Despite her “ head shifter in charge” demeanor, Caillen is mentally and emotionally exhausted. Due to keeping a lot of heavy things in over the years ( her parents deaths, her boyfriend using and leaving her, fear of having her pride taken away from her ), she’s generally full of emotion. She really can not take a single thing on. If anyone actually dared to get close enough to hug her, she’d most likely break down in their arms.

Caillens armour is made of a combination of soft suede leather and tough, 3-4mm thick leather rather than the same metal her fathers warriors wear in battle. Although her protection is very limited, she is able to be much more flexible when on the battlefield. The fact that it allows more arm freedom helps her much more when it comes to fighting. It combines both wereability and protection. Her armour is forest green in colouring with side lacing and metal buckles on the front that can be easily adapted for her physique.  Her leg protection is split at the front and the back of the hips, making it particularly suitable for when she’s riding her horse.  Her legs are covered with a similar material that’s lighter while on her feet she wears a special pair of boots that’s completely heelless and comes up to her thigh.

Caillen is very protective of her pride. She doesn’t tolerate outsiders of any kind. Due to her prides safety being so important to her, it’s VERY rare she allows anyone to stay within their community. The only time her heart may soften is if children are involved other then that, she suggests they seek shelter elsewhere. Depending on the nature of the trespassers, Caillen can be quite cross and outright vicious. Mainly if the others intentions are ill.

Due to being left handed, Caillen always sleeps on the left side of the bed. She will never sleep on the right. This is due to her believing that it’s bad luck to sleep on the side of the bed opposite of what handed you are. Once she slept on the right side and felt nothing but negative energy the entire day. Never again did she after that.

Due to the fact that she doesn’t necessarily trust the males in her pride is one of the biggest reasons why Caillen has never pursued any of them to be her mate. Though loyal and protective, most males in the Silver Claw Pride are known for being overbearing and aggressive and in general , she just doesn’t want that headache.

Caillen is someone who truly hates clothing but only wears them because it’s looked down upon to go out without wearing anything.  Even as a child she hated clothes. Her siblings and ladies maids always had to chase her around the corridors of the castle each time it was time for her to get dressed. Ad sometimes once the were able to get her in her gowns, it was never long before she was out of them again.

Caillen has a very big appetite. So big that if ever allowed, she could possibly eat meals twice to three times her own body weight. To keep her appetite at bay she eats full meals for all three meals of the day with the occasional snacks in between. Dinner is always her biggest meal since it’s filled with the most courses. Her shifter side does play a big key role in this ( as it does to most things in her life ).

Since she was a little being, Caillen has always been the chubbiest of her siblings and peers. Compared to theirs, her weight has always been on the high side. She has never been in the correct weight range as many to most of her peers. Despite that, it never stopped her from doing anything she put her mind to.

Today, Caillen weighs roughly around 215-220IBS.  She’s thick and very solid. Although it goes above, her weight never drops below 215. Despite the active lifestyle she lives. And her Were side does have a lot to do with that.

Caillen and Elena are shaped very similarly. They both have that (near) perfect hourglass figure, only Caillens entails a few more minutes.

Growing up in a society where women have to be damn near perfect in every way, Caillens self-esteem has suffered over the years. Though beautiful in every aspect, she’s not perfect. Not in the ways many would consider her sisters to be and she’s been told that by numerous of individuals.

When suitors would come to see her, they would never be interested in her for her. But due to the fact they found the only thing she’d be useful for would be to bare a good amount of offspring. And as it kept happening, she’d get hurt more and more.

When it comes to her body, Caillen is on a never-ending rollercoaster ride. She is her own enemy. No one can tear her own self down as much as she can herself. Which is one of the many reasons why insults hardly affect her as much anymore.

As much confidence she displays one day, the next she’s in her room tearing herself a part. Between her scars from battle, her weight , while she loves it all about herself, she also hates it.  

Mainly due to the fact she knows that due to those things, no one would truly desire her out of love. And it wasn’t until sometime later after losing her fiancé did that reality really hit her. Also slightly why she’s as self-destructive as she occasionally is.

When the threats against she and her sister began, Caillen stopped sleeping in her bed and started sleeping in her living on the couch. Beneath it she sleeps with a baseball bat while under her pillow a knife. During the year and a half so far she has had only one break in. Other then anonymous letters / e-mails and dead animals left on her doorstep, there hasn’t been anything major so far.

There are approximately 450 members in Caillens pride. That includes men, women , the elderly and children. Being their leader, Caillen is without a doubt responsible for each and every one of them. While many do look up and to her when something goes wrong, there are also many who don’t truly believe in her and it’s those members who she strives everyday to prove that they can. She can be and is the leader they want and need. That she can be the leader her mother was.

When Caillen goes into heat, her body gives off phermonres that lets other were’s know that she’s ready to mate. Her scent is on the strong side . She generally smells like warm vanilla chocolate with a hint of pine. It’s a dull smell to the noses of mortals however. They may smell the vanilla.  Depending on her mood, it can be a fun time for her or she’s not up for the attention at all. It happens once a month and can last up to ten days. The only time it won’t happen is if she mates and ends up pregnant with offspring. Or if a mate claims her. In those cases her scent will change altogether.

Caillen was a cheerleader from middle school to college. She was team captain and wrote the cheers as well as created the choreography for them. It is due to this how she gained the long time rival she currently has. All her uniforms and trophies she still possesses. And although she can no longer fit into the uniforms, she still knows all of her old cheers and routines word for word, step by step.

Alternate Caillen Information:  Queen of the Pride

Caillen is 30 years old.

She’s very educated.

Her parents died in an accident 3 years ago.

Current leader soon to be ( as soon as she gets a mate ) Queen of her Pride.

Bridget is her baby sister. She’s VERY protective of her. She’s also Caillens assistant ( she has no other siblings in this verse ).  

Once a party girl, Caillen is now a serious shifter who cares about nothing but the safety and well being of her Pride. Though she will never be the leader her mother was, she strives to be just as good.

She speaks English ( so no accent in this verse ).

She’s very no nonsense and takes shit from no one. Not even members of her own Pride. She has no problem letting individuals know who the real boss is.

Her and her lioness still have trouble seeing eye to eye. Eight times out of ten her lioness always wins.

Currently in a dispute with a rival pack over ownership of her Pride. Due to her parents originally not believing they could ever have offspring, they promised their pride to another. Now Caillen is left to clean up the mess and it’s not going well.
