost saccharine tonality if not distinctive sound and flickering eyelashes reassuring in their reflectiveness giving away her visceral worries.
'' Tsch, how fortunately I am merciful, wait here, '' he urged right after slight tease. Her Senpai luckily agreed to provide cancelation to the role of treacherous usher; he would not leave her in troubles, even if she would not ask for it. Doubt haunted his steps but now it have vanished for he stole a peak himself in curiosity. The view had nothing to do with ambiance of dusk-lit tops of Mt. Mushiro. The Cursed corpse who terrorized the road with patrol looked nothing like the cute one they formerly encountered but rather like a mutated huorn about to smite anyone crossing its path. It would not surprise him to figure out that this sow was in fact something worse that would make one wish for tusk-wounds. Given a standard issue, the culprit whose misdeeds could be forgiven only by its creator painstakingly searched for its target by combing nearby bushes, one after another, and reacting to the slightest hints of trepidation. Geto's overworked muscles already protested the strain from his last training and dealing with /this/ right now felt like a huge 'no no'.
No way!
" A bit far afield if you ask me ... we need to get out of here before it will rash an unsightly action, " he whispered to her quietly and hid beside her by the same wall.
Their situation - spiced as it was, was not beyond hope. In order to overcome noxious confrontation, Geto's grey cells quickly assembled splinters of aforethought, evaluating the importance that their passage should remain secretive. A risque like throwing a coin into darkness. Cursed Spirit Manipulation unlocked the portal of ink; unleashing a minor grade (*and Racoon sized) Curse that slithered out and plunged among the bushes, dashing far away the opposite from their location as a decoy. The corpse, now fully alarmed immediately heard the noise traveling across the bushes and rushed after it. This was their chance!
" Quick, let's go! " with a gentle tug, his hand locks upon Sayuri's wrist to pull her out and flee with her the other way around. - before their luck runs out and they would have been turned back by the long fangs of their drill Sensei's creation.
#kuroyrii#!Sayuri#Muse: Geto#VERSE (past) : ⑆ㅤㅤㅤcracks in golden seal.#{ Yeah you two better run and hope it won't catch up >8( with ya! }#{ The way he laughs at it then sees how the corpse looks like and quickly nopes - not today. He's grabbing Sayu and dashing off scene with#her! }#反応‚ㅤ╱ 𝐒𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐑𝐔 𝐆𝐄𝐓𝐎 reacted.

Genshin musings : Visions and personality traits (will contain spoilers)
Just my own toss at "what's the common points between the Vision users and their attributed elements".
Like, there's a pattern to each, but it can be difficult to grasp - or might not be the obvious thing everyone would usually associate with the element in question. Going with the characters we have, in order of game travelling :
1 - ANEMO - WIND - Barbatos/Venti, in Mondstadt : Freedom So Anemo as wind is generally associated with free-spirited, easy-going, some might even say light personalities, with a general theme that the Vision bearer has lost someone or something in their lives : it's the first element you receive, and you "just" lost your sibling. Venti himself mourns his bard friend, Kazuha has lost his own friend, Xiao has lost the Yaksha, Faruzan lost all her old acquaintances and old life due to living way past their time, Heizou's story has also a lost friend due to injustice, Chasca already has a Vision but we see her lose her sister Chuychu, Jean's master Varka isn't dead but has disappeared from her life, and so on for Sucrose and Lynette at least, the latter being an orphan like her twin brother. Xianyun has lost Adepti friends to wars and strife, and boy, do we need to talk about the Wanderer ? Sayu and Lan Yan are kind of the outliers here, though, but they do deal with lost or rare arts - rottin figurines and ninjahood. Everyone seems to deal with missing something, from a person to a time to a concept.
