This is set around July/August. Harry is doing rehearsals for tour in London.

Clutching my phone as I stepped outside, I looked down at the map app and patted my pockets to make sure I had my keys and the key for Gemma's place before closing the door.

It was a short five-minute walk and I had directions should it should be fine. I could do this. If I saw someone I was just going to keep walking and not freeze up. Just walk over there, get the mail, check that the automatic cat food dispenser was working, fill up the water fountain with water, play with the cat for a bit, and water the plants. Easy.

Putting my mask on, I started walking while constantly checking the map on my phone and double-checking with the streets signs as I passed them. Spotting a group of girls walking on the sidewalk heading my way, I could feel my heart starting to pound as I glanced over to the other side of the street.

Breathing quickly, I clenched my fists and looked up the street before quickly crossing over. My hand was shaking slightly as I brought up my phone to look at the map to refocus and calm myself. Gemma's place was just a few more blocks ahead. I was so close. I could do this.

Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath before letting it out slowly. Stepping out onto the street to cross back over, I only had a small second to tense up as I heard someone yell.

"Oh my god, why did you step into the road you fucking cunt?" Someone screamed as I looked up, looking around a little dazed. "Watch where you're fucking going! Can't just step out into the road!"

I tensed up as I realized that the screaming man was screaming at me, I was lying on the pavement, and my arm hurt. Really hurt actually.

Sitting up, I could feel myself starting to hyperventilate as I saw that the group of girls from before was all around me, the man on the bicycle was still screaming and there were a few other people who had stopped to look as well.

"Whoa! Easy, take it easy! The ambulance is coming alright?" one of the girls said as I tried to push myself up, grunting in pain.

"Listen, you're bleeding from the head. They're telling me you should stay as still as possible," she said while holding the phone to her ear.

Phone. Patting my pockets, I looked around for it. I needed my phone. I needed the map so I could get to Gemma's place. Whimpering as I ignored what the girl had told me earlier, I got up on my feet and closed my eyes as I got very dizzy.

Shaking my head, I stumbled over to my phone and bent down to get it but ended up falling over. Catching myself on my arms, I let out a little cry as my arm hurt even more. Crying, I closed my eyes as I bit my lip hard to try and stop myself from sobbing loudly. I was so stupid. I never should've gone outside, I should've known better. Too stupid to even walk alone for a few minutes.

Hearing the sirens of the ambulance getting closer and closer, I sat down on my bum and cradled my arm close to my chest. I wanted to go home. I wanted my mum.

"She hasn't really said anything since it happened, I don't know if she's like deaf or something," the girl said as she hung up the phone and spoke to the paramedics.

"Hey, love, you seem to have had a little accident," one of the paramedics said as he kneeled down next to me.

I wiped my eyes and bit down on my lip as I pulled my legs close and looked down.

"I'm Rupert, I have to ask do you have any symptoms of covid or are you currently sick with covid?" he asked.

I gave a tiny little shake of my head as I sniffled.

"Alright, that's good, thank you. Now I see you have a cut on your forehead and some scrapes on your cheek. Is there anywhere else you're hurt?" he asked as he looked me over.

I moved my hand a few inches out while trying to breathe as normally as possible.

"Your arm hurts?" Rupert asked before gently taking it in his hands and looking it over.

Flinching as he moved my wrist, I pulled it back to my chest.

"Sorry, love. I think we're just going to have you come inside the ambulance and take a drive to the hospital alright? Get your head checked out and probably take an x-ray of your arm. Is there anyone you'd like to call?" Rupert asked.

Letting out a sob, I unlocked my phone and found mum's contact before holding the phone out to him.

"You want me to call? Is that your mum?" he asked as he glanced at the screen.

I held out the phone for him more, putting it closer to him.

Rupert took the phone and stood up as he called. In the meantime, the other paramedic came over and helped me up on my feet and into the ambulance. Taking a seat on the bed, I sat motionless as the lady started cleaning up the wound on my head.

"I see, yeah, no that should be fine," Rupert said as he came inside the ambulance and closed the door behind him. "I'm going to put you on speaker for a bit,"

"Hey, sweetheart, you alright? I heard you've been in an accident. I'm going to take the train down okay? Come see you as soon as I can," Mum said over speakerphone.

Letting out a loud sob, I took the phone and put it on facetime, crying even harder as I saw her.

#Home. Home# I signed jerkily as I winched in pain from moving my hand as I looked at her.

"You have to get checked out at the hospital first okay? Then you can go home, and in 3 -4 hours I'll be there. Keep your phone with you and I'll text you to check up on you but you have to go with Rupert and the lady to the hospital now," mum said as she walked around. "I love you," mum said before hanging up.

Whimpering, I put my arm close as I let Rupert guide me to sit back on the gurney and have him put the seat belts on before he took a seat in the seat next to the bed. "We're going to St. Thomas hospital, the drive should take about 30 minutes. You comfortable y/n?" Rupert asked as he put his seat belt on and signaled for the lady to start driving.

