OCtober Day 2: New OC - ⁉️

Just a rough sketch for now because we're still figuring out their design ngl. But Dai-chan's is either mostly final like that (?) or will change slightly more. Then Yuzuru's and [redacted]'s still need some more tweaking because this is probably around the 2nd or 3rd time I tried drawing them ever. Yuzuru is not necessarily new, but I've started to figure out his character again since we have more story material now.

If I yap any more about them it would be spoilers. On the other hand, my submission for the next day has a lot of yapping.

OK CASTLEVANIA SEASON 2.

there are some things that make me Frustrated SUCH AS:

- I coulda had a lot more Trevor, especially more Trevor vs Alucard, because EVERY SCENE between them was great and that shoulda been the heart of things, and it w a s n ‘ t q u i t e. Mostly due to lack of Trevor scenes

- You coulda cut down a bit on the vampire politics to make room for that b/c while they were Interesting they did start to get repetitive. Could have dropped at least a few scenes. It’s like 60% vamps and 40% vamphunters and it should have been the other way around

- on that note ya shoulda given the vamphunters more of a plot than “dick around in a library for 6 episodes” like fuckin rlly. just a little more protag agency?? please???

-I DON’T GET....WHY HECTOR BETRAYED DRACULA.......like it was definitely somewhere in the vampire politics but he really needed A Significant Moment that changed his mind and he didn’t get one.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That’s actually a pretty vital point missing from the overall thematic arc of the story

- Carmilla pronounced the word “indignant” Very Wrong so I have to eat a voice director now bye

HOWEVER THE GOOD:

- Both Hector and Isaac were very good characters and I liked them and the scene where they talked to each other was v good, especially when Isaac was like “so is this when we make out” and Hector was just like ???????? WH

- Carmilla is the future liberals want. EAT THE MANCHILDREN. God, what a bitch. Love that bitch. why is her neck Like That though that dress looks uncomfy

- TH A N K Y O U for not getting bogged down with unnecessary exposition on things like Forgemasters or the scrying mirrors - we knew exactly as much as we needed to know to make those interesting.

- VERY GOOD VAMPHUNTER OT3 BANTER. “It’s the magic door of death, Belmont” “shUT UP” 

- SYPHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! “See? God hates me.” /yeets an entire castle.

-WHO PAINTED THE SCENERY, AND WILL THEY MARRY ME

- Multicultural vampire designs are b u e n o and I particularly love that the one vampire who appeared to be Japanese leaned heavy on the vampire mist powers?? I do not fully know the cultural allusions going on there but that was still pretty cool

- my actual favourite part of s1 was the overdramatic bishop and I’m so happy he came back for this season, and I am especially happy he came back as a zombie to bless a river hE WAS STANDING IN SO HE LITERALLY BLESSED HIMSELF OUT OF EXISTENCE LIKE GHDLSFJLSRKJFLSDHGLKDSJFL CAN YOU EVEN DO THAT WHAT THE FUCKJKDSJFKDSJF HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA

- FUCKIN ISAAC JUST WRECKING [redacted] IN THAT ONE FIGHT SCENE RUINED ME THAT WAS SO GOOD

- Dracula falling to pieces was soooooo gooooooooooood. History’s longest suicide note indeed. I like that he just kind of runs out of passion. He starts with words like vengeance and ends with words like silence. so good.

-BUT IN CONTRAST whenever Dracula has to kick ass he kicks SO MUCH ASS and it’s actually kind of nice they held off on that until the very last minute.

- DID YOU NOTICE THAT ALUCARD AND DRACULA STARTED THEIR FIGHT SAYING “father” “son” AND ENDED IT SAYING THE SAME THING HOLY FUCK MY HEART BROKE I’m killing my boy :( 

- I swear to god in Isaac’s part of the last episode the guy who comes up to him at the oasis and is like “lol I’m gonna drag you behind the horse and then eat you if I get hungry” THAT VOICE ACTOR. IS ADAM CROASDELL. AKA IGNIS FROM FFXV. THREATENING CANNIBALISM. HE DISCOVERED A NEW RECIPEH

- The game references were bueno bueno especially when they played Bloody Tears during the final fight and the fact that Sypha is still the most fuckin broken in all boss fights always.
