4. What would your Tav’s romance scenes look like? How many would they have?

oh you've activated my brainworms. be warned

i've put a lot of thought into what esper would be like as a companion and a big part of that is how they behave when romanced. broadly speaking, they react to affection with confusion and a little bit of flattered shyness -- they may be sharp and scary, but they fluster easily under sincere gentle attention, since they're a lot more comfortable with mindgames and violence and punishment. so if you're a fan of skittish and aggressive previously-abused shelter animals that turn into cuddlebugs with patience and love (with a side order of kink) esper is the romance for you.

i have a scene in mind that could be either a romance or a friendship scene, in the same vein as gale's magic lesson, where you walk up on them tuning and playing their lyre in the way they like to do when they make camp for the night. you sit next to them and listen, ask a few questions about what they're doing, and they invite you to join them. you can play to a normal jam session or a more romantic duet, and if you don't pass the skill check, they make you stop because you're ruining the vibe, but invite you to stay anyway because they do like your company. if you pass the skill check they tell you that music is one of the few things they feel they remember, and that it feels nostalgic to get to play with someone again. if you flirt with them, they flirt back, but shy away from physical contact and apologize.

miscellaneous conversations with a romanced esper include flirtatious banter and eventually an honest conversation about their urges and why they're scared of touch. they admit after high enough approval that they don't have full control of their homicidal urges (and they admit to killing alfira here if they did, so you can also banish them from the party, whee) and they don't know why. but if you're in a romance they really do want to touch you. you can kiss them, along with a promise that you're not afraid of them. this is the point where the romance actually Begins. esper is a little nervous, but happy that nothing bad happened. they do promise to do everything they can to keep you safe.

act 2 contains the scene where you tie them up regardless of whether you're romancing esper. if they haven't already admitted to it, this is where they admit to killing alfira before getting you to tie them up, but the way i see it, if you're romancing them, by now your approval is high enough that they've already told you. HOWEVER. before this scene happens in a romance you can probably also have had a sex scene where you tie them up so they don't lose control, in which case they will make a self-effacing joke about how it's not as fun as last time. esper also refuses to be untied for a while after the durge episode is over. they explain themself to the best degree they can manage with their fragmented memory, taking accountability and describing how it feels to be taken over by the urges, including that feeding them feels like their destiny, that it's what they're Supposed to be, that anything else is a distraction. you can either encourage them to pursue that destiny or promise to help them be rid of the urges forever, because you see them as more than just a monster.

after the act 2 sex/romance scene i briefly mentioned before, esper is more comfortable with the classic bg3 "can i kiss you" option and it makes them do a happy wiggle. if you break up with them they'll admit that they're a bit sad about it but not disappointed, and add that even if romance is off the table they've devoted their heart to your service and safety for as long as you'll have them. if not romanced, esper's energy as a companion is very Upstanding Professional Second In Command/Right Hand Arm Man.

act 3 diverges depending on whether you get esper to embrace or reject bhaal and the urges:

if you persuade them to embrace bhaal, they try to break up with you because they cite romance as a distraction, but if you then persuade them to stay with you, you can do some kind of nasty durge sex with them untied that involves a lot of biting and clawing and muttering about how your blood is singing to them. after it's over and you're still alive (but in the family guy death pose presumably) they note that you've been spared, and they interpret this as a promise that your reward for helping them see their true path to serve bhaal is to die last on the altar to bhaal before they sacrifice themself.

if you help them reject bhaal and they get brought back withers-style, there's another romance-or-friendship scene afterward where you find them on the rooftop of the elfsong. esper says they have more of their memories back, and that they remember coming up here to look out over the city to stalk their prey, but now they're here just watching people living their lives. here you play i spy, basically, telling stories about the people you see going about their business in baldur's gate. eventually they turn to you and say with full earnestness that they see their guiding light, the reason they can be up here breathing the free air. you can hug them here (or kiss them in a romance, but you can also hug them in a romance), which makes them just start laughing with relief.

and then after that scene in a romance they go up to you the next day with a gift. they've made you a necklace. they admit they're not much of a craftsperson, that their skills lie in music and murder and the body, that they've never been much of anything else. but they add that you've inspired them to try doing things they're bad at, to see what new kind of person they can be, because there's more to life than doing what you were Meant to do. the necklace doesn't do anything and it's kind of artless, and esper will not be even slightly offended if you point out that it's ugly or if you don't wear it, but you Can equip it if you want to.

a sidenote, but esper is a companion who's down for polyamoury. they'll say no thanks to joining in things like the brothel foursome until they don't have to worry about their urges anymore, and they'll joke about you being into dangerous partners if you hook up with The Bear (but will express that it's probably best if you limit your 'partners who transform into monsters when touched' to one at a time until they resolve the whole bhaal situation). they will judge you for hooking up with mizora but only because they find her tacky and you can do better, really.

we talk everyday still even though we live all over the world and we talk about nearly everything except fandom nowadays and they've helped me survive living day to day through some of the worst moments of my life. i don't know what i'd do if i didn't have them in my life

last night, i had a bit of a shame spiral thinking about all the time energy money i devoted to the 1d fandom. i felt embarrassed for being so loud about something that ended in so much disappointment. it wasn't fun and i know it was probably triggered by being involved in some discussions i hadn't been in so long

Gives nose/forehead kisses: Tristan gives the most forehead kisses. He also likes to receive them, which, as far as he's concerned, is the one downside to being taller than his boyfriends. Nose kisses are more Ryo and Joey's thing - Joey loves how Ryo's nose scrunches up when he kisses it, 🥰.