I just closed my eyes and continued crying gently. I just wanted to go home.

"This is y/n Styles, 22 years old. She has selective mutism and does speak with Makaton and some BSL. Pedestrian vs bicycle accident, she was the pedestrian. Has a cut on her forehead left side, some scrapes on her cheek, left arm is hurting as well but no deformities that we can see. Has been given no pain medication, mother says she has no allergies," Rupert explained as I was rolled into the A&E. "Witnesses on the scene said she stumbled while standing up, seemed a little dazed and supposedly shaking her head,"

Digging my nails into my palm, I was so tense everything hurt and I was so tired, I just wanted to go home already. As soon as I had a moment alone, I was out of here and jumping in a taxi.

"Hi, y/n, I'm Rhys, I'm one of the A&E consultants here, I'll be looking after you today," One of the doctors said as I was wheeled into a cubicle and we stopped moving about.

I clutched my phone and brought my feet up - trying to be as small as possible.

"I know this is a little overwhelming and I'll try to limit the number of people in here as best I can alright? The first thing we're going to do is look at that cut on your head. Are you feeling any dizziness or nausea at all?" Rhys asked as he put some gloves on.

I gripped my phone tightly and stared down at my hand.

"Okay, can we clear everyone except Nikki, and let's close the curtain," Rhys ordered. There was a lot of noise and chatter as people cleared out.

"It's just me and one of the nurses now, we're going to take off the bandage on your head and have a look. If you need a break you can raise a hand," Rhys said while nodding at the nurse and taking a step back.

Tensing up, I held my breath and closed my eyes - moving back as far as I could on the bed I was on. I want to go home. I want to leave. Please just let me go; I screamed in my head - begging for it to come out but of course it didn't.

"Excuse me, Rhys? Can I see you outside for a minute?" one of the nurses asked as he came back into my cubicle.

"Sure," Rhys smiled. "I'll be right back," he said as he got up and walked outside, the nurse leaving with him. Glancing around, I pushed off the thing little blanket they'd put on me and swung my legs off the hospital bed. Walking over to the other side of the room, I carefully grabbed the curtain and started pulling it to the side - getting ready to sneak off.

"Where you going?" I heard at the other side of the room. Whipping my head to the side to look, I teared up all over again as I saw Harry standing there with the doctor. Letting out a sob, I walked over to him quickly. #Home. Home. Home# I signed urgently before pulling on his arm. #Please. Home# I signed when he shook his head.

"We can go home when the doctor says it's okay. Come sit on the bed with me," Harry said as he put his arm around my shoulders and started leading me over. "The doctor is going to let me stay with you as much as possible so you won't be on your own,"

I sat back down on the bed and wiped my eyes with the sleeve of my jumper. My mask was probably soaked from all the crying I'd been doing.

"Y/N, I'd really like to have a look at the cut on your head now. Are you feeling dizzy or nauseous?" Rhys asked as he came over.

I bit my lip and tensed up as he came closer. Harry put his hand around me. "Yes or no, kiddo," Harry whispered.

#No# I signed, closing my eyes as Rhys started taking off the bandage.

"You promise?" Harry asked as he started digging through his little handbag with his free hand.

#Yes# I told him, flinching as Rhys prodded close to my wound.

"No nausea or dizziness," Harry said as he handed me a little pop it toy.

"That's good. It's stopped bleeding on its own and the cut doesn't look deep so there's no need for stitches, I think four or five strips should close it up nicely," Rhys said as he threw away the bloody bandages and his gloves.

I wasn't really listening, just holding the pop it in my hand, alternating between popping the bubbles and shaking it in my hand.

"Now let's take a look at your hand," Rhys sanitized his hands and came back over.

"Y/N," Harry nudged me.

I whimpered and pulled my left hand closer to my chest. #Going to hurt!# I signed before picking up the pop it again.

"She's saying it's going to hurt," Harry spoke for me.

"Does it hurt when you're just resting it now?" Rhys asked.

Of course, it does, you idiot, I thought to myself as I shook the pop it toy.

"Hey, listen and answer, please," Harry said a little stern.

Whimpering, I signed a quick yes.

"Yes, it hurts just resting it," Harry said as he looked up at Rhys.

"Okay, can you try wiggling your fingers and making a fist for me?" Rhys asked, keeping a close eye on my hand.

Clutching the pop it toy tightly, I looked down on my arm as I tried to wiggle my fingers. Letting out a little cry, I pressed close to Harry. #No. No.# I signed with my good hand.

"Thank you, y/n, that was very good. I do think we should get an x-ray to check if there is a break, it could be just a really bad sprain though. I'm going to get one of the nurses to come back in and take care of the wound as well and someone will be with you shortly to take you up to x-ray," Rhys sanitized his hands again.

"Thank you," Harry told him as he gave him a little wave. He rubbed my back before standing up. "You want to lie down a bit? Get some rest?" he asked as he grabbed the blanket and shook it out.

