The Relationships of Jaden || Mobile

Characters and the summary of their relationship with Jaden will be added on as they are made, but please note that not everyone who has some form of relationship with Jaden is listed here. Characters are added on once there’s been some significant growth in the relationship, but mainly my own motivation to do the work.

I am okay with making pre-established relationships, provided that there’s some discussion about it beforehand. Please know though that it’s harder for me to write these sort of relationships because I’m working off of hope/speculation rather than what’s naturally occurred between the characters.

Relationships are focused on what is seen in the main verse. AU relationships will not be listed for the sake of organization and focus.

Characters marked with + should be noted as being in a romantic relationship with Jaden. Please remember that this blog is multiship too, so no two romances are happening at the same time (without consent from all parties). Romances that are separated coexist with the pretense that other shipped-with-muses are seen more as friends than romantic partners.

Dennis Wenny

#well hey there handsome (self)

The first-born nibling (but not necessarily the oldest) and most favorite one of them all. Jaden holds a deep love for Dennis that he doesn’t always verbalize, but is very aware of nonetheless. Things between them changed after Jaden nearly got Dennis and Hot Spot killed by M.E.C.H., and the guilt of that weighs heavily on his conscience every day. Although Dennis has seemingly moved on from the incident and tearfully accepted Jaden back into his life, Jaden still holds himself accountable and fully expects to face retribution some day.

Doctor Robert Wenny

#tag: supervisor parent (father)

Ex-brother-in-law. Pre-divorce, Jaden and Robert were cordial, but never clicked in any way - especially since Jaden frequently stepped in to "be the man" for Dennis since Rob couldn't. Post-divorce, Jaden let his frustrations about having to support Dennis in Rob's absence very well known. Post-M.E.C.H. affiliation reveal, Rob has it out for Jaden and would sooner personally haul him into jail than ever let him near Dennis again, for better or for worse.

Penny Grey

Oldest sister. Penny has been a big support throughout Jaden's life and he owes a lot to her for it. Her presence has a way of turning him into a cheeky little shit too, because as her little brother it is his solemn duty to be a cheeky little shit.

Amber Grey

Youngest sister. While she may annoy the hell out of Jaden at times, Amber has been one of Jaden's strongest allies throughout their lives and childhood. He'd be the first person to line up for throttling her, and the first to square up for her defense.

Silas aka Gramps; Multiverse Variant

#tag: only one eighth dead (WarDog Silas)

The director of M.E.C.H. and Jaden's current boss, but not the director Jaden originally served under. That man is currently M.I.A., presumably K.I.A., and hasn't been seen since he violently disbanded M.E.C.H. before going off to join the Decepticons in his new mechanical body. Gramps is wildly different though and his behavioral differences consistently throw Jaden for a loop because he's always expecting the worst of Silas after dealing with it for years. Despite Jaden's immediate distrust and animosities towards Gramps though the two have become friends, and understand each other in ways very few people can.

Shale aka Gloria; Multiverse Variant

#the smallest big brain you've ever seen (WarDog Shale)

An agent of M.E.C.H. under the command of Silas, the Gramps variant. She was Jaden's first friend in the new division of M.E.C.H., and it happened somewhat unwillingly on his part. While Jaden tried to keep to himself and kept his head down, Shale frequently sought him out for conversation and kinship. He reacted by being prickly, abrasive, and brutally honest about his past, but she accepted these parts of him in stride. Eventually, Jaden began to recognize that Shale was a little more down to earth than he expected any agent to ever be, and very thoughtful and creative with her work in M.E.C.H.'s tech engineering. Although her fanatic loyalty to the organization rubs him the wrong way, Jaden can understand her dedication and tries to lean on it when he's feeling weak amongst the ranks.

Silas aka Salad; Multiverse Variant

#tag: Dick Salad (CodeName Silas)

The director of M.E.C.H. that Jaden doesn't care about, doesn't fully recognize, but is nonetheless fearful of anyway. Or perhaps he's fearful because he doesn't know Salad. In either case, Jaden does his best to maintain distance from Salad, and prefers to avoid all interaction with him as much as possible.

Judas; Multiverse Variant +

#tag: Judge Judy (CodeName Judas)

An agent of M.E.C.H. under the command of Silas, the Salad variant. He's a wild, hedonistic man who revels at the thought of anarchy, and yet ironically his chaotic nature has brought a sense of peace to Jaden's life. Through Judas, Jaden has learned to accept the M.E.C.H.-green tint covering his life and either rediscovered or found new ways to enjoy the life he has outside of work.

Achim; Multiverse Variant

#tag: Doctor Prick (Achim)

A mad man with too much power, money, and ability to do whatever he whimsically pleases. Achim would be a laughable joke to Jaden if he hadn't been the cause of so much indirect pain in Jaden's life. But seeing how Achim has hurt so many people in Jaden's life, Achim is regarded as a major threat that is just barely getting away with his violence... for now, at least.

Oron; Multiverse Variant

#The Ironclad Man (musesbykai Oron)

A cybernetic man displaced from a timeline set in the year 2077. Jaden detests Oron with every fiber of his being because of Oron's ongoing issues with violently lashing out, emotional instability, and generally pathetic behavior when he's held accountable for his actions. Whatever good deeds and aid Oron provided during the war with Achim is pretty much nulled now by the physical harm Oron has done to Dennis and Jasper, as well as the emotional distraught he's caused Shale.