Gets jealous the most: 🤔 I'm not sure. We see Joey and Tristan getting jealous over Mai and Serenity respectively in the anime, but they've been best friends since they were 13(?), so I don't think they'd be like that with each other; they trust each other too much. I can see Ryo sometimes feeling a bit insecure in the beginning because Joey and Tristan have been so close for so long while he was kind of an outsider in the Nerd Herd until he was freed from YB.

Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive: Joey. Tristan is the only one of them who drinks, and Ryo gets anxious behind the wheel.

Takes care of the others on sick days: Okay, I have Thoughts on this, but I've taken long enough to answer this, so short version: they all do, but Tristan's the best at it. (I'll post the Thoughts separately when I can! :])

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: Joey - he loves the beach, and not even the pier Duel could ruin swimming for him. (He just doesn't dive too deep.)

Gives unprompted massages: Usually Joey, usually to Tristan because he LOVES it.

Drives/rides shotgun: Tristan drives; the passenger seat goes to whoever wants it, but Ryo's polite and usually asks Joey if he wants to sit there first.

Brings the other lunch at work: Tristan. Ryo makes the lunches when he can, but Joey's hours are weird sometimes.

Has the better parental relationship: Definitely Tristan. Things are still a bit tense between him and his dad, but as long as they avoid the subject of the factory, they can still have a conversation without too much awkwardness.

Embarrassingly drunk dancer: Tristan. Joey dances embarrassingly anyway, but if Tristan's drunk (which doesn't happen too often), he'll be more focused on keeping an eye on him.

Still cries watching Titanic: I *want* to say Tristan, but I can also kind of see him being on Team Just-Get-On-The-Door-You-Idiot. Although there is a deleted scene that points out that the door couldn't support the weight of two people, so I guess it could depend on whether he knows about that. Either way, Tristan cries over movies all the time. Joey's almost as bad, but that doesn't stop him from poking fun at him over it, although they have an unspoken understanding that certain topics are off-limits.

Firmly believes in couples costumes: RYO. I HC that he taught himself to sew for this kind of purpose. He starts suggesting ideas months in advance, and puts a lot of work into getting every detail perfect.

Makes the other eat breakfast: Ryo will never forget to eat again if Joey and Tristan can help it.

Remembers anniversaries: With two people in the household who have memory problems, things like that definitely get written down, but Tristan remembers anyway.

Brings up having kids: Tristan does first, but he doesn't want to pressure the other two about it, so once he finds out that they aren't sure yet, he lets the subject go. When they do decide to have kids, it's Joey who suggests it - he takes the longest to come around to the idea, but he does.

i'm going to shift for now. days particular to the weekend, i'm either going to be here fully or not at all! like said in my rules prior, i don't work a lot, but someone like me ( aka... who struggles both mentally and physically with obstacles ) it's very hard to keep up socially. i run a two post a day queue to make this blog at least look alive, but i pause it when i show obvious signs of no rp activity.

i'm also kind being a silly little goober rn going to my revisiting my natural habitat as well ( jcink & gaiaonline ) so i'm just awful at using my blog... socially. XD

i know memes/prompts are common here, i really want to get into that too. but i just simply cannot right now. i prefer threading, ongoing plots. not saying i won't reblog them or send them ever !!! i just - it won't be super often for a bit, aha. but i'm absolutely okay with doing dumb little drabbles, etc ... !!!

❔ - i figured out i was starlo kin cause of. well its a really long story BUT the short of it is i finished playing undertale yellow and he was my favorite and my friends started joking about killing him in their runs to give me psychic damage and it made me feel personally attacked for some indescribable reason and i ended up ranting about it hours after they had stopped and then they were like "hey you might be fictionkin" and i was like "oh that would. make so much sense." and then that night as i was falling asleep i re-experienced a memory of the part of the pacifist route where ceroba flung me against the wall so hard that i passed out when i was trying to stop her from fighting clover. and that basically solidified it for me.

🤝 - uhhhh mostly just neurodivergent if im gonna be honest. so mental/psychological i think?? i dunno, im still very new to this stuff. i talk about it like it is a past life even though i dont believe in past lives, and im pretty sure its just because i am extremely neurodivergent that i kin starlo.

👕 - COWBOYS!!!!!!!! i get so much happiness from wearing the blue scarf i crocheted recently cause it reminds me of my blue bandana i wore! also overalls any generally any farm-like clothing. makes me so happy and like i am in the right body :D

💥 - magic, like every monster!!! it feels so incredibly weird to not have magic and not be able to summon a magic floating gun wherever i want or to just sit still and summon a small, harmless bullet to juggle around in my hands when i get bored.

🔮 - not really cause i didnt kin starlo until after i completed the pacifist route, and any other memory i got came after i finished that route, unfortunately. unless in canon i was in fact transmasc. if it gets confirmed that i was transmasc in canon then that would be one thing cause the game is so new that i wouldnt be surprised if anything new gets confirmed about me lol.

👥 - yes!!!!!!!!!!! i have several sourcemates and i have one canonmate!!! my beloved friend @yellowclovers who found out he was clover kin literally minutes after i found out i was starlo kin. and then turns out we end up having memories that line up with each other. cause he remembers having awoken after the ut pacifist route and when going out to search for one of their friends, they found out via martlet that i had died and that ceroba was also still dead. which lines up with my memories cause i come from flawed pacifist in which i died not long after wishing clover good riddance. we are still very good friends though and i forgive him for everything now that i played the game myself and understand the pressure they were put under. it wasnt really their fault, after all, as much as it sucked.

Okay. Update.

I have not expected for the last 48 hours to be as they were.

I have over a thousand new followers. My inbox is full. I have received the information that I now have the entire local theatre company's prop department at my disposal, apparently. Members of my film club have apparently seen my post on Reddit. This is, for lack of a better word, fucking insane.

