"Our lords have sent us to pass along a message to you and yours, agreeing to the terms of your proposal." Long, dark hair spills over one shoulder as the knight bows, holding out a curious looking scroll of parchment, held closed by a vibrant flower whose stem had seemingly grown to spiral around it. "The Dagda in particular asked that we relay to you the enthusiasm of both himself and his fellow Tuath Dé."
"Naturally, we are looking forward to it just as much, and appreciate that your lords were so generous as to make their considerations as swiftly as they did. Their assistance will make all the difference, I have no doubt."
As Enoch takes the parchment in his hands, the two fae before him straighten once more as he nods for them to do so. An easy smile on his face that sees the knights relaxing a bit from their seriousness.
"Please relax. You've fulfilled the task assigned to you, no? I will look this over with my family, and have my reply ready for you to return to the Otherworlds with as quickly as I can, but until then, it is rather late. I urge you both to feel free to make use of what amenities we've made available to you for as long as you both see fit to stay. As always, Bleddyn, you and Laisren are always welcome faces here. In fact, I'm sure a few of my brothers will be excited to see you both."
"With the gateways between Heaven and the Otherworlds closed off temporarily, it took some time to travel here..." Bleddyn began, looking to Laisren as they seemed intent on speaking up, as well.
"Navigating some of the areas of the Mortal Realm where the Corruption is worsening was more difficult than we'd thought. And with the condition that some of the Corrupted are in, I was a little surprised not to hear of a higher death toll. It's the same in Hell, isn't it? Both they and Gaea must be doing better than some people had thought."
Enoch responds at first with only a soft hum, tapping the scroll thoughtfully against one of his palms. Truth be told, neither his cousins, or his sister and brother-in-law were doing very well at this point, between the Corruption itself, and the stress of the situation. But he wasn't about to hint at such a thing.
"In the case of the death toll, the Corruption is not-- as far as both myself and the others called on by Creation at the start of all this-- actually capable of killing anyone it has afflicted. Any death toll occurring now is likely a result of those in the earlier stages that were looking to...halt their suffering, so to speak. Just as likely, I would think that there are some that have been killing those that have been affected, hoping that doing so would mitigate the risk of it spreading. Gaea, Hell, Sebiphere, and even the Otherworlds...all of the realms are doing as much as they can to hold out until a solution is found. That's all any of us can do, at present."
"...But that's a very heavy and complicated topic for so late at night. Rather than giving you even more things to think about, I should be helping you to relax so you can get some good rest." Laisren's eyes are alight with admiration, and he seems to hang on nearly every word Enoch says. It's enough to give both the god and Bleddyn a soft laugh. "Well, how about this, hmm? Allow me to show you to your rooms and give you a chance to situate yourselves while I bring this to Michael, Tahariel, and Elijah to look over. After that, assuming you've yet to eat, it would be my pleasure to accompany the both of you to dinner, and maybe even a small tour of Heaven afterward-- given that you aren't too tired. Neither of you have seen it since everything was redon, after all. Would that interest you at all?"
Both fae nodded-- Bleddyn gracious, while Laisren was only barely able to hold back his eagerness.
"Then it would seem that's that. If you would both follow me..."
#[Bleddyn -drabbles-]#[Laisren -drabbles-]#[Enoch -drabbles-]#(*places this down*#Because I've said to some people that Eno has been calling in a few favors with people and groups in the past week or so#the Otherworlds and Tuath Dé are one of those groups#also noticing very quickly that sticking these two near Eno had Laisren immediately perking up and excited#and at first I thought he just really looked up to Eno#and he does!#but he's apparently like that with a lot of leaders/ruling figures that he respects#which kind of makes sense given his story
