Rebekah loves spending time just with Niklaus.She does love her other siblings, but with Nik she shaares a special bond. Unbreakable one. Too afraid to see him hurt, she asked him to take a wooden sword to protect her with against the invinsible monsters, while she is making flower crowns, sitting on the grass. He is her knight in imaginary shining armor. 

Rebekah grows frustrated when she can’t spend much time with Nik anymore. The more they grow up, the more his time is occupied by training with Elijah and hers - studying herbs with her mother. So now that they have this moment to themselves, she doesn’t let herself think about anything else. 

She notices the piece of wood is no longer splitting the air around them and she sees her brother kneeling a few meters away, his back turned to her. The moment she starts worrying, however, he jumps back on his feet and spints to her. The girl lifts her head to meet his eyes, when he bends in front of her and then kneels on one foot. In his hands he holds a beautiful flower, one she didn’t have and she knew it would be perfect to finish her flower crown. However as charming as his gift is, it’s his words that bring tears to her eyes. As innocent as she is, she doesn’t fully understand the true meaning of his words, yet she says them back to him. “ Always and forever! ”