So here's what's gonna happen now: I am writing the script for the scene and it'll probably be done by next week. I'll most likely start filming in early December, depending on other stuff because I'm involved in a minimum of three other film projects, one of which has a deadline.

I am gonna film Katya's death scene, because tbh I don't have anyone who looks like Bob de Niro or Al Pacino at my disposal atm, but I do have someone blonde and someone willing to do Sofia.

In the meantime, thank you for your overwhelming support and I don't need any help in terms of script writing or anything anymore.

Hi I've been looking at your Mewtwo stuff for awhile now and I can't help but notice how nuanced and mature your takes are, especially on Giovanni who can be likened to a narcissistic abuser. Compared to most, ahem "artists" on here, who simply treat Mewtwo as a meme or housepet. You really seem to respect him, and I can't wait to see the comic on how you met him. I also admire how unapologetic you are to self ship with him.

I treat Mewtwo differently than most because I have a certain reverence for him. He was truly my guiding light at times where I didn't even want to exist any more. He inspires me to keep going and honestly I wouldn't even be having a job in biological research now if it wasn't for him. Considering how much impact he has had on my life so far, I could never just treat him as some sort of stupid meme or a housepet. Frankly, treating him as such is insulting. He is too intelligent to be a housepet, and he knows how to take care of not only himself, but also those close to him (I mean, look at him, and how he is depicted in official media as a HEALER. Always taking care of wounded and abandoned Pokémon,whether it's his clones, or wild Pokemon). I don't like the stereotypes surrounding him in the Fandom.

I don't think that many people are able to recognize Giovanni as a narcissist because they lack the experience of being raised by one, like me and my brother have been (we have real, lived experience of that, which is hard to understand for anyone who had supportive and normal parents). Or these people still have the naive belief that everyone deep down has a good core. They are oblivious to the fact that we have psychopaths among us who truly only care about themselves and who cannot be redeemed. A mafia boss who created a living weapon like Mewtwo to serve in his plan of world domination certainly counts as a fictional depiction of such psychopaths. Team Rocket has plundered Pokémon and tortured them and sold them for financial gain. But Fandom still gives Giovanni a pass somehow just because he is "sexy".

I was raised by a narcissist mother. I never felt truly seen by her, and she told me she made me to be her slave. So how else was I able to interpret Giovanni but as a narcissist, when he said the same to Mewtwo in the movie? "You were made to serve me." No wonder I took Mewtwo as my role model. I remember wishing I had actual psychic powers too, it would have made escaping so much easier. Instead I thought of him when I needed strength.

Oh man, when it comes to Mewtwo and shipping... I don't have any hesitation here. I have always loved Mewtwo, so why should I pretend that I don't? He was always important to me in real life as well, after all. Or why should I make up some Pokémon OC and use that as a proxy to ship with Mewtwo? Lakota/mewtwoandme actually admitted to me in a DM that this is what Gwen the Gardevoir is, BTW. She was too afraid to ship herself with Mewtwo because she worried that people will judge her for it and that it is seen as "icky" to selfship as herself. I am kind of disappointed of that, but it is her comic and story to tell. I am not really a fan of the Gardevoir x Mewtwo, or Mew x Mewtwo or Lucario x Mewtwo ships in general, they are too cliché for my liking and I don't see how movie1!Mewtwo would ever fall in love with them. However, I ADORE honest selfshippers of Mewtwo or Newtwo! I always get curious about their stories and how they fell in love with them!

Anyway, I hope you will enjoy my comic! Even though I gotta apologize that it is taking so long to finish - I am still swamped with work IRL, but will officially be free starting from the 16th, so hopefully I will get way more done then. Though I am wondering if to post on my blog here or make an entirely new blog? ah this is dangerous omg okay oh gosh okay what do i choose okay so this is a very random thing to rant about, but it's fan-related so. but i lowkey hate in chatfics how writers always give characters different contact names. more often than not, i look at them and say "they would never choose that name" / "they would never name that person that" / "they would throw a fit if their name got changed to that" and like. it's just so irritating. i honestly think most blorbos would just call each other by their names in their contacts like. and if you're going to give them "silly" names (bc most times they just... aren't even funny to me personally), they don't even specify who is who! most of the time, i see them say something MAYBE at either the beginning or end of the first chapter and then usually never again even if the characters start changing each other's names! so it's just hard to keep up. i actually love chatfics and think they're such a cool idea and a great creative writing exercise, but they HAVE to be done right because they can go poorly/ooc SO quickly. not all characters use correct grammar, but some do. some will use capitalization and punctuation while others don't. some characters will use emojis or send memes and recite memes, OTHERS WON'T and you NEED to be able to figure this stuff out. also it is SO unrealistic for all the characters to constantly trauma dump because half these characters refuse to "show weakness" or don't know How to talk to people about what's wrong. oH AND ALSO not all characters are so unhinged in chatfics my God the way people write certain characters in how they text and what they text is so icky because it's just too unhinged we gotta stop giving characters that treatment ugh uh anyways also kenji is underused in the show and underrated by fans. there should be more kenji content. also unpopular opinion, but kenji is a more interesting character than chuuya and how does chuuya have like... 20k more fics in the chuuya tag than kenji has in his own tag? nothing against chuuya - i like him! i do! but why is he treated more like a main character than kenji:( maybe i'm just sad bc kenji is my favorite and barely has ANY content. there are SO few kenji-centric fics out there and a lot of them also are kenji & chuuya friendship which... admittedly, i LOVE but i feel like there's more kenji & chuuya than kenji & the ada members which is so sad??? also he deserves better in the show! smh he wasn't even in the s5 trailer (neither were junichiro and naomi ugh so upset about that) like pls. let everyone treat kenji more like an important member of the team bC HE IS😭

Reylo would probably be the main one! It's so widely hated, and like,,, honestly for what? It has so many mainstream equivalents and none of them are villainized to the same extent.