However, there's something that kind of brings all Anemo wielders together, in that they're all very observant, in an unassuming sort of way. Like if Columbo had a Vision, it'll be Anemo for sure. They're also great at the field they occupy, again, in a totally unassuming way : most of the time, they don't act the part - Venti is notorious for hiding his Barbatos identity, Kazuha is the best samurai by a mile, Sayu is very competent in her field when she bothers, Faruzan and Xianyun are mechanisms experts, Chasca is one of the best hunters, Jean as an Acting Grandmaster is examplary, Xiao has survived countless battles and isn't named "Conqueror of Demons" for nothing, Lan Yan a reknown rottin worker and so on. This doesn't mean they never make mistakes, but they seem to be quick-thinkers with a side of instinctive understanding of things, and very tuned-in with their environment. Anemo wielders generally seem to seek something for their goal, be it the meaning of their lives (Wanderer, Xiao, Chasca), growing up (Sayu), the beauty of nature (Kazuha), justice (Heizou), and general answers to pragmatic or metaphorical problems they encounter.
So, not necessarily happy go-luckies quirky hippies, but seekers of personal answers to deal with a form of loss, they're often the ones asking the right questions and tackling problems in unorthodox ways - wandering but without being truly lost, trusting their gut-feeling and inventivity.
2 - GEO - STONE/EARTH - Morax/Zhongli, in Liyue : Contracts Everyone generally thinking of earth and stone would see something stubborn, brutish, immovable, inflexible but also extremely dependable and tough. And while to Zhongli himself, contracts and principles are set in stone, Geo often regroups people who actually do have strong principles that they will never cross, loyalty, being unabashedly themselves and always getting back up no matter how many times they fell : Noëlle's dream is to be a Knight and she will never give up on her goal. Itto outright refuses to be anybody but himself, and that's without taking in the whole Crimson Oni rules business. Zhongli will also never back out of his word (even if it tears him apart inside), Kachina and Navia are determination incarnate no matter how many times they fail. Yun Jin also prefers her non-stage personality and isn't unafraid to share her likes and dislikes with people she bonds with, Xilonen is very committed to her Name Engraver job and the whole Nepecha/Nechca business shows her strong morals. Same for Gorou, Chiori and Ningguang who no matter what will always stick to their guns to the end, refusing to falsify themselves for people.
Geo doesn't mean physically strong all the time, but it does have a certain degree of mental fortitude, and also very few of them deal with self-deprecation (Kachina being a bit of an outlier), generally liking who they are and being unapologetic about it : Kachina's story shows her coming to terms with that part of her, taking confidence in herself, and Yun Jin's problems are external given that she's asked to be more regal and haughty than she really is. They also tend to have a rather realistic grasp of what is possible and not, about themselves and others (Itto being the outlier, except even he stops fooling around when the chips are down and is actually quite capable - reflected in his gameplay when unleashing his burst, and his stories), and they tend to be a rather strong pillar in the community they're in, if not the ones doing the physical or metaphorical heavy-lifting (gang leader, Archon, Spina di Rosula leader, opera troupe star, Name Engraver, second-in-command in a platoon, Jade Chamber head, etc. Kachina even becomes a warrior in the Night Wars, and starts the Ode of Resurrection in 5.4).
So Geo isn't about brutish strength and bullheaded stubborness, but rather people knowing what they're about and sincere, determined and loyal to themselves and their loved ones. They like what they like and express very strong positive moral values that won't be deviated by anything - they are people of their word. They are people who inspire confidence, and bring things together, staying true to themselves no matter what.
3 - ELECTRO - LIGHTNING - Beelzebul/Ei, in Inazuma : Eternity Thunder and lightning are powerful, quick-flashing bursts of both light and sound, and naturally associated with speed, and either a manic temper or a rather unfriendly one. Ei is indeed very powerful, and that's without her Gnosis to begin with, but on the whole Electro users tend to be the oddball, quirky ones, a bit socially off and in their own little world, with a wild side to them that covers a more vicious streak, generally a bit of outcasts with a theme of social or physical isolation : Razor has been raised literally in the wilds and thinks of himself as a wolf, Cyno doesn't take clues that his jokes are terrible and it's worse when he explains them - and as the lead of the Sumeru police system, isn't making friends easily. Sethos, while talkative and sociable, is associated with the desert and keeps secrets to his chest, Dori is in her world of mora and not well-liked due to her stingy attitude, Ororon - outside of the whole ex-human sacrifice thing - is absolutely off-key and so is Ei when she has to learn to socialize again after centuries in her own plane, to say nothing of Fischl. Lisa would rather be in her library and like Yae Miko, both have quite the violent side when it comes out coupled with tons of vicious teasing, Kujou Sara is a literal Yokai at the margin of human society struggling to fit in, Shinobu prefers to be left alone and will get violent on those who deserve it, and the outliers might be Clorinde, Beidou and Keqing who don't seem that off, but Beidou is a pirate and while well-connected still prefers to stick to the sea and her crew, Keqing is a workaholic and Clorinde seems distant and cold until you get to know her and her circle has few friends, all three also being vicious fighters.