Yin; Multiverse Variant; Vessel of a God

#tag: your friendly neighborhood chaos god (KaijuCrimson Yin)

The physical vessel for a God of Chaos. Jaden doesn't care much for Yin's nosy and intrusive behavior, especially since Yin's behavior led into Jaden getting seriously hurt and losing vital data against some attackers who had been stalking Jaden.

The actual God within Yin. It's annoying as fuck, taunts about hurting people and consuming the world, and hates the light. Thankfully, Jaden has a flashlight collection.

The Leader of the Protectobots and literal manifestation of a labrador puppy. Once upon a time, Jaden would have killed him for being near Dennis because he viewed Hot Spot as a threat. And he almost succeeded in doing that. Now, Jaden would kill to keep the stupid, giant, robot puppy alive. If asked about that, he claims it's his way of repaying the debt of nearly killing Hot Spot. Truthfully speaking though, it's because he loves the stupid, giant, robot puppy in his own ways.

Sanitatem (Sani); Multiverse Variant

A strange Autobot who has deeply involved herself with the inner workings of M.E.C.H., specifically Gramps. Despite how peculiar it is though, Jaden tries his best to not think about it too hard. If she wants to provide free therapy to him and Gramps, then so be it. If she wants to marry Gramps, then so be it too. Just as long as it doesn't interrupt their - or more importantly, Jaden's Gramps' - therapy sessions then it's all good.

Poppy Reed Chamberlain || 34 years old || Witch/The Supreme || Owner of The Starlight Bar || Downtown

Powers: Duplication, Telekinesis, Fire Manipulation, Immortality

Poppy is a twin, she’s five minutes older than her other half. She also has two younger sisters. 

Her father, Silas, is a dark coven leader in Boston who is currently in jail to avoid his magical crimes via The Council for exposing himself to humans. 

Her mother took her away from him as a child, gave them memory charms, and changed their last names as she brought them to Lunar Cove. 

She was always considered the rebel/bad child of the family since she constantly went against her mothers ruling. 

She spent most of her life growing up Downtown since her step father, Miles, was the advisor to the coven.

At 18 she leaped at the chance to leave town and drove off in her little red car, promising to only be gone a year, but that turned into ten. 

She eventually was attacked, returned to Lunar Cove four years ago. Which she was exiled by most of her family and the coven. Which she still rejoined despite how cold they were. 

She recently became supreme, it’s caused her tons more family drama. While she was everyone’s last choice to be supreme, she’s at least trying to be a decent supreme. 

She constantly is working the bar and will gladly listen to your problems, but she is very much a realist.  

She’s spent her whole life wanting to get out of this town and now finds herself stuck in it. 

Poppy refuses to have an actual relationship, instead choses to just have casual hook ups. If you catch feels for her then she’ll ghost you until you realize that she’s not your dream girl. 

She’s always down to have a good time, loves going anywhere but The Starlight Bar when she’s off.  

Which her apartment is above The Starlight Bar, she’s been renovating just as long as she’s had the bar. 

She will constantly duplicate herself so she can be in two places at once and never make anyone the wiser about it. 

Her closet is all black, it is rare to see her in any kind of color. The most adventurous she gets is a graphic on her t shirt or wearing grey. No matter what she is wearing she has her signature moon necklace on. Examples of her fashion can be found here and here.

She has 5 tattoos: 1 -3. A tiny moon and sun for her and her twin; with a star above it for Lia. Other two tba.

let me ramble thoughts about our peeps pls | always accepting! | @oniklahdov

I like the idea that, due to Brynjolf’s (admittedly well concealed) fear of magic, were Silas to move too suddenly, too near, he’d wince. Because of this, and because of the ingrained paranoia any trained thief has with stranger, he’d do nearly anything to reduce the amount of direct exposure he has to magic fits. You know. Like.....Taking sudden, inexplicable strolls far, far out of eye. Or earshot. OR, better yet, Brynjolf politely ducking out of a window in order to wholeheartedly avoid one of the practice rooms. Please just imagine how funny the image of Silas explaining something about the College, and while he’s gesturing and looking upon the source of their discussion, looks back to find Bryn gone. 

Brynjolf DOES have some interest in alchemy/potion-making; mind you, it’s not due to any academic purpose. Though he could be capable of achieving a genuine concoction of some kind (which would be funny to write, him learning how to properly make some kind of a potion), he’d rather study how the genuine potion is made, and how its color/consistency/odor/etc. comes to be, and then recreate a fake, cheaper knock-off so that he could better re-sell it without facing as many initially disbelieving customers. After all, if it looks, tastes, and smells like it, SURELY it’s it, right? ;) I like to imagine him asking Silas questions that could truly be perceived as academic intrigue and then. Nope. It’s just clever, cruel sneakthief tricks. 

I LOVE to imagine Brynjolf being tutored on the Altmeri accent by Silas. Because of his own Nordly Nordic accent, he does struggle to properly speak it, although he can read it just fine. 

Okay, but hear me out. These two, sat down, and having a heart to heart of sorts about their love of their occupation? Like, what builds the love of their work, the passion for their respective jobs, and maybe growing some level of respect for one another? Despite their fields and moral alignments being on nearly the opposite sides of the spectrum, I like to think they could bond over the actual care, the skill, the love, etc. that comes with doing what each one does.