It's absolutely got problematic elements but the main sins are 'romanticizing villain actions,' 'woman does emotional labor,' and 'enemies to lovers who were actually enemies'.

Which should all be discussed but I genuinely don't think any of those should be 'morally irredeemable' dealbreakers compared to other media, and I remember a LOT of people getting REAL mad at Reylo shippers.

7.) Ship the antis in your fandom like, but you think is hella problematic?

Oooh, hmmmm- these don't necessarily mean that I don't support them, but here's two takes that I don't often see in anti spaces

-People who write Toriel/Asgore are doing Toriel a massive disservice and ignoring her agency -There are Hannibal and Death Note antis???? Somehow???? Will/Hannibal and L/Light are both SUCH dubious pairings if you wanna judge morality through fictional dynamics

I’m actually new to the Tumblr RP community and it’s sort of confusing to take in at first so I’d love some advice, thank you so much in advance for anything!

I’m not really sure where to start or how to search for roleplays, appropriately make or tag them, or terms like “muses”? I’ve seen it around, but I’m never sure what it means.

My only experience in getting involved in the roleplay community on other platforms would be through things like “communities” or basically a big user ground labeled “something RP”, but there’s nothing like that here. How would I reach out / extend my reach?

Oh!! Well first and foremost, welcome to the RP side of Tumblr! It's been a few years since I've been active in the roleplay community myself, so I encourage you to take my advice with a grain of salt as I'm sure things have changed!

That being said, starting into the rp community can be a daunting task for sure. Navigating tagging, links, etc is an acquired skill, but certainly not impossible! Just remember to be patient with yourself and allow a few dink-ups along the way.

Now, let me preface this by saying that the tagging system here is dogshit! Completely terrible! But using appropriate tags for your roleplay is still extremely important, as it helps other individuals either find you or avoid you! Lengthy roleplays can be a bit of an eyesore on the dash if you aren't involved in the community so using #rp or #roleplay each time will help the filters out.

I strongly recommend checking out this blog for more relevant roleplay etiquette, which also has some pretty great information on the tagging system! The individual running it has stepped down though, so it's just for perusing and not an active help blog!

Now, muses! Muses are simply a source of inspiration. In the sense of roleplay, they are the chosen character the roleplayer is using in the RP. Fictional or nonfictional, original or established, anything can be your source of inspiration. A similar term thrown around is a face claim. A picture of the muse to display, very simply, what the character looks like. That can get messy if you aren't careful, as you want to make sure you're crediting the artist or not claiming pictures of someone else's original work under the guise of 'inspiration'. Some use photos of celebrities or stock images, not as official 'this is what my character looks like' but more as a 'this is the ballpark of vibes I'm going for'.

Remember, if you want to have a specific picture for your muse, commission someone to make it for you, or make it yourself! The RP community can be fantastic for exploring other hobbies, depending on what kind of flavor you want to implement! I've seen people make comics, paper crafts, or customized photography for whatever their scene requires! I've even been a part of an immersive horror rp that went on for months as a real-time mystery.

To get yourself out there, I HIGHLY recommend fandom first. It might be a bit controversial, but having a fandom oc or character will start you in an established universe and provide the basics of familiarizing yourself with roleplay. From there, you can expand universes and begin interacting with other non-fandom characters!

And how would you interact with them? Roleplay memes/ask games are a great source, those huge lists of prompts with numbers next to them? Yeah those are fantastic for getting started. Just choose a few of them at a time and start writing! Just don't over exert yourself! If you aren't getting any replies or interaction, that doesn't reflect on your ability by any means. Just have patience and write for your OWN enjoyment.

You can also send prompts to other RP blogs! People usually love reblogging those big lists so if you have a few folks in mind that you'd like to start roleplaying with, shoot them an ask!

Anyways, I hope you can glean what you need from this response! If there are any specifics you'd like to know about, I'll always be here. I wish you best of luck with establishing yourself within our roleplay community, and once again, welcome!!

A/N: sorry if this isn't really like you wanted I just got reallyyy carried away lol still I hope you enjoy srry my brain didn't want to be funny apparently

First year anniversary at the RFA, a chaotic celebration

You didn't think that much time had passed since you joined this organisation, and although you definetely put your marks here and there and knew what you were doing, everything still felt as good as new.

So let's just say that when you saw everything they prepared, you forgot what blinking was. For such a long time that when you remembered, you had to blink as fast as lightning to make up for the previous lack of the cleaning that your eyes desperately needed.

And did I mention how much your eyes were widening? Saeyoung even whispered in yoosung's ear that you looked like you came from a meme and they giggled about it for a while.

But how could you not be surprised by the sight that was in front of you?

You thought this would just be a casual occasion for all of you to meet and discuss casualties about the next party, however this was a bit more.

First off, what was supposed to be the meeting table was hidden by a big blanket, which when pulled revealed seemingly homemade and pretty well done food, except for a few burned parts here and there,which just proved this was really made by RFA members and not by some aliens your boyfriend somehow contacted (or by Jumin's employees, but you liked the alien option better).

And you were right, they were indeed home-made, and each member clearly remembers how troublesome making them was, the burned ones still being better than the ones they didn't end up showing you.

You see, when yoosung suggested that the food would be home-made, everybody agreed; thinking he'd be the one making it.

But when he started giving everyone a list of what each of them needed to make, that's when problems started arising.

Even after some of the world's most heated negociation, each member had at least two things to cook, and Jaehee decided that they'd cook in the same place, to prevent any buildings from burning (thanks Jaehee, if you didn't suggest it then half the RFA would probably be dead by now).

And so, when the first cooking day arrived, no one was mentally prepared for what was going to happen...