Generally Electro wielders are also all taken as more intimidating as their true personality is (Sethos being a bit of an outlier but still having a hidden side to himself, and Yae Miko and Lisa playing up the approachability, looping back into the "dark" side too) that shows around their trusted ones, once you get to know them - they often prove loyal friends and goofballs with their own quirks, but that wild side is never too far away and will strike fast if push comes to shove, as Electro wielders are not to be trifled with : even Ororon is willing to pull a wild move like associating with the Fatui if it means keeping his Granny and people safe. This doesn't mean they can't have friends, or aren't friendly at all, but they tend to trust a few and chose their relationships more or less wisely. They also have very enduring and unshakable loyalty, kinda like Geo, but this applies more to people of their chosing rather than to concepts or their own selves and principles - though Ei can be very stubborn in that regard.
In short, Electro wielders tend to often be solo players or one-person armies with a rather self-centered mindset, not out of egoism, but out of being able to quickly determine their path and stick to it. They tend to let more loose and willing to be more vicious if needed, but this doesn't mean they're unable to feel empathy : they just react more extremely to threats and be less fettered. They are also very efficient at what they're doing, to the point of being prodigies for some : Ei literally had a whole martial art derivating from her fighting skills, Razor is the local reference for life in the wilds and Sethos one for the desert, Ororon has extraordinary affinity for souls, Beidou is consulted by the Jade Chamber for her expertise as a navigator, Clorinde and Keqing are often decried at being the best at their work, Cyno is the top head General Mahabharata, Fischl is an unsung explorer. This just tends to hide behind their quirks.
4 - DENDRO - WOOD/PLANT - Buer/Nahida, Sumeru : Wisdom Wines, leaves, greenery, life, growth, cultivation and healing but also poison is what we generally associate with plant powers, and on that one, Dendro isn't that far off, but Nahida of course demonstrates spiritual cultivation and knowledge, plus powers over dreams. The Dendro roster as such tends to depict scholars and researchers in very specific fields (Tighnari for botany, faun and flora, Kaveh for architecture, Alhaitham in languages and as the Akademiya Scribe, Baizhu for medicine and Emilie for perfume), people with an eagerness to learn (Collei, Yaoyao, Kirara, Nahida herself) and great abilities to plan ahead (Alhaitham and Nahida again, Kinich). Sumeru's story arc also shows both the enlightening and poisonous sides of wisdom, with both general capacity to grow and learn and the Forbidden Knowledge making it all wither, making it a theme of "how far is too far" when it comes down to wisdom : should we know everything ? Will we be able to withstand it or be driven to madness ? Illness is also a recurring theme though the Eleazar (physical illness) and the madness (mental illness) said Forbidden knowledge causes, as well as the obvious "healing and poison" opposites.
Which makes Dendro wielders have a common point : an extraordinary sense of curiosity, and a will to surpass the limits. From the Archon to Kinich, the last-to-date Dendro character out, they are all motivated by a desire for discovery, and pushing themselves through hardship and limits to see what's beyond the horizon, in short, transcendance. Collei was sick with Eleazar and her tragic backstory left her uneducated, in the end managing to overcome her difficulties and illness (Tighnari is even proud at how fast and eager she's learning). Alhaitham and Kaveh both try to go beyond their (very opposite) points of view on the world to broaden their horizons, hence why they never really get rid of each other - and Kaveh had his fair share of hardships to pull through to make his masterpieces. Kirara has boundless curiosity for the human world, Yaoyao is constantly seeking improvement, Nahida never stops looking for answers and has a devouring wish to discover new things, constantly. Kinich himself is always interested in what's going on even if from the shadows, the more information the better, and he literally transcended death once. Baizhu himself wants immortality, so again pushing back the limits of death, and Tighnari is said to have made breakthroughs and also often tests poisons on himself.