I nodded and sat back. #Mum coming on train# I signed as best as I could when he put the blanket over me.

Harry smiled. "She is, she called me and asked me to come here and check on you," he reached out and took my mask off before throwing it away. "Let's get you a little cleaned up. Still some blood on your face," Harry started digging through his little bag again, pulling up a little bottle of water and some kleenex.

#You work. Sorry, # I signed, feeling very guilty over taking him away from work so close to his tour starting.

"It's okay. You were in an accident. Of course, I'm going to come check on you," Harry said as he wet a tissue and started cleaning off the blood that was left.

I tried to relax as he cleaned me up, popping the bubbles on the pop it.

"There we go, that's much better," Harry said as he dug through his bag again, pulling up a new mask before putting it on me.

#Magic mum bag# I signed. #M,A,R,Y P,O,P,P,I,N,S# I chuckled.

"Heyy, it's very handy! And look at all the things I needed and used just now," Harry protested as he poked me in the leg. "Love this bag," he said as he slung it over his shoulder and did a pose.

Giggling, I pretended to take a picture of him.

"It looks good right?" Harry asked as he put the bag down on the bed.

I shook my head, no.

"What?! You're a filthy liar!" Harry gasped as poked me in the leg again.

Looking up as the curtains were drawn, I tensed up and shuffled back - quickly grabbing for my pop it.

"Let's get your cut all taken care off and then I'll get a porter to take you upstairs to x-ray," a nurse said as she came in. "Have you been offered any pain relief?" she asked as she started prepping.

"No, she hasn't no," Harry replied.

"How about some paracetamol then? It'll help with the pain in your arm a bit," the nurse told us.

#Yes# I signed as Harry looked at me.

Once I'd taken the medicine, I leaned back and clutched on to Harry's hand while keeping my eyes closed. Soon they'd have to let me go home right?

"Have you had a cast before?" the doctor, Rhys, asked me as he and a new nurse started pulling things out of drawers.

"No, never," Harry replied while rubbing my back.

I was breathing quickly as I sat as far away from them on the bed as possible. My hand was fucking broken and now I was going to get stuck in a cast for god knows how long. I was never leaving my flat again.

"Hey," Harry said softly as he cupped my face. "Remember to breathe, you're safe," his face was close to mine. "Going to put your cast on and then we can go home. Just have to stay a little bit more,"

I whimpered and shook my head. #Finished. Done. Home now#

"After the cast is on and done, we can go home. Your arm is going to hurt a lot more if you don't put it on and you'll have to come back and even though Dr. Rhys has been very lovely - we don't want to see him again do we?" Harry said lightly.

I shook my head again.

"No offense," Harry added as he looked over at him.

"No offense taken," Rhys chuckled. "Should we give it a go?" he asked as everything was ready.

Harry nodded and looked back at me. I looked at him terrified and exhausted. Crying quietly as they put the cast on, I didn't look over at them once.

"And you're all done. Let's give it ten minutes to dry properly and then you're free to go," Rhys said as he formed the cast with his hands a bit before letting it go and standing up.

Finally looking over, I wiped my face and watched as he put some sort of lotion or cream all over it. It didn't go up as high as I thought or what it felt like when they were working on it.

"I'll write you a prescription for some paracetamol for the pain and set you up for a check-up appointment with the fracture department in a few weeks to make sure everything is going okay. Some pain, discomfort, and itching is normal. Do not stick anything down the cast to scratch it. If it gets very painful, red, or swollen you should contact your doctor or a&e," Rhys explained before checking the time.

"It was nice meeting you both, hopefully, I won't be seeing you anytime soon again," Rhys said as he looked at us both.

"Thank you for letting me come in, appreciate it. And thanks for everything," Harry said as he stood up and gave him a nod.

"No problem at all. Y/N, I hope you feel better soon, take care," Rhys waved goodbye and I looked up at him and gave him the tiniest of waves with my fingers.

"You ready to go home?" Harry asked as he turned to look at me.

I nodded and quickly jumped off the bed, cradling my arm to my chest - holding the pop it out for Harry.

"You keep it, I've got another one in my bag," he replied as he picked up said bag and put it over his shoulder. "Hey, you did really good. You were so brave. I'm very proud of you," he said as he came over and pulled me into a hug.

Closing my eyes, I leaned on him as I enjoyed his hug for a bit before pulling back. #Home now# I signed clumsily with my cast on.

"Yeah, come on. Let's get you home. Mum is waiting for you," Harry said as he took my hand and started leading the way - saying thank you and bye to all the nurses who had been with us throughout the day.

"Good morning," Rhys greeted the nurses as he walked into the A&E.

"Oh my god, Rhys, have you heard?!" one of the nurses asked as she rushed over to him.

Rhys shook his head. "Heard what?" he asked as he looked at her.

"There's been a huge donation to the hospital and the A&E! And the donor thanked you in their donations! I wonder who it could be?! Also, they've sent sandwiches and cakes - really fancy ones!" the nurse gushed.