"Jumin, you're going to have to use your own hands for this" said Zen, trying to mock Jumin for his non-existent cooking skills when he, was not any better.

"Why do it yourself and take risks when you can have someone qualified to do so do it? You, on the other hand don't have any excuse for your lack of skills." Jumin coldly responded, in his tone that has a talent to get on Zen's nerves.

"I do you stupid trustfundkid-"

"FIGHT!FIGHT!FIGHT!" Zen was cut by Saeyoung's loud cheering, who managed to get both of the rivals' anger to be directed towards him, pretty impressive but wether or not it's in a good way is up for you to decide; but he definetely didn't think so since they had stopped fighting against eachother to start sending death glares towards the poor Saeyoung.

This lasted a long time. The pressure from the menacing glares making everyone shut up, even those who had no implication in the situation whatsoever.

"Uh so uh a-anyways we should get cooking right?"Yoosung broke the silence, trying to ignore the suffocating tension of the room.

And so they started "cooking".

And by "cooking" I meant that Zen had just started microwaving stuff, Jumin was trying to pass all of his work to Jaehee, and Saeyoung just put a bag of chips on the table and called it a day (did they even read their lists??) While Yoosung was slowly losing faith in humanity; comforted by Jaehee and Saeran who knew this was bound to happen and already lost any kind of faith anyway; because how could they have some when they constantly have to deal with either Jumin or Saeyoung? Nobody should have to be put through that kind of torture.

So yup, not only where they gonna cook in the same place but also together, rip the negociators who will have to make more food than they planned to.

After a bit of thinking/rock paper scissors the RFA was divided into 2 groups.

Yoosung,Jumin and Zen in the first(yes nobody except seven thought this was a good idea but it's seven; if he wants something to happen it does).

Jaehee, Saeyoung and Saeran in the second (do I need to explain how much Saeran protested against this? But then again Saeyoung has god's power besides him).

Let's start with the first group; they were tasked to do the simpler stuff, since Saeyoung said they'd have the harder stuff because he apparently has "unbeatable cooking skills" cough cough

Anyways first task: the vanilla cake

Now, this was supposed to be simple; basically just put everything in a bowl, mix then put it in the oven. Simple enough for the RFA right?No,nothing is simple enough for the RFA.

First off, "heat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 4)"

Now, do you expect these people to know how to count? Jk, they do, they just can't read. You see, Yoosung had left Jumin and Zen alone to do that while he greased the cake mold. The error. Of couuurse they wanted to do better than the other, but how exactly can you preheat an oven better? Well you can't. At least they can't. Since they fought about whether to put it on the third or fifth mark. They were supposed to put it on the fourth mark. But why was that may you ask?

Zen thought that putting it higher thought the cake would just be ready faster, and Jumin thought that they should just wait a bit longer for it to cook because it would make it better quality???Don't question their logics...

So yup, Yoosung ended up letting them fight and sneakily putting it back on fourth mark once the fight was done.

Anyways, second step: putting everything in a bowl and mixing!

Margarine: check

Caster sugar: check

Table filled with sugar because Zen did it: check

Eggs: check....?

"WAIT NO JUMIN YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO CRACK THEM!!"

Yoosung had screamed so loudly that the other group was laughing and especially saeyoung who was already mocking Jumin for it, while he was taking a mental note to remember that the eggs needed to be cracked.

Anyways, after taking three whole eggs out of the bowl, all three of them took one and a mental competition of fastest egg cracking started. Nobody would admit it though because Jumin and Zen wouldn't be that childish they are serious people.Totally no mental competition. Yes they are lying to themselves

Of course, Yoosung won because of experience but the real competition was not here, dont act like you don't know.

Zen was cracking all of the eggs so fast and none of them were done right, the amount of food waste was horrendous, all while Jumin was taking what seemed like an hour. To crack one egg.Yikes.

Eventually, Jumin cracked his egg and Zen finally succeeded in perfect sync; just like soulmates jkjkjkjk or maybe not

Next were self raising flour, baking powder and vanilla extract, all which had half on the table, but at least there were some in the bowl!

Now, the recipe said a "pinch" of salt. Thats not precise enough for Zen and Jumin, so they may have ended putting a whole tablespoon of salt... Yoosung had given up on saving the cake at this point...

But everything was in the bowl, next mixing!

Jumin was supposed to do it at first, but he was so slow that Zen took the spoon out of his hands and started mixing too fast and too much... but at least it's mixed!

They poured the mix into the mold, and put in the oven... now they just needed to wait 45-50minutes until it's done.

Now Zen wanted to take it out at 20mins already, so Yoosung made them cook something else while waiting, which ended up in them taking it out a bit too late; hence the burnt parts.

But what happened in the second group during that time may you ask?

Let me tell you: they were tasked with making banana muffins with chocolate chips. Wasn't this way too hard for the RFA may you ask? Well... yes and no.

First off, they just had to pour the flour, sugar, yeast and vanilla sugar into a bowl.

Well they did so, but Jaehee not being there since she had to melt the butter as letting one of the twins near a microwave is a very bad idea.Half of the ingredients were not measured since that's what Saeyoung did, and he was pretending that his hands were weighing scales, just let him believe it at this point. The other half was surprisingly well done by Saeran, he looked at peace during the progress... but did end up fighting with Saeyoung afterwards of course!

Now, Saeyoung was basically forcing Saeran to mix with him, and Saeran was not happy but they did, and Saeran would never said it but he found it fun. He found Saeyoung's bs fun! Hoorayy!

Jaehee came back with the butter, having no idea of the mess that was in the mix, and added the butter into it.

After more mixing (done by Jaehee this time), it still didn't look like it was supposed to... but whatever onto the next step!

They were supposed to have a sand like texture, they had a very solid one

Next beat the egg and the milk together and then pour it over the last preparation.

