"Yep! Although we'd be happy if you joined us for club stuff, too; we're making shark cookies tonight!"
Though her new 'cult' did play into the spooky, scary cult angle, in reality that was just a draw to unite people as part of a fun club. Last year got derailed by friends turning traitors and the village (temporarily) burning down. So, as retribution for the actual chaos she caused, why not stow some harmless chaos?
Oh, but Sharknado 2 was still the goal. Girl's gotta live her cheesy movies, and guy friend needs his chance to fight sharks on land.
"Thank you very much!" Elle's got her pinky out for Velver to take. "I'm Elle, this club's Vice President! Glad to have you, Velvet--" Wait, that name... Was this--? "Oh, would you know a boy named Laphicet? I met him last year, and I never did get to meet the kind, wonderful Velvet he talked about!"
Honestly speaking, Velvet had gotten used to the way things were with her friends. The 'Calamity Crew' kind of just did what they wanted a lot of the time. Even with Eleanor trying to act as a voice of reason, that was often what it boiled down to. Especially when Magilou was involved. So, she just figured it was best to let Elle and the others do what they want to. Now that her interest was made clear, though...
All at once, Velvet found the light around her fading. Elle's voice seemed deeper than before, but Velvet stood firm in front of Elle. She was prepared to fight if this ended up turning sour, but at the apaex of the speech everything changed.
"A... pinky swear?"
That was it? Velvet blinked. Well. That wasn't at all what she'd expected. Not that she was complaining. If all of the activities were going to be like this, then maybe things would be harmless after all. They might not even end up summoning the entity. She sighed, admittedly relieved, and gave in to a faint smile as she shook her head.
"Okay. I think I can manage that," Velvet said. "This isn't what I had in mind when I came to the festival, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore." A pause. If they were going to be club members together, names probably ought to be exchanged.
"Velvet, by the way."

Oblitus Part 33
Hallelujah
33 Days Left Until Extermination...
Gabriel stood in shock as he dropped his sword. His whole body was trembling as he looked down at his hands.
"What have I done?" he whispered in horror. He looked over the edge to where Michael had fallen, down towards the city below. He was he going to cover this up? How was he going to explain this to everyone, including father? No, it had to be done. Michael would have been an liability. Gabriel nodded his head. He had done the right thing. Michael was just like that traitor, Lucifer. He had to do it! As Gabriel was in deep thought, he didn't see that someone else was approaching towards him.
"Hey, Gabriel!" he heard them call out to him, making him jumped, startled. Gabriel quickly turned his head, panicking, to see another angel as they walked over to him.
"Ariel," Gabriel answered, trying to remain calm. The angel before him was a female with a rounded face, short brown hair, shady dark blue eyes, wearing dark purple eye shadow.
"Why so jumpy?" Ariel smirked. Gabriel narrowed his eyes, frowning at her.
"Why aren't you at your post?" he questioned.
"I decided to take a little break and wanted to see my two favorite brothers," Ariel replied. She looked around. "Where's Michael?" Gabriel grew tense, trying to think of something then he answered her.
"He attacked me!"
Ariel stared at Gabriel in shock and disbelief before laughing. "Gabriel, Michael couldn't even harm a fly even if he wanted to!"
"I'm serious!" Gabriel shouted. "He headbutted me and was about to attack me with his holy weapon!" Ariel looked at Gabriel, who looked like he had been in a fight. She was that a bruise was beginning to form on his forehead, with a little bit of swelling on his left eye. His face had a few scratches as well. His uniform had some rips and gun shot holes.
"I just find this hard to believe that Michael would do this," she murmured still unsure.
"Please, believe me sister. I wouldn't lie to you," Gabriel pleaded. "And there's more that you should know."
"What?" Ariel asked.
"I've learned some troubling news while I was out scouting," Gabriel explained. "Our former brother, Lucifer is creating an army. They are taking residence in a hotel down there. They are planning to over throw father again."
"What should we do?" Ariel asked, worried.
"Give me some time to recover and then we'll take care of this ourselves together with my army." Gabriel told her.
"Okay, I believe you," Ariel agreed as she nodded. "Just let me know when you are ready."
"I knew that I can rely on you, Ariel," Gabriel smiled.
Back down in the city, Charlie helped Vaggie up, while Alastor was tending to Angel and Husk with their injuries. As Alastor was finishing with Husk's wing, stopping the bleeding, he turned his attention to Angel, seeing the nasty wound on the spider demon. Alastor tried to heal it but he was almost as his limit as well. The wound was only finished halfway healed.
"It's fine, Smiles," Angel replied. "You've done enough. My body will do the rest on it's own."
"I'm just glad that it's over," Anna replied. "That was way too close. I ever thought that angels could be this strong."
