In the mirror scene, Colin says Pen sees him in a way that no one else sees him.

In the make out scene in ep 7, she tells him she loves the sweet lovable Colin which helps break the tension they’ve been having

He really loves that Pen sees him and that’s why the Whistledown reveal hurt so bad. Because sees him so clearly and has so much power over him, is she chose to publish about him again. And additionally, she seems him so well but he was blind to an entire part of her.

I mean this as earnestly as possible but I love Hobie x OC ships because the idea itself is so punk - rewriting the story for yourself

And I really enjoy the oc pairings I see people put him with, what kind of people they think he'd love or how he'd treat them

Idk I just prefer it over any other canon x canon ship (other than the GOAT noirpunk)