Now, Saeran may have at first been confused as to how you were supposed to punch a liquid, but Saeyoung had stopped him from punching the eggs, showing him that they must crack them (he totally didn't learn that because of the other group he always knew that of couuurse).

Jaehee knowing how this was going, pulled out the whisk and showed them how it was supposed to be used and making sure not to let them get their hands on it, we never know with these two, especially the one with eye problems.

After Saeran decided not to bother to tell them they forgot to punch the mix, the mix was ready!

Now, they just had to crush the 3bananas, so one per person.

Jaehee's was not surprisingly; done as supposed to. Oh do I wish I could say this about the others...

You see, since Saeran wasn't able to express all of his anger by punching the eggs (and the milk, somehow) he mayy have crushed the banana a bit too strongly; it was almost a gaz because of all the heat that his rage produced...

And Saeyoung? Well... Saeyoung is Saeyoung. He didn't want to crush the banana. Why? Because bananas have feelings too, duh.

"The poor bananas!This is torture! I won't tolerate this behavior!"

After some more arguing, Saeyoung put his whole banana in the bowl without hurting it one bit! #bananashaverightstoo

Then, they put the chocolate chips into the mix, not without Saeyoung forcing Saeran to eat some, after what they both proceeded to eat half the bag... what can I say, the choi twins sure are torturing Jaehee I guess? Poor baby girl

Then, they just had to put in the oven (which Jaehee did by the way, would you trust the twins around an oven?I wouldn't.)

They had to wait minimum 15 minutes, they waited only 14minutes because they were too excited (and by they I mean Saeyoung) but overall, it seemed edible!Yahoo~! Let's partay tonight☆☆☆

This continued on for a few more recipies, making the sight you were witnessing

But what impressed you the most was what was just above your heads, the ceiling was filled with banners, congratulating you for your first year here (Only cut by Jaehee, since the others either couldn't be trusted around a pair of scissors or were not precise enough for her liking) Each member had one with their heart favorite color, and it was clearly handwritten by them. Jaehee's was satisfyingly well done, Yoosung was badly written but you saw he tried, the multiple ink smudges were what gave it away, but still it was rather cute and he added a smiling face at the end.

Jumin's was written like... well like it was a computer who did it (if you discard the little red pen marks from Saeyoung that is) but you knew he did it himself.

Zen's was average, except the little winking face at the end who was completely crossed out by Saeyoung's red pen (deserveed).

Now, Saeran's banner was... only half made by Saeran since Saeyoung desperately wanted to help. But the part Saeran had written was actually pretty good, except the slight shaking he must have had while writing since the letters were shaking too (or, as Saeyoung thought, the letters just felt menaced by the greatness of the twins!).

Now, onto Saeyoung's part. It was the longest out of all of them, and probably wouldn't make sense for anyone but the two of you but it did. It was written in all of the world's languages, binary; and of course, small bad drawings. "Oh god could that man be cute," you thought.

But before you could continue looking around, Saeyoung was pushing for you to open his gift but you couldn't since it was locked by a code.

You instantly knew what to try.

And everybody except Saeyoung watched in disbelief as you instantly started typing "love" in binary, and it worked.

The gift opened itself automatically, only to reveal a little cat robot, an upgrade of the first one.

"It's the wife of the first one! They are now a happy couple, just like us!"

Man did you like being a part of the RFA.

we already know this but your friendship with seojun mostly consisted of bickering and messing around. compliments disguised as insults (because they were less embarrassing that way), i-bet-i-could-finish-this-first's (then winner gets a wish), pranks, etc. laughing til your stomachs hurt. lots of fun tbh. the kind that got you kicked out of cinemas or made old couples that passed by wish they were young again. your camera roll would pretty much be filled with all of these goofy moments you liked to go through whenever you needed a laugh.

seojun loved being annoying. would take advantage of his height, steal things from your grasp and hold them out of reach… always had random urges to tease you or push you over the edge especially if you were engrossed in something else which always. ended in him getting his ass beat but he’d be giggling through it whilst you’re trying to keep a straight face :-))

hanging out at his house!! yours wasn’t the best place to be in so it was always his. sharing a bowl of ramen, watching tv, or just lounging in the living room - you always made yourself at home. the desk in the corner was your study spot and if you were tired after school sometimes you'd fall asleep right there or if you were stubborn he'd drag you to the couch himself. then you'd always wake up with a blanket over you and sometimes a stuffed animal he claimed was his sister's tucked between your arms.

sometimes you'd wake up way past dinner and his mom would already be home... seojun didn’t like ruining your slumber even though you found it embarrassing whenever you overslept. but his family didn't mind plus the dark wasn't a problem since your house wasn’t far and he was there to walk you home anyway. (his mom made sure he did.)

seojun sometimes snapped photos of you asleep to make fun of you with ("wow, is this really you? i… wow. how do you look so angelic when you sleep? here - look, you almost got me foole—mpffh!") or make memes out of but tbh he did it cause he thought you looked cute. (though he wouldn’t admit that even to himself.)

reading stuff out loud and asking him questions randomly while you were studying on your own so he'd also remember them. nine times out of ten he answered with something dumb (remember when he thought spy and mafia were the same thing. or when he said visage meant visual age lol) and sometimes his confidence would be convincing enough that you end up questioning what you thought you already knew (“no that’s n—wait a minute, is it…?”) and scrambling for your notes again. but surprisingly?? you found that this was how most of the terms stuck with you. which helped you ace your exams in the end.