Dendro characters are driven by a will to learn and question the world around them, pondering and thinking about its meanings, all while transcending whatever limits they find in their way : they aren't afraid of the unknown.
5 - HYDRO - WATER - Foçalors/Furina, Fontaine : Justice Water generally reminds of healing, gentleness and storm both, a quiet but powerful force, going with the flow and shapeless, endless change. On that last one, Hydro wielders tend to be particularly quick-on-their-feet thinkers that often can change plans smoothly and on a whim, with strategical thinking, flexibility and adaptability : Sigewinne literally changed form to be able to heal someone, Yelan passes herself to the situation as an information gatherer and fighter in the shadows with the teahouse as her cover, Childe is the first character to switch stances and weapons as part of his gameplay, picking up the bow to train with and have another weapon in his arsenal - also a Fatui Harbinger, Xinqiu as both a poet and martial artist has also shown to rarely be unable to not turn a situation to his advantage, same for Ayato or the strategist Kokomi, Mona is used to changing meanings within fate and the stars and the fickleness of astrology, Neuvillette changed over the centuries while interacting with humans and is a literal dragon having changed forms, also tailoring the trial sentences to what he deems just, Mualani goes along with everyone or almost, same with Nilou and Candace as they all can adapt very quickly, and then there's Furina, an actress who can disappear into any role, even one for 500 years, and Foçalors, who managed to even twist a prophecy to her advantage with no one catching up.
But there's another common point Hydro wielders all have : secrecy, and the power of information - what's shown and what still waits in the abyss. They all keep the truth close to their chest, the hidden part of the iceberg, the unsuspected depths. Furina and Foçalors' secret is massive. Yelan, Ayato, Kokomi, Xinqiu and Childe are, in their respective positions, all entrusted with capital and privy information (Xinqiu as the son of the Feiyn Merchant Guild head). Neuvillette as the Iudex would naturally know a lot about the affairs of Fontaine and keep it under wraps, same for Sigewinne in the Fortress of Meropide. Mona reads destiny in the stars, Candace is not just a good friend and warrior, she can also drop the nice side like a hammer and torture people if needed with a good pummeling, seen in the Sumeru arc. Mualani is a Night Ward veteran under that optimistic personality, and won't hold back even calling an Archon out. Nilou might be the outlier, but she was part of the plan in Sumeru to help Nahida and isn't unwilling to deceive if it helps things go forward.
Hydro wielders tend to generally have hidden depths, are rather strategical, and while showing great flexibility and adaptation, aren't above manipulating people, whether for bad or for the greater good, with an unsuspected difference between their spotlight personality and their background cunning.
6 - PYRO - FIRE - Haborym/Mavuika (presently), Natlan : War Of course, fire is associated with powerful, outgoing and temperamental behavior, destruction and unbridled energy, passion and all-consuming drive. Mavuika turns it a bit on its head by being way more calm than expected, and so is Diluc, who rarely shows strong emotion - same for Arlecchino. The rest tends to get classically fired up about things (Dehya, Bennett, Xiangling, Xinyan, Gaming, Amber, Yoimiya, Klee), or generally passionate about what they do (Hu Tao, Yanfei, Lyney, Chevreuse, all of the above again), because the common trait is that they all seem to have a sort of thing, a hobby leading to or part of a goal, that they almost single-mindedly pursue : law, cooking, rock music, exploring, adventuring, dance, mortuary services, magic shows, patrolling, fireworks, bomb-making, wine, mercenary work, war... in a way that is intrisinc to their lives and that they're devoted to. Even Diluc takes "retribution" to the next level, Arlecchino is entirely devoted to the House of Hearth and searing the next generation.
And if not "energic" in the classic sense of an outgoing, hyper personality, the outliers (Arlecchino, Diluc, Mavuika at times) tend to have energy in the sense of being monstrously powerful, and Pyro wielders tend to have a general appetite for life and its finer points - or what are the best points for them (seen with Mavuika and Xbalanque especially). They tend to pick things up and throw themselves into it, as it defines a big part of who they are and why they are this way - with their interests matching their personalities : Diluc seeks justice and thus will defend Mondstadt from the shadows, Arlecchino will avenge any mistreated "child" - funnily enough they are quite taken by their form of fairness and justice; Hu Tao deems that even quirky funerals are fair to the deceased's will, Mavuika refuses to sacrifice anyone outside of her own self, Dehya can't stand injustice and will solve it herself, to Yanfei and Chevreuse law is supreme yet can be followed in spirit if not letter, and the rest won't tolerate unfairness of any kind even if it means breaking the rules. They also tend to be quite helpful if needed.