"Well, you've never been through an extermination to see it happen," Charlie said. "This is why I want to save my people so they won't have to suffer anymore."
"Can we go back now? I've had enough excitement for one day," Baxter asked.
"Me too," Niffty agreed.
Suddenly, just as everyone was about to leave, Anna looked up to see something falling. It was a person. It was head straight towards them, fast.
"Uh, guys, I think that we should get out of the way," she called out.
"What?" Charlie asked.
"Move!" she shouted as she pushed everyone out of the way just as the person crashed, slamming into the ground, hard. Anna screamed it nearly hit her but Alastor pulled her out of the way just in time.
As everyone stood up to see what it was, they saw a large crater in the center of the street from where they were standing. Anna walked over to the edge of the crater and looked down to see that it was another angel. Everyone else walked over as well, seeing him.
"Oh great, another one." Vaggie groaned.
"Wait, he's hurt." Charlie said as she noticed that he was hurt, seeing a huge gaping wound on the angel chest. His left wing was torn and damaged as well. She jumped down and picked him up and jumped out of the crater and laid him down on the ground as everyone gathered around.
"We need to help him. Alastor can you heal him?" Anna asked.
"Are you insane?" Angel asked in disbelief.
"What?" Anna said.
"If we help him, then what's to stop him from waking up and attacking us?" Vaggie asked.
"I don't want to get my ass kicked again, one of them was bad enough." Angel added.
"It's probably a trick," Niffty added as well.
"Then why would this angel just fall out of the sky and land right in front of us, hurt, right after Gabriel left?" Anna questioned. "I doesn't make any sense." Everyone thought for a moment in silence as she continued. "Plus, maybe we could use him to help us with the hotel."
"That's actually, not a bad idea," Charlie agreed.
"Well, as long as he's tied up and confined, so he can't hurt anyone, and find out what his motives are, he can stay." Vaggie replied. "But, he's your responsibility." Anna nodded. She turned to Alastor.
"Heal him," Alastor groaned.
"Cher, I've almost used up all of my strength. I'm not sure that I'll able able to heal him completely."
"Just do what you can." Anna said, softly.
Alastor turned to the fallen hurt angel then knelt down and started to heal him. The gaping wound on the angel's chest slowly began to mend, closing up, until it was completely healed. However, his wing was unable to be healed as Alastor felt the last of his magic beginning to slip through his fingers. Anna quickly caught him as Alastor almost fell backwards from exhaustion.
"There, it's done," Alastor said, tiredly.
"You've done wonderfully," Anna smiled. "How about when we get back to the hotel, I'll fix up some jambalaya?"
"You've read my mind." Alastor agreed, feeling hungry. He could use some meat right about now.
"I'm starving!" Angel exclaimed.
"You can have some too Angel, as well as everyone else," Anna snickered. But, she stopped when she noticed that there was something strange happening to Alastor. Everyone one else noticed as well.
"Alastor, your hair!" Charlie exclaimed.
"What are you talking about?" Alastor asked, smiling confused. "And why are you all staring at me like that?"
Anna picked up a shard of glass, carefully, holding it up in front of Alastor. Alastor couldn't believe it himself as he stared back into his own reflection, like a deer in headlights. His hair was now brown, instead of blood red, but also tufts still sticking out like a deer's on the top of his head.
It was late in the middle of the night, everyone had gone to sleep, resting from the battle. Ever so often, they would take turns watching over their unexpected guest, who was now tied up and being confined in a locked room, waiting for the angel to wake up.
In Angel's room, Angel was lying in his bed while Fat Nuggets was sleeping at the end of it. He smiled as he rolled over on his side, expecting to feel warm fuzzy fur next to him. "Hmm," Angel groaned, sleepily. "Morning, Husky." But, he only felt strange leathery velvet skin.
He slowly opened his eyes only to be met with the color white. Angel immediately sat up with a shocked look on his face. He tried to pinch himself to check to see if he was still dreaming. Nope, he was wake. Sleeping, in front of the spider demon was an unfamiliar middle aged man with slicked black hair with a few grey streaks, while at the top of his head were two black cat ears. Angel nearly drooled at the sight of the man's well toned naked less furry body. He even had a black tail that was slowly swaying side to side as he slept. He had been redeemed.
"Husk?" Angel asked.
"What?" the former cat demon grumbled, sleepily.
"I don't want you to freak out but, your wing's grown back.-"
"And what else is new?" Husk asked.
"It's white and you're a lot less hairy than I remembered from last night-" Angel smirked, but still in shock, and continued. Husk immediately woke up as he sat up on the bed. "Your other wing's that same as well."
Husk folded his wings closer to him then stretched them out. Just like Angel had said, his wings were now pure white with feathers. Husk looked down to see his other wing lying on the floor. He looked back at Angel only to be met with different colored human-like eyes, one light blue and the other light pink.