Rhys frowned and looked at her clueless before a small smile spread on his face under his mask.

"Do you know who it is? Well go on, tell us!" the nurse said excitedly.

"No idea. I am going to grab one of them sandwiches though," he said before leaving the nurse behind as he headed to the breakroom.

Halfway—2021.

Two Filipino indies lead the Letterboxd Top 25 at the 2021 halfway point, as the coronavirus pandemic continues to shake—and reshape—the film industry. Jack Moulton and Gemma Gracewood take stock.

Cleaners, Glenn Barit’s photocopied, hand-colored, stop-motion feature about high schoolers in the northern Philippines city of Tuguegarao, is the highest-rated 2021 film on Letterboxd at the halfway point of the year, with a weighted average of 4.3 out of 5 stars. Ode to Nothing, by Barit’s fellow countrywoman Dwein Baltazar, is in second place, and Shaka King’s two-time Oscar-winner Judas and the Black Messiah rounds out the top three.

Last year was a transition year in many ways: for the world, a pandemic-led move away from cinema screenings to at-home virtual theaters and streaming-first releases; for Letterboxd, a move away from US-led release dates in our annual calculations. This has opened the way for notable films from around the world to be included on our lists far sooner than their oft-delayed American releases (which had resulted in, for example, Brazil’s Bacurau not making the 2019 Letterboxd Year in Review).

Both of these factors help to explain why we have two Filipino independent features leading our midway Top 25. “Cleaners and Ode to Nothing are exactly the kind of small Filipino films that would have struggled to get national distribution in theaters in the before times, despite the buzz that they garnered,” writes Manila-based film critic Philbert Dy in his companion essay to the Top 25, in which he explains how the Philippines’ particularly long and harsh Covid lockdown has “led to smaller, quirkier films being made accessible to more Filipinos, whose consumption of cinema were once beholden to the whims of conglomerate cinema owners”.

When we shared the good news with him, a delighted Cleaners director Glenn Barit specifically shouted out his nation’s film lovers: “It is a testament to a vibrant Filipino film community still actively watching and supporting films of our own. Especially with a film like ours set in a small city far from the capital, it is amazing to read in reviews that it resonates with a lot of people (sometimes even outside our country).”

From this year forward, our mid-year rankings include films that have been released in any country, with at least a limited theatrical, streaming or video-on-demand run, and a minimum of 1,000 views on Letterboxd. These new rules allow us to celebrate the love for Katie Found’s lesbian romance My First Summer—released in Australia in March—without having to wait for the US to catch up. It joins indie highlight Shiva Baby, Michael Rianda’s animated hit The Mitchells vs The Machines and Heidi Ewing’s swooning romance, I Carry You With Me, on the Top 25 in putting young, queer characters on the screen.

As expected, many films on the list have suffered pandemic delays. We use premiere dates to mark the year of record for each film, so A Quiet Place Part II will always be attached to its March 2020 red-carpet screening, despite the fourteen-month hibernation that followed. This is Not a Burial, It’s a Resurrection by Mosotho director Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese screened at 2019’s Venice Film Festival and had a very long festival run until Mubi picked it up for streaming in the UK this year. The film’s lead, Mary Twala, passed away a year ago, July 4, 2020 (see her also in Beyoncé’s Black is King). Gabriela Cowperthwaite’s Our Friend—one of the eight women-directed films on the list—went to TIFF, London, and AFI before being released this January without screening once in 2020.

More than half of our Top 25 films are directed by BIPOC directors, nearly a dozen of whom are of Asian descent, illuminating a key benefit of the new eligibility system. Challenging the US for the most represented country is India with five films in the list, taking advantage of Amazon’s distribution deal and creating greater accessibility for Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam-language films at home and abroad.

Also among the Asian directors making the list are legends Tsai Ming-liang and Sion Sono. Tsai’s Days recently received a limited run in Spain (it will be brought to the US by Grasshopper Films this August), while Sono’s Red Post Post on Escher Street had a quick VOD run in February courtesy of Japan Society Film.

Produced in the US and directed by Japanese-Brazilian Edson Oda, Nine Days qualifies due to an exclusive run at the Singapore arthouse theater The Projector in May—it’ll be released in the US later this month. Finally, Asian American director Jon M. Chu makes the list with his adaptation of Quiara Alegría Hudes and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s In the Heights. We are also happy to see a couple of Letterboxd members in the halfway 25: Cleaners’ Barit and Chad Hartigan (Little Fish). The Top 25 is, of course, solely made up of narrative feature-length films. On the documentary front, Flee is currently the highest-rated non-fiction feature of 2021. Neon is expected to release the film in the US for an awards run later this year, but it’s eligible now due to a release earlier this month in director Jonas Poher Rasmussen’s homeland of Denmark.