‘are you awake?’ 'what are you up to?' texts at night. or calls, if seojun was bored out of his mind. you're a terrible replier, most of the time you couldn't be bothered, but if it was him you could spend hours in bed just talking about random things or sending each other funny, relatable stuff (probably tiktoks) until you fell asleep. though there were still times when not even him could get in the way of your alone time and he respected that.

also, little things that showed you how much seojun cared like, him carrying your bag if you had too much stuff, always opening the bag of chips or. bottled water before handing it to you, shielding your face from the sun if you fell asleep on the bus, standing in the way so you didn't get crushed if the ride was too crowded (it took a lot of strength sometimes), texting you to wait for him if you were to go alone somewhere at night, throwing you one of his hoodies before he walked you home from his house in case you got cold :,)

and so much of those ‘i thought you’d like this’ or ‘i thought you’d be hungry so i brought you food.’ he knew you very well. like which type of snacks you craved and when, how much sugar you liked in your drink, your favorite side dishes (if he didn’t like it that much he gave you his), your habits and pet peeves (if someone was tapping their pen too loud he’d be like “hey, could you turn that down!” or like if someone made you repeat yourself he’d go, “she said ____.” however, if it was one of those jerks you were dating he just let them piss you off and you'd even catch him snickering to himself.)

he loved the praise he always got afterwards too, like being babied by his mom or being told he was the best for remembering. literally always seeking compliments to be honest. always looked too proud of himself, would go, "aren't you lucky to have me?" just to hear you say what would i do without you? one more time.

but you also loved doing things for him. paid attention to the things he said and made mental notes to do him these favors he never really asked you for. if you’d gone out of your way to do something for him you'd spare him the details of your efforts so he didn’t feel guilty. the happiness on his face whenever you got him something he wanted or eased his troubles always genuinely made up for it.

in the rare times you got hurt or sick, seojun dropped everything to tend to you even if it was minor. like that one time you accidentally burned your hand in his kitchen, he ran to your side faster than you could react, pulled you to the sink and took care of it as if you couldn’t ("idiot, you should've been more careful!"), or that one time you were feeling under the weather, you hadn't meant to make it a big deal, literally only mentioned it in passing plus it was late at night you didn't think he would be able to do anything but then later he was asking you to come out because he was waiting outside your gate with medicine :-(

always worrying about him because he was frequently causing trouble in and out of school and had people chasing after him but. he remained stubborn about those things :/ so you always had to take care of his bruises from fights or injuries from riding his motorcycle, help him out if the guys went looking for him, or put them in their place if you had to - you were good at making those boys shut up - and seojun would be snickering behind you while you did so.

"ah, my best friend is so cool. i raised you so well."

"don't talk to me. i'm telling your mom." rip.

being close with seojun's mom and sister!! watching shows together while folding laundry!! girls talk!! being treated like one of the family!! it felt nice to have someone look after you as if you were their own daughter considering your relationship with your own parents.

seojun always whined whenever they teamed up with you against him but, deep down, he loved seeing the three girls in his life get along so well and always watched with a fond smile.

please, if seojun wasn't there, sometimes his mom would half-jokingly call you her daughter-in-law. also probably had that as your name in her phone. (remember in the drama when she said she'd love seojun to have a girlfriend? she'd tell you that all the time.)

gowoon also usually didn't bother correcting people whenever they referred to you as seojun's girlfriend - she was tired of people in her grade asking her to set them up with him whenever they found out they were siblings anyway. (you knew all too well how irritating that could get so.)

k-dramas with the three of them in the living room and fawning over the leads. once, during one of those times seojun went like, "yeah right, he must have set the bar high for you, y/n?" and you immediately got what he meant by this sarcastic remark, sent him glares though he’d already moved on to scolding his sister on the other hand about how she was still too young to think about relationships. (they're literally one year apart, help.)

but his mom caught on and she was like, "oh yeah, how are things going between you and your boyfriend, y/n?"

after exchanging a look with seojun, who was attentive again, you said, "really good so far, he's sweet, um, he treats me so well. um, we're actually just getting to know each other..."

and then seojun muttered under his breath, "liar."

but everyone heard it, so to your satisfaction, gowoon threw at her brother one of his underwear while their mom told him to stop antagonizing and to, instead, get a girlfriend, which seojun replied to with, "mom, it's hard when everyone thinks your son is boyfriend material... i have too many admirers..."

and so that was your turn to scoff. "oh, yeah... your son seems to be getting chased after a lot these days,” seojun’s eyes widened at this, "huh, maybe they're into bad boys?”

anyway, seojun hated every single guy you got in a relationship with, for valid reasons. it never made sense why you dated that way, you were smart but always went for the most questionable men. it was disappointing - you didn’t seem like the type to treat this somehow as a game but at one point he just came to accept it as long as you didn't get your heart broken (which seemed to never happen anyway so…). though if you were dating someone there was never a time where he didn't make it obvious that he was against them.

and since he couldn’t stand these boys, you made a point never to put them in the same room together as much as you could help it just to save yourself the headache. (whether he did it on purpose or not, seojun always appeared more like the boyfriend than the real one and it just made things painfully awkward. which was sometimes the goal, tbh.)

you were in the bathroom when he’d accidentally seen a notification from your then boyfriend asking if you were free the coming weekend, so when you came out, before you could reach your phone he was like, “hey, we haven’t gone to the movies in a while. how 'bout saturday? my treat."

