Crimson - Headcanon Time!
This guy is fucking lethal. A toxic person shaped by a toxic environment. Whatever redeemable qualities he possesses are in internal lockdown and if acted upon will likely not manifest in any healthy way.
Re: Moxxie Crimson is a mob boss (from literal Hell) with one son. Better believe he’s been keeping close track on him from the time he went to jail. He could have dug his claws in earlier but it seemed like his soft son was finally in an environment he could thrive in. However, Mr. Overly Controlling really hates that thing he does, going topside where Crimson can’t reach him. He was ripe to be manipulated by the Moxxie’s ex into that stupid con.
If Moxxie would have been miserable in the new marriage, Crimson would have 100% killed the husband. He did not know that Moxxie was abandoned during the heist - he was told a different story, but he filed away this new information under ‘This Bitch Needs To Die’. Because in his own awful way, Crimson loves his soft, dumb son (he doesn’t understand him, or why wallpapering his whole damn house with dildos isn’t as supportive as he thinks it is)
Re: Moxxie’s mom ... he loved her, once. But the line between love and hate, and all that - he came to despise her for coddling their son and turning him into a weak demon who would never have what it takes to survive, much less lead the family. He did not murder her, though. She disappeared, and as much resources as he had, he was never able to find her. His strongest theory is that she left the family and he’s not self-aware enough to realize what a fucking nightmare he can be as a partner (or father). The shoe in the water? That was him tossing a whole bunch of her belongings in there (possibly in a bitter, drunken rage). Other times he wonders if his enemies got her - and then he makes sure a few more of them dies.
Re: Millie WELL! He’d die before admitting that she impressed him. But taking out a fair number of his boys was no small feat, and Moxxie actually seems to be in good hands. Sooo maybe he mutters ‘a fine dame’ into his whiskey but that’s nobody’s business.
Re: domestic abuse Guess who was (firmly!) taught that a slap was an acceptable (nay recommended!) way to end an argument? This guy! His pop beat the absolute crap out of both him and his mom at the slightest provocation, so in Crimson’s eyes he’s being reasonable. Surely the occasional slap or backhand is a mild way to put his foot down? Well. Horseshit, of course, but nobody has challenged this view so here we are.

🍍 Crim and Blitzo!
Dirty fruit asks || accepting What is your muse secretly turned on by?
Crimson Let me preface this by underlining what a fucking nightmare of a person Crim is. He’s secretly turned on by fear and vulnerability. He wouldn’t admit it and would probably give a standard answer about ‘a beautiful dame’, but secretly he likes it a little bit too much when he’s got someone at his mercy. I mean if he was about to murder you he wouldn’t make it weird or anything, but he’d come home hard.
Blitzo Gentleness and care. He’ll talk a big game about tits and ass and big dicks - and sure, that does it for him - but somebody showing actual genuine care? For him? That’s so rare it’s like jerking off to a unicorn.

Rethinking some headcanons about Crimson
((DO NOT REBLOG sorry, I’ve had some trouble with personal blogs lately))
I assumed he murdered his wife based on two specific things:
1. Them continuously disagreeing on how to raise Moxxie, i.e. Crimson seeming to want to desensitize Moxxie to violence and death at an early age, while his wife obviously didn’t. 2. The shoe in the water.
Since Crimson is a ruthless mobster and what we’ve seen of his wife are glimpses of heartwarming sweetness, it’s very tempting to believe he simply murdered her. We’re clearly meant to draw that conclusion, but it’s equally plausible that she either a) left or b) was kidnapped and murdered by enemies to the family.
Ok - I’m changing my Crimson HC to this: He did not murder his wife.
Just to be clear: Crimson is a piece of shit. But even shit has nuances and that’s how I will play him.

“lethal protection” ((Daisy for Crim? X3))
Send “lethal protection” to have my muse kill someone in order to protect your muse.
The hulking demon slumped down, luminous eyes still open in shock. A single, clean hole between his eyes was the only thing indicating his fate. Crimson slipped his gun back into his jacket and gave a sharp nod to Alessio, who arranged for the trash to be taken out.
The silence around the room was deafening and Crimson calmly lit a cigar before speaking.
"Anyone else thinkin' of putting their fuckin' hands on my wife?" Gotta nip that dumb fuckin' idea in the bud. He exhaled, watching them sharply for a moment through the lingering smoke. "Thought so. Get out."
They did so, quietly filing out. Word would spread; it fucking better. Rocky start of negotiations with the rival family but they should be grateful that he got rid of that fuckstain liability for them. Maybe he hadn't realized Daisy was his wife, but stupidity was no excuse - least of all in Hell.
Once they were alone, he turned to study his wife.
"Y'alright?"

🔪 ((Daisy for Crim. >D))
Send me 🔪 to stab my muse
He narrowly managed to raise his arm in time and the knife sliced through the sleeve of his favourite suit down to the red skin beneath.
Alive! She’s alive!
Between anger, relief and wonder, anger won and he hissed at the pain from the knife wound.
“You’re back”, he spat out, waving away Alessio as he closed in from behind, and the tall shark demon dutifully retreated into the background. “Why?” After all this time, he assumed she was dead.