Fellow Sundance Film Festival winner Summer of Soul (or… When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) is currently the year’s highest-rated documentary in general, but was 48 hours shy of eligibility for the halfway list, releasing in theaters and on Hulu on July 2. The runners-up are: Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In, directed by the notorious football manager’s son; David Attenborough’s The Year Earth Changed, directed by Tom Beard; and rock-docs TINA and (in his doc-directing debut) Edgar Wright’s The Sparks Brothers.

In other categories, It’s a Sin is the highest-rated narrative miniseries at the midway point, Can’t Get You Out of Our Head by Adam Curtis is the highest-rated documentary miniseries, Bo Burnham: Inside is the highest-rated comedy special, Blackpink: The Show is the highest-rated music film, Save Ralph is the highest-rated animated short film, and Four Roads, by Alice Rohrwacher, is the highest-rated live-action short film.

With Cannes underway and more festivals to come, it is still a long road to the 2021 Year in Review for these films—but given the journey most of them have already travelled, it is pleasing to celebrate the filmmakers’ success. Ang galing ninyong lahat!

On top of its meticulously bonkers production process, our highest-ranked film, Cleaners, had a long journey to its first theatrical distribution, and it’s far from over. The film premiered at the QCinema International Film Festival in October 2019, to raves from Filipino Letterboxd members, and it still holds a firm grasp on its high rating nearly two years later. Ultimately, the first non-fest release for Cleaners occurred when Singapore’s Asian Film Archive screened it for a week in April, thus qualifying the film for our 2021 lists.

Ode to Nothing has been on an even longer journey. The film also debuted at the QCinema Festival, but in 2018, and finally arrived on local streaming services iWantTFC and KTX.PH earlier this year.

Being celebrated by their countryfolk on Letterboxd is one thing, but how can those of us outside the Philippines see these top two films? Perhaps we need to give our local distributors a nudge. As Cleaners director Barit explains: “We are a team of three first-time filmmakers and producers. We are still learning the ropes of film distribution and marketing—and it’s been very hard. I just want to shamelessly say that our doors are wide open for distribution and acquisition; we are not yet available on any streaming platforms locally or internationally [winks nervously].”

•••History of the Save Disney Shows campaign••• What is Save Disney Shows?

What is Save Disney Shows? A question and information that I have wanted to give you for a long time and now is a good time to explain where this page and campaign comes from.

On a Disney Wiki website there were several "documents" and information regarding the actions that fans did regarding a series, names and also information about Disney producers but I wanted to go deeper into this looking for maybe some help or information that I would work then I found the information about Save Disney Shows on a link to their page, when I saw and read all that really surprised me was that I help with Kim Possible and the WOY movement, I read everything that cost them and how next to the fandom of the Kim series Possible managed to break the old famous rule of 65 episodes which now allows 4 seasons (renewing like this), since they opened the application, viralize hashtags, share on networks. It was a long investigation, but that was how I could understand ... that there is a way to make Star continue and really work. Here I will summarize a little about what #SaveKimPossible did. The most successful Save Disney Shows campaign was Save Kim Possible. Disney canceled the series after its third season due to its 65-episode rule, but fans wanted more, so they organized the campaign, created a petition, a website "A Day to Save Kim Possible" and conducted electronic campaigns by email. Activists encouraged fans to contact Disney through letters and emails requesting a season 4.

The team that worked at Kim Possible helped and also encouraged fans. Nine months have passed since then of the "final" premiere before Disney gave in and on November 29, 2005, it was announced that Kim Possible would be renewed with a season 4 due to popular demand. Season 4 consisted of 22 episodes and premiered on February 10, 2007. "Once upon a time, Disney canceled Kim Possible due to his rule, but thanks to the efforts of German fans and broadcasters who wanted more episodes, Disney finally was persuaded to ask for a 4 season "It was a fan-led movement to make sure Disney Channel fans aren't ignored. For 20 years, the channel would end most of its programs in 65 episodes. When Disney tried to finish this series, fans backed off and were able to do season 4. Today Save Disney Shows runs or helps organize movements for other DC shows like Lilo & Stich and Shake it Up, Save Disney Shows is a central organization for provide contact information related to Disney and the resources needed to campaign for any Disney Channel program. Now, this was one of the very popular cases, but there is also another and it is the case of the WOY movement another series that fans wanted to continue, the SaveWOY SDS website became an information center for the campaign, providing links to the different fan projects and providing regular updates on progress and events. I also include a countdown timer that counted until the premiere of the new Wander Over Yonder episodes that led to the end. "The End of the Galaxy." The website listed the addresses of Disney executives, what fans can do to help with useful resources and different requests. To raise awareness about the SaveWOY campaign, activists approached Save Disney Shows, which played an important role in the successful SaveKimPossible campaign, asking for help and adding Wander Over Yonder to their Disney programs website that need to be saved. , Save Disney Shows responded that they would help SaveWOY but that they needed campaign leaders to step forward and create a website for the campaign and while they waited for volunteers to create and manage the website, Save Disney Shows created a small site Temporary website for SaveWOY Finally two campaign leaders stepped forward, Orbaljuice and Thefandump.

