Christmas in Mystic Falls. It truly was the most wonderful time of the year. Or so the residents of the little town would have you think. The town gets totally transformed; no piece of the town was untouched. Trees were covered in lights, buildings decorated with Santas and snowflakes. And this is no different for the Lily Inn. Once Thanksgiving is over, the lights went up, the trees were decorated, and it went from a cozy inn to a winter wonderland.

Stefan loved Christmas. It was always his favorite time of year. He loved seeing the lights, experiencing the atmosphere, just living in the Christmas cheer. And working at the Inn with his family only made it better. Well, for the most part. His brother would sometimes come home from wherever he was and ruin the holiday but most times, he spent his time away. For that, Stefan was incredibly thankful.

He was driving back to the Inn from the coffee shop when he spotted a very out of place car with a very out of place, very beautiful woman standing just outside it. He pulled over, parking and hopped out. "Everything okay?" Clearly, it wasn't, but he wasn't going to be rude and just start looking over her car.