"Kid, I'm not the only one changes," Husk murmured. "Have you looked in the mirror?"
Angel looked at him confused then stood up and walked over to the mirror across the his room. He saw that his other eye had changed as well, both now completely different colors.
"HOLY SHIT!"
"I know, it's unbelievable," Husk replied in shock. Angel looked back into the mirror, however, he noticed that something was off.
His wound hadn't healed.
It was still the same as it was before.
Fear began to build in Angel as he began to grow nervous and uneasy by the more he looked at it. He tried to stop himself from panicking, in front of Husk. It was fine. He was fine. It'll go away eventually.
It will...It'll just take a little more time that's all!
"Hey, what's wrong?" Husk asked, sensing that something was bothering him. Angel laughed, turning around to face him.
"Nothings wrong! I'm just so fucking happy right now!" he exclaimed, jumping onto the bed, landing right on top of Husk, body slamming into him, while waking Fat Nugget's up as well.
It'll heal up eventually, right?

Chapter 49
NIALL
How we managed to actually fly to Vegas without any pictures taken or meeting any fan seemed like a miracle. Something was clearly on our side and I took it as a very good sign. I watched her as she threw her bags on the carpet when we walked in the suite I had rented for the week and her lips curled. She let out a few cute giggles before running to the bed and jumping on it. It was huge, shaped like a heart with red silk sheets and a velvet cover of the same color except a bit darker. Olivia started jumping more as she kept laughing and I rolled my eyes with a smile when I noticed the pillows falling one by one from the bed to end on the floor.
"This is the cheesiest shit i've ever seen." I pointed out with a chuckle. "And stop this, you're gonna hurt yourself."
She turned to me and stopped jumping before sending me a smirk. "Make me."
We stared at each other for a few seconds and suddenly, I jumped on the bed too and she let out a short scream. I wrapped my arms around her but one of my legs weakened and I brought her in my falling before we both bounced on the bed. It made her laugh even more and I smiled as she panted, her lips parted. I ended up on top of her and she spread her legs a bit as I layed between them. She finally looked in my eyes and sent me a fond smile that I sent back. I couldn't believe we were here and I couldn't believe we were about to do what we were about to do.
"In less than 12 hours you're gonna be my wife, how does it feel?"
Her traits softened and she brought her hand to my face, running her fingertips on my cheek and jaw slowly. "Like I'm exactly where I'm meant to be, doing exactly what I'm meant to do."
I let my eyes roam on her face and smiled again before bending down closer and kissing her lips gently. "With the only person I'll ever be in love with." I added, finishing her thought in a whisper against her mouth.
"Mmhm." she replied, bringing her other hand to my cheek and cupping my face. "But you're not supposed to shag the bride before she says 'I do'."
I smirked against her lips and couldn't help but let out a chuckle. "You really want to follow that rule?"
"It's good for building up the tension."
"The sexual tension, you mean." I corrected.
"Mmhm, and besides, you're probably going to fuck me in all the ways you want, whenever you want and for as long as you want... for a whole week. Right?"
"That's the plan." I whispered, gripping her hair in one fist as I held myself with my elbows on each sides of her head.
"What's a few hours, then?"
"You're gonna have to ask that question to my cock, petal."
She laughed again and my grip in her hair loosened as my lips curled. She was right, we didn't need to have sex now, we'd have plenty of time for that, and I was going to make sure she got whatever she needed and wanted during this whole trip.
"What do you want, my love. Food? A nap?" I just asked, raising my eyebrows. "Name it and it's yours."
Her smile faltered and she tilted her head on the side, her hair spread on the bed. She finally pressed her lips together before my name escaped them softly, in a murmur.
"Niall James Horan."
I chuckled with a fond smile and shook my head slightly. "I'm already all yours."
---
"I shouldn't have eaten a second piece of pie." she pointed out, trying to zip her dress.
I watched her squirm and groan for a few more seconds and let out a small laughter before placing myself behind her and zipping her dress easily. I leaned my chin on her naked shoulder and wrapped my arms around her waist from behind, my eyes closed. She smelled good, the same mix of honey and vanilla she always smelled, and something twisted in my stomach as I realized it was a smell I would always enjoy. For the rest of my life.
"It's a spray." she just said, making me open my eyes and frown.
"Excuse me?" I asked, moving back up to look at her as she turned to me.
She nibbled on her bottom lip for a few seconds while staring at me and finally, she reached for her bag, taking something out and quickly putting it in my hand. I frowned more, bringing it to my face, as I checked the product. It was, indeed, a body spray that she clearly also used in her hair. I turned the small bottle in my hand and finally nodded.