Together they created the website that was launched on June 5 and both went to work. To attract and gather followers, SaveWOY requests were established almost immediately after the announcement of Craig McCracken of the cancellation of the program on Tumblr. The request on woy from change.org created by Gemma Cummins (Peepsqueak) and Kiddoryder, managed to attract most supporters. After creating the request, the hashtag #SaveWOY was created to accompany and disseminate it through social networks.

The hashtag became popular on the blog website, Tumblr, Twitter, DevianART, YouTube, Facebook, VK and google. A draw of the Wander Over Yonder t-shirt was made on Tumblr to promote the application after it was created. This gave a great boost to the signatures and exceeded the other petitions reaching 5000 signatures in 4 days, the first 5000 supporters of the petition were marked on a map based on the country in which they lived. It served to show Disney that Wander Over Yonder had fans all over the world. Originally, the map showed the full names of supporters, but due to concerns about privacy, the names were shortened to initials. Arriving at 7,000 signatures and the gratitude of the crew, on March 13, 2016, Craig McCracken, meanwhile, tweeted encouraging and wishing good luck to fans to continue voting. On March 24, 2016, the petition reached 10,000 signatures. The petition attracted the attention of Cartoon Brew, who promoted it on his Twitter account and also from the Wander Over Yonder team. The next due milestone of 20,000 signatures was reached on May 30, 2016. The original purpose of the petition was set at 25,000 signatures that reached June 19, 2016. Upon reaching the goal, the list of signatures was sent by email. to the Disney executive. Gary Marsh.

To make sure the request arrived, it was also sent by email to the creator of WOY and the producer and supervising director, Dave Thomas, who then passed it on to Disney. The petition reached 35,000 signatures on August 12, 2016, the petition was officially delivered to Gary Marsh and Marc Buhaj in two separate flash drives on July 22, 2016. The petition is currently addressed to more than 36,000 signatures. The next goal is 50,000. Unfortunately, this program simply stayed there, since they could not get more signatures, but as you can see all these things and more is what I want to use to be able to continue with this series, several years have passed since the rule was changed to 4 seasons right? It would be time for them to renew with a season 5 at DisneyPlus, after this I contacted some of those in the Save Kim Possible and WoY movement who gave me more strategies to achieve it in addition to wishing me good luck. But it's not just what I read, but more strategies to achieve it, after reading everything and finally having a plan, I told the group and decided to make this move through a blog. Currently, Star has been added to DisneyPlus, which increases the hopes of its continuation, with more than 125,000k signatures reaching almost 126,000k. Disney is a channel that must go hand in hand with the public, if many people ask for something, they will be forced to do so because they run the risk of losing a lot, they would not only win with a rating, also with money and more rapprochement with people , Now that you know the whole process that I have come to make this movement, I ask you to please do not stay in the status of WoY, As I mentioned before, we have a good number of signatures but we still need to join, I beg you for this November 19 join us to be able to cause more impact to Disney on the popularity of the series.

And you will wonder, what to do that day? Well then I will proceed to explain the steps to be able to support the movement from now on and make November 19 create something massive!

The first step to support #SaveSVTFOE, you must sign these two requests that are addressed to The Walt Disney Company, Disney Plus and other producers and other channels. The first is so that the platform can allow 5 seasons for each series and thus open the way to achieve our goal. And the second request is for Star to continue, obviously both go hand in hand but we must get a good and large number of signatures reaching almost a million if possible.

Both requests have already been shared through instagram, twitter, facebook, whatssap, amino and now on tumblr but ... we are millions of people! so if together we can share and sign we will achieve our goal. If you have friends, colleagues, close people, you are in groups, share the requests and ask them to sign.

Now that you have signed them. I must clarify a very important point and it is that many ask the creator Daron Nefcy to continue with Star and make her 5 season but she has already clarified that if it were in her hands and it was by decision of her she would do a lot more with the series, movies , books and more seasons but it's Disney's decision ... but maybe not so much Disney's decision since we know that the channel is based on the ratings of the series and the popularity that each fandom gives it, and as explained before the fandom of Kim Possible did everything possible to achieve it, so Daron asks us to continue telling the channels that we love Star because he knows that there are possibilities to achieve it but only we can give them that and we ourselves are the ones who have what we want. Obviously I will pass captures of what she spoke on reddit to verify that it is true.

2012 was a crazy year for both the band and for Larry.

They were openly living together and we have some of the best moments. They openly hung out with each other and things were pretty good.

January

Harry was kissing Emma Ostilly (who had a boyfriend) and allegedly texted Taylor to tell her it was just a goodbye kiss between friends. Later Emma says that the pair are not dating and are just good friends. Also the next day Liam states that they aren't together as well.

22 - Wellington - Harry whispers in Louis’ ear and it appears to give Louis a boner. When Harry walks back over to his side of the couch, some people seem to think he is mouthing the words “cock up your ass” to Louis.