“your treat? um, hell yeah... oh. oh wait—”

“good. saturday then. i’m excited. saturday, OK?”

guys having a crush on you but never hitting you up because even though they knew seojun wasn't your boyfriend, they were too intimidated by him :/ (but if only they knew. that this guy was an actual softie who loved getting head rubs or falling asleep on his friend’s lap and vibed to mino and zico in his leopard underwear and kept a stuffed animal beside him every night... maybe this wouldn’t be the case.)

on the other hand, you were used to seojun’s admirers trying to get on your good side or reaching up to you to ask you for his number or what kind of chocolates he liked. or if you could set them up with him. and if seojun was dating someone you were never even able to entertain the idea of hating on them (as petty as it sounds) like he did with yours because seojun had high standards so they were all nice :/

petty arguments often ending in silent treatments because both of you refused to back down. your ‘fights’ were never so serious or bad enough to bend your friendship, neither of you ever said words to purposely hurt the other, just that you could be so stubborn sometimes.

but these things usually didn't last long, and happened rarely, most of the time the tension just disappeared naturally or ended with one of you apologizing first followed by the other. if it was too annoying to ignore, seojun's friends would take it upon themselves to have you make up. (locking you in the same room together worked 100% of the time.)

being each other’s go-to for when you couldn’t decide on stuff or needed advice on anything because you were always honest when it came to those things. questions like, which shade looked better on you? was this too expensive? which photos were instagram-worthy? (he’d be tilting his phone and all to look at each of them from every angle btw.) he also valued your opinion so most of the time he went with whatever you thought was good.

seojun was a very good listener. he was always willing to hear out all your rants and stories (even if he knew nothing about the stuff), adopted your enthusiasm when you talked about things you loved and asked questions that fueled you on, or sometimes even got mad more than you did if it was something to be angry about. he treated your problems as if they were his own and was always willing to help you out in solving them. but he also didn’t hesitate to call you out on your poor decisions or behavior if he had to. you did the same for him.

but generally you were never actually expressive when it came to the real extent of your negative feelings, like if you were hurt or deeply affected by something that happened, you didn’t show it. pissed off was the most you could let on because you felt that anything more than that could be seen as weak, which you avoided. you had this ‘but seriously it’s fine, don’t worry’ attitude that was convincing even to seojun, who was supposed to know you more than anyone, so he was shocked the first time he learned about your family situation. but this was something you needed to work on, not his. the good thing was, even if he could never tell when you were sad or anything like, he was always able to provide you with the comfort you needed just by being himself. :-)

on the other hand, if seojun wasn’t okay you’d know immediately because you’d find him zoning out and quieter than usual. usually if you asked him if there was anything wrong he’d tell you about it though sometimes reluctant, because unlike you, he was more open to talk about these things (atleast with you, he could be). whether it be advice or just an ear and emotional support, you were there to give him just exactly what he needed at the moment.

this was a friendship far from perfect, but it was definitely more than just the fun and games that met the eye. clearly one of mutual love and genuine care for each other. and the best and most enviable thing about it was that you were both lucky to have found another person you could always run to, literally trust to have your back no matter what happens... someone you could call home, as cheesy as that sounds :,)

ok, so. i drew every warrior cat! here's a long rambling sentimental reflective-type post on the blog i guess.

I started this blog when I was 15, in 2018. I was bored at a summer job, scribbled Onestar on the back of a sticker sheet, and thought "huh, there sure is a lot of Warrior Cats characters! I've seen some design blogs around, I think there's a "draw 100 cats challenge" people do, wouldn't it be fun if I gave that a try?" I had nothing going on art-wise at the moment, I was losing steam on my Pokemon webcomic and had given up askblogs a while ago, so I quickly fell into it.

Starting out was weird- I'd only read up to about Power of Three at the time, and hadn't read TPB or TNP in quite a while. I vivdly remember someone sending me a request to draw Tawnypelt about 20 cats in or so, and I genuinely couldn't remember who she even was. I think I got a request to draw Jagged Peak before I even knew DOTC existed? I wasn't working off of a specific list, and would miss certain cats out entirely due to forgetting them which frustrated me. Drawing cats was fun, and once I got to 100 eventually I found myself going "well, now what? I haven't even drawn Sorreltail, Nightstar, Appledusk, Spiderleg..." so, i kept going!

Then 2020 rolled around and lockdown hit, and I was suddenly stuck in my house with no plans, seemingly unlimited time, and a desperate need for some kind of outlet that offered escapism from the world.

Drawing Warrior Cats was something mundane and rhythmic but creative and enjoyable, and I found the aspect of looking at it as a challenge alluring, the same way I had when the goal was "100 random warrior cats". How far could I get before having to stop? I couldn't do over 1000 cats, right?

Lot has changed in my life over the course of this. I started the challenge just after leaving high school, and now I'm headed into my third year of uni. Some family's moved around, we have a cat now, I started playing video games again, my bedroom's been revamped, I met some internet friends IRL for the first time, I'm more or less publicly out as gay, all different kinds of stuff. It's fucking wild to consider that one of the biggest constants in my life these past few years has been drawing goddamn warrior cats. I've had the Warriors wiki list of characters open on my computer basically forever, and finally closing it feels like a goodbye.

So what's happening with this blog? Well, I'm not upkeeping a daily queue anymore, that's for sure. There are some cats here I KNOW I'm going to want to go back and redesign at some point though, so this isn't over! Even if I'm less active here, for now, I'm not going anywhere. I'll probably also use this for any general warriors art/posts I want to make, as well as those "send me asks" request meme thingies. those are fun.

I'm hoping to be maybe more active on my youtube now, as well as just generally experimenting with my art more. One of the biggest downsides of spending 3 years drawing fullbody flatcolours of warrior cats and not that much else is that my improvement on every ground except cat anatomy and character design has become pretty fuckin stagnant lmao. I need to make art with backgrounds and shading and non-cat characters again or i think ill explode. time to get out of this comfort zone!!

speaking of, very lucky this thing ended right at the start of Artfight. I'm @/RioBlitzle there and I try to revenge back attacks! Will probably put my energy into that for a wee while.

@daily-mario-characters might come back,, eventually but I'm not promising anything, and if I haven't learned anything from running this blog you might see me on a "drawing every pokemon" streak in a few months. it is how it is.
