Muse BIO: Arthur Barma
BIO can be found here. Arthur Barma is the ancestor of Rufus Barma, a man that became the Duke of the Barma house after the Tragedy thanks to Jack's influence. His only friend was Jack Vessalius, and thus created his part in the Tragedy.

Arthur most certainly should not believe him, but he was naive enough to believe him, at least at this point. And should Jack leave him during the party, he would probably blame himself for being too boring rather than blame Jack for going back on his word.
He was a meek person like that.
"How did you two end up being such good friends anyway? Normally she scares men off." Arthur grumbled and then set the envelope aside and made sure his bandaging of Jack's wound was stable and wouldn't come off.

"Oh! I'm so sorry, Jack! I got caught up in something else and came home a little late." Being seen out and about with Jack had definitely improved his social circle a bit, as twisted as that was. The Barma house needed all the help it could get.
In a way, they were leeching off of Jack, but Arthur was unaware of what exactly Jack was getting in return.
And of course he had no idea of the true extent of Miranda's perversions.
The woman appeared behind Jack, looking annoyed.
"Arthur, you shouldn't leave me to entertain your guests." She was a good actor, after all, when she was actually trying. "Be sure to properly apologize to Jack. You're lucky I was home."

Arthur gently took the envelope from Jack, staring at it in a lost manner before reaching up and brushing his own hair out of his face.
"All right. But only if you promise not to leave me alone the entire time! You know full well my Sister will abandon me at the earliest opportunity." he grumbled, cheeks flushed. He was definitely the weaker sibling on all accounts. Miranda liked to remind him of that by leaving him to navigate these things on his own.

He paused for a moment when Jack hissed, mumbling a soft apology before continuing. But then Jack offered--
He hummed quietly, a little smile crossing his face. In moments like this, Arthur looked much older than he actually was. It was in his cheekbones, he had been told, but he never thought too much of it.
"While I appreciate that, my friend," Arthur spoke quietly as he pulled back to get one of the bandages from the kit to place over the wound. "I require no compensation. I was merely caring for a friend."
While it was true he had been benefiting from knowing Jack, Arthur was not the manipulative sibling. He would take things as they came.
Perhaps that made him a fool.
He didn't quite care.

Arthur quickly ducked into a bathroom to grab a first aid kit and then came back out, brows furrowing with concern. "Jack, you really should make sure you treat wounds like that immediately...what if it got infected?"
It was probably strange for Jack that Arthur was showing so much concern, but while Jack might not feel the same, Arthur's friendship was genuine on his side. He truly cared for Jack. He leaned in with a quiet, "excuse me," before dabbing some disinfectant into the wound, making sure to move Jack's hair out of the way.
Hilariously enough, this reminded him of when he and Miranda were kids. She had always been getting injured and he was always the one treating her injuries while she pouted and insulted him the whole time.

"She--" Well, that was horrifying. Arthur was immediately worried, especially given the lack of care Jack was giving to the wound. He wouldn't speak out against Lacie, not at all, but he did lean in a little to have a look at it.
Why did this remind him of something his Sister would do?
That horrified him even more.
"Will you allow me to treat it, Jack? You shouldn't leave that alone."