22 - The famous Wellington video took place after their show. Louis is clearly drunk and appears to scream “boyfriend” at Harry, then possibly go in for a kiss. Harry grabs him and spins him around so he can see the fans watching and filming them from across the street.

31 – Second denial: Much music interview

2 – Mojo in the Morning Interview with Harry and Zayn: Zayn denies there is any secret homosexuality in the band. Harry remains silent.

2 - Kissing on stage – Louis “forgets” where Harry’s ear is and covers both their mouths with his hand while “whispering.” Also, Harry walks up and appears to give Louis a quick peck at one point in the evening.

16- Ed Sheeran did the show where he said Harry was "taken" and answered "innit?" when a fan said "By Louis."

27- Harry almost says boyfriend in an interview

Liam say the band is keeping a secret And then whispers it to Louis, who says he is involved in the secret (which implies, to me, that it’s not about the whole band.

29 - Harry walks over to Louis and pulls him back to whisper in his ear what appears to be, “You were mine.” At the very least, Louis’ reaction seems to confirm it was something similar to that.

Harry and Louis went MIA while Niall came back looking scared and confused. I’m not Sherlock or anything, but I think I can deduce the following: Niall walked in on Harry and Louis having sex. The end!

12 - One Direction is on the Late Late Show in Ireland and a lot happens:

Taylor is brought up, but Harry refuses to state that he is interested in her, dating her, talking to her, pretty much anything.

They are asked “Who is Larry Stylinson?” and Louis says, “Apparently, me and Harry are together and my girlfriend isn’t real.” This was not exactly a denial. It was a statement. The whole time Harry just sits there and grins, as per usual.

When Harry is asked if he is looking to settle down, Louis lets out a very ridiculous and obvious cough, and acts completely annoyed with the interviewer. When the interviewer says the question was a valid point, Louis turns to Zayn and says, “No it wasn’t!”

1 - the next day Harry shows up with quite a bit of white face paint matted into his hair!

27 - The interview with Barbara Walters is filmed. (It airs on December 12). Harry is asked about his dating life and older women, then Barbara Walters hints at Taylor by asking if “older” was 23. All Harry could muster up was a simple “yeah.”

But also during this interview she asks the boys if they all want to be married and have kids one day. Louis and Harry look right at each other and then shyly look away when saying that yes, they have always wanted that

30 - Sony Music Indonesia Interview: Louis looks miserable the whole time. The other boys notice. When asked what his favorite song on the album is he says, “I Loved You First” while looking at Harry, even though the song is actually titled “Loved You First.”

December

2 - Harry and Taylor go public and are photographed in Central Park together. He didn’t look miserable, but they also displayed no PDA and did not look like a couple. This was 100% set up. Paparazzi don’t hang out in Central Park. But it doesn’t end there. While getting into a car a fan asks Taylor if it is love and she says, “Yeah, looks that way!” Later that night they had dinner with Ed Sheeran as well as Harry’s mother and stepdad.

He is asked if he is happy that they got together and Louis says, “I am happy they are good friends.” Now, most people think he then says, “if that,” under his breath afterwards.

Harry is also asked about Taylor. Leave it to Harry to always downplay their relationship. After the show Taylor and Harry took a private jet together to London.

8-The boys minus Harry head to the airport. Louis appears drunk and carries around an enormous stuffed lion that we suspect was purchased for him by Harry while he was out with Taylor at FAO Schwartz.

9- Boys go to Manchester to perform at the X Factor finale. Taylor and Eleanor tag along.

11-Harry out at a pub in Cheshire with Taylor and family

12 - Harry and Taylor go to the Lake District and feed some birds. Later that evening they have dinner with Gemma, Harry’s sister.

13 - Taylor’s birthday. Harry buys her 23 cupcakes and a purse. He also takes her out for dinner.

14 - Harry drove Taylor to the airport so she could fly to Germany...

...Just in time for Harry to get to spend some quality time with Louis for his early birthday party that Harry planned (possibly arrange around Harry’s schedule?) He and Louis even wore matching shirts (in different colors).

They invited Harry’s friends and family. To LOUIS’ birthday party. Yes, they are close coworkers, etc etc. But Zayn and Niall didn’t show up, nor did their friends and families.

They wore matching shirts.

Their moms took pictures together.

They planned it on a day 10 days before Louis’ actual birthday so that Harry could be there. Bonus points for it being the day after Taylor’s actual birthday and Taylor not getting an invite.

Jay supposedly planned it, but Harry’s friends from home ended up on the guest list.

Liam came to third wheel so that it wouldn’t look quite so crazy obvious when Niall and Zayn didn’t come.

None of Eleanor’s friends or family were there. Eleanor didn’t post pictures like Harry’s friends and family posted pictures. Eleanor barely existed at the party

18-Everybody arrives in LA. Harry immediately goes to the tattoo parlour to get a large ship done on his left arm. Taylor shows up and they go to her house afterwards.

