kinda expanding on that topic ☝️, I also think Alex didn't cut Will off immediately like the others ex-friendships because Will is/was, whether we like it or not, someone much more special and I dare to say one of the only people Alex could open up to 100%. The first time we saw him call someone his best friend was with Will, so like, yeah i think he always had a different relationship with Will (cof cof homossexualism) than with his others ex-friends
i agree mostly, my main theory was also that he didnt really care because it didnt directly affect him, like maybe he recognized some behaviours and whatnot but werent like. enough for him??? like dteam was xenophobic towards him for 2 years i wouldnt be surprised but thats my take

given that alex spoke on wilbur negatively when things were coming out (which he almost never does), he probably cut ties fully
i mean just said he kicked him out of the qsmp and made a joke about his friends being assholes then didnt do further comments that i remember at least 😭😭 idk i believe in guilty until proven innocent with his case