Pyro wielders aren't raging, destructive wildfires out of control, but instead focused and passionate people seeking what they find just.
7 - CRYO - ICE - ?/The Tsaritsa, Snezhnaya : ? Ice, as the saying goes, is cold, and generally associated with death, indifference, loneliness, slowing down, unfeeling, piercing and numbing at the same time, silence, closed and distant yet ethereal beauty and at times downright bad. The Tsaritsa (unknown at the time of writing) is the major antagonist out to defy the Heavenly Principles while making things harder for everyone since the start of the game - pretty logic, right ? Well, that's where things get interesting : while not much is known about neither her nation or herself, there's a recurring pattern of actual loneliness and metaphorical isolation or outright ostratization with Cryo wielders, and self-depreciation. In one way or another, they are cursed, alone and/or lonely, and dislike a part of themselves for various reasons, whether they're aware of this or not. Unlike Electro wielders who are off-key within their entourage, Cryo wielders tend to resent their position in life and blame themselves for things gone wrong, or doing things detrimental to themselves.
Diona was unwittingly blessed by a pond fairy yet laments the fact that she can't find a way to make purposedly bad cocktails to fight against alcoholism no matter what she tries. Chongyun has his Yang condition, Shenhe the red threads and homicidal tendencies, Kaeya has the Kaenri'ah pupils and blames himself for the tragedy of his family with Diluc, Eula is an aristocrat hating aristocrats and her own family. Ganyu is outright a child of two worlds and afraid she'll fit in neither. Citlali resents her apparent agelessness immortality, preferring to stay alone to spare herself the pain. Layla has developped a split-personality to help her at work under the sheer stress she gets. Freminet is shy and introverted, retreating in his literal shell, due to his traumatic past, blaming himself for it. Qiqi is an outright zombie, Rosaria a mercenary that also doesn't feel belonging with the normal people, yet taking no pleasure in her night work either. Ayaka wishes she could be a normal girl and not the heir of the Kamisato clan due to all what's asked of her. The most well-adjusted are Charlotte, Mika (who often relies on others and stays aside when too shy) and Wriothesley (who's an ex-criminal having killed his foster parents and not all that proud of the fact) - in fact, Charlotte is be the outlier, though ironically she does complain about her Vision (favoring an Anemo one) in-passing. Joining the "important characters even if unplayable" list is Capitano, cursed with immortality by Ronova.
A lot of them are actually rather warm and nice people once befriended, but they also tend to be seen as distant - whether they put the distance up themselves (Eula in particular, Citlali, Rosaria, Mika, Freminet, Diona), only playing friendly at first (Kaeya, Wriothesley) or due to how busy or out-of-touch they are or composed they have to be (Charlotte who runs everywhere, Ayaka, Ganyu, Shenhe, Chongyun, Qiqi, Layla) - fitting the cold side. The very common point is that they're misunderstood by people seeing them from afar until they get to genuinely become close-bonded. But indifferent and evil they're most certainly not.
Maybe this will apply to the Tsaritsa ? Who knows.

making boothill flustered? EASY! just have sayu write a song, dedicated to him and his actions to fight for what was taken away from him. <3
Fluster My Muse ★ @kuratm ★ Accepting
"Ahah... y'sure my deeds are worth singin' about?" Hat was tipped down to conceal his face along with his head lowered a tad, yet there was still a visible smile. Bloodshed, brutality, all caution and care thrown to the wind in the name of a brazen vengeance. Yes, it was what the scoundrels at the IPC deserved. But... recalling the exact reasons why such acts were being done... A loving, human reason he'd resorted to drastic measures. Reasons that could easily be forgotten in the rush of relentless fury. In that case, maybe, he could understand why.
Thus, he shrugged, ultimately revealing his face to her. "Let me know when you're done with writin' it. Might wanna give it a listen."