19- Harry and Taylor papped together outside her house

19 - Less than 24 hours later Louis gets a compass tattoo by the same artist in a matching style. He, once again, looked overjoyed while at the tattoo shop.

19--Also Harry spends time with Taylor’s family in L.A.

20 - X Factor USA finale red carpet:

Harry is asked about Taylor. When the interviewer asks Harry what his thoughts on “Haylor” are Louis says, “I’d love to know!” Harry simply says, “I dunno.” Louis then follows this comment up with, “It is what it is!” (which he’d later get tattooed on his chest) and they look at each other and laugh. In the same interview Harry is questioned about his new ship tattoo and he says, “It’s just a boat.” In another interview on the red carpet he is asked if what he has with Taylor is a relationship and he says, “maybe, yeah.”

21 - Harry and Taylor go on a ski trip to Utah with Taylor’s family.

22 - Still on the ski trip. Harry and Taylor have a snowmobile accident this day and Taylor’s song Out of the Woods is most likely about this. Harry has to get stitches on his chin.

23 - Harry tweets about the accident.

24 - Harry returns home covering his chin, but a friend later posts a picture of his bandage.

24 - Louis' birthday!!! Harry finally shows up at Heathrow around 11am. Harry tweets about watching Lady and the Tramp. Later, Harry out partying in HC. Louis MIA but apparently not in Doncaster

25- a friend of Harry's tweets “last Christmas I gave you my heart but the very next day you said you were gay… Taylor Swift's next single.

31 - Harry is back in the U.S. Taylor performs at Dick Clark’s Rockin New Year’s Eve, but instead of attending that to support his girlfriend, Harry goes to a Coldplay and Jay-Z He later meets up with Taylor just in time to watch the ball drop together and publicly be seen kissing. Harry then went and spent the night at her hotel again.

How did Louis spend his New Year’s Eve? Drunk in a photo booth.

January 2013

3- Taylor and Harry are spotted and take pictures with fans in Gorda, British Virgin Islands.

4 - Harry breaks up with Taylor and she is spotted sitting on a boat, waiting to leave. Harry stays and looks pretty happy

5- Taylor tweets … 'til you put me down.

10 - Taylor went back into the studio on this day and recorded All You Had To Do Was Stay, reportedly about Harry.

Taylor also attends The People’s Choice Awards with what looks like a hickey under her boob. This is 8 days after the break up and that is a long time for a hickey to last… also she showed it off on purpose, which is kind of disgusting.

12 - One Direction goes to Ghana for Red Nose Day. Harry and Louis run around, playing football/soccer and holding hands.

23- Liam, Harry, Niall and Louis at Arsenal football game w James Corden.

25 - Harry and Louis both spotted at Westfield, shopping and then at the movies.

Just a few thoughts

The beginning of 2012 we have a lot of Larry being a couple.

Before Taylor, we have 4 attempts to deny Larry

The boys were growing in popularity, especially in the US.

Suddenly Harry and Louis are not allowed to have a much public interaction. Suddenly Harry "moves out" even though they both slip up constantly.

Louis was miserable the whole time Harry and Taylor were together. After the break up, he is back to normal.

I just cannot with this Pick You Up leak and the lyrics!

In August 2023, we get a leaked song written for Fine Line (so late 2018/early 2019).

And he’s written about the ONE effectively confirmed hookup in London, the VS 2014 after party, which took place Dec 2-3, 2014, and where they were spotted leaving (with members of her security team) within minutes of each other.

And he’s letting us know he got booty called, and he went knowing full well what was happening.

And in case we have any doubt, he specifically tells us the morning is the day of Gemma’s birthday (December 3) and he almost didn’t get her cake because of said booty call.

I just. You do not leave in that absurdly specific detail unless you want it known. You do not. As of the Ratatatatata wasn’t enough of a hint.

So much for the “all songs on FL were for CR” arguments. She was not the only one he was thinking of while writing for this album!

Majority view

Well, he got there in the end. After a ruthlessly efficient Cabinet clear-out and creation, it took rather longer for new prime minister, Boris Johnson, to form the rest of his government. We charted all of it in our live blog, here.

Next week, we'll take a closer look at some of the key players in government data in the new administration - secretary of state at DCMS, Nicky Morgan; junior DCMS minister, Matt Warman; minister for the Cabinet Office, Oliver Dowden; and senior Number 10 adviser, Dominic Cummings. They may find this list of previous government data reports, and the joint civil society letter about the National Data Strategy, helpful introductions.

This week, though, the new PM has to deal with his already slender Commons majority thinning further, as the Lib Dems won the Brecon and Radnorshire by-election. But just how slender is that working majority? Most media outlets are, understandably, reporting it's down to one - but here's Aron on why three might be a more useful number (and how it might fall further).

It's a useful reminder of a few things: that politics is often about learning to count; that context is key; and that things that should be simple to count - see also ministerial resignations and government defeats - are often much more complicated than they seem...
