Tav’s talented with the disguise self spell, the moment she realised she could use it she abused it terribly to her advantage, taking the appearance of someone else so she could pickpocket someone or cause a little mayhem. A little harmless fun, after all, she endeavours to not take from people who don’t have much to give. But sometimes, late at night, she’ll change her appearance so she resembles her mother more and not the man that abandoned them, change the shape of her nose so she’s not so obviously Aviel Ravenshade’s bastard daughter, make her ears appear more pointed, look a little taller. Other times, she’ll indulge herself, imagine what she might have looked like if her father legitimized her, didn’t abandon her, a noblewoman in finery, an image of what could have been.

 Then the spell fades and she’s back to wearing the clothes she’s obtained through ill-gotten means, back to looking like her father’s daughter and she hates herself a little for daring to wonder what could have been.
