[Cassidy had been drawn to the Pizzaplex for a number of reasons; finding her killer, righting her wrongs, etcetera, etcetera. She had every reason to be here, but the one that she didn't anticipate...was Sammy. Her former suitmate, a kid she'd been unwillingly tethered to, a crybaby she'd outwardly mocked, and yet...she considered him her best friend in the whole world. Somewhere along the way -- no, in the midst of her vengeance -- they'd been separated...and she'd never quite recovered from the loss.]

[Now, however, she could see his face -- actually see him -- and hear his voice all over again. "Help me." It sounded just like him, the crybaby she'd known for years; there was no way this was fake, right? Still -- she was prepared for anything. She made sure she was well-equipped, in case this was a trap, like she suspected it might be. Sure, she might have been "resurrected," but that felt like a fluke. What were the chances that Sammy had been revived, too? Wasn't it weird enough to happen to her??]

[And so Cassidy wandered into the ruins of the Pizzaplex, flashlight in-hand, keeping a keen eye out for her old friend. She was here for a number of reasons, sure -- but...it'd be a lie to say that she wasn't holding out hope. Even if he was in danger, she was confident that she could help...she'd retained enough power to save him.]

[The lobby was in shambles, but it was quiet -- inactive. A few of the security bots lied in twitching, broken piles, meaning she was free to call out to him...for now. Maybe it wasn't the wisest idea, but she was capable.]