"I'm gonna buy this company and make sure they keep making this product until the day that I die."
She let out a short laughter and grabbed it from my hand before spraying more in her hair and neck. "Don't be silly!"
"Fine then, we'll stock a few boxes in the basement to make sure we have enough."
She turned to me and laughed again, wrapping her arms around my neck and pulling me closer. I felt her lips brush against mine and kissed her firmly.
"Don't make me regret telling you." she whispered, making my lips curl.
"Hey, we're getting married! There can't be no secret between us anymore!"
"Yea? Then I guess I have a few questions for you!"
I cleared my throat and took a step back, making her chuckle again. "We should just get ready, or we're gonna be late." I pointed out, half-joking. "And you know you're the worst at being on time. I'm not sure you've ever been on time before, have you?"
"I think my wedding day is a good time to start."
She took a step closer and worked on my tie, tightening it before letting both her hands slide on my chest. I brought my hands over hers and she looked up at me with a smile. I could feel my heart beating so hard in my chest and I couldn't remember a time I was more nervous than at this exact moment.
"Are you sure you didn't want the whole deal with friends and family?" she asked in a low tone, raising her eyebrows. "With the big dress and the reception and the wedding song and gifts and..." she shook her head and closed her eyes for a few seconds before they fluttered open again. "I feel like we're about to disappoint your mom. I don't want that."
"My mom just wanted us to be together." I let out softly. "I promise she'll be super happy for us. Don't worry. Today is our day, okay? And we'll only think about us. You and me."
She tilted her chin up and chuckled low. "We're so fucking crazy. Jumping in a plane the next day you asked me to be your wife to get married. Who does that? Crazy people!"
"Then I must be extra insane because I sincerely believe this is our best idea yet!" I laughed. "In this lifetime!"
She frowned and tried to stop a chuckle from escaping her lips. "Who are you and what have you done with my best friend? The most organized and less impulsive person I know?"
"I guess he learned how to be from the most spontaneous and messiest person he knows."
"You're about to marry that person, remember? Think you can handle it for the rest of your life?"
I brought my finger and pressed it on the tip of her nose, making her giggle a bit. "I know I can. I want it."
Slowly, I moved my head closer to hers but instead to kiss her, I rubbed my nose gently against hers, making her smile grow into a fond one. "Come on, petal. Let's get married."
---
The sky was dark, which was surprising, since I thought it was mostly sunny in Las Vegas. I glanced up and noticed a few clouds but I just grabbed Liv's hand and pulled her with me. We jumped in a cab and I checked my watch, making me realize that we wouldn't be late and it made me smile. Her dress was simple but white and with my black suit, I knew no one could doubt where we were actually going. The ride was short and when we got out, we both remained motionless and looked up at the sky who had turned a dark shade of purple.
"Can we be unlucky to the point where it'll actually rain in Vegas for our wedding?" she asked with a chuckle. "That's my legendary luck!"
"Well, they say 'for better or worse'..."
She laughed a bit but squeezed my fingers tighter. "That's what they say."
"Are you sure you didn't want to do that in the desert? Or with an helicopter ride, or something bigger like that?"
We stared at the chapel for a few more minutes and she finally sighed, making me turn around. She was smiling wide and it made me grin too. "This is exactly what I want." Her smile faltered and her lips parted suddenly, making my heart jump in my chest. "Shit, we forgot the flowers. And the witnesses."
"Oh." It took me a few seconds to move but my eyes fell on an old couple in their 60's that were walking close to us and when I stood in front of them, they looked a bit surprised. "I'm sorry, my girlfriend and I are about to get married... We totally forgot we needed witnesses.." I shook my head and sent them puppy eyes. "Could I ask for a few minutes of your time? I can pay, if needed."
They looked at each other and laughed a bit before looking at me again. "We just renewed our vows." the man let out, glancing behind me, probably at Olivia. "It'll be our pleasure."
I sent them the biggest smile I could and shook my head slightly. "I can't thank you enough!"
Quickly, I turned to my girlfriend and grabbed her hands in mine. Maybe we were going to be late, after all. "Give me five minutes, okay?"
She nodded with a frown and I started running, stopping nearby a man who was selling roses. I couldn't believe my luck and looked up at the sky again, telling myself that maybe it was not going to rain at all. I searched through my pockets and traded a good amount of money for too many flowers and ran back to the chapel, where Olivia was in deep conversation with our witnesses.
"That's amazing." I could hear emotions in her voice and I stopped next to her, my eyes roaming on the side of her face. "I hope we can stay married that long, too."
"Of course we will. I'm saying 'I do' for a lifetime, you're stuck with me!"
She laughed and turned to me, shaking her head slightly before getting on her tiptoes and cupping my cheeks. Her lips found mine and I smiled against her mouth.
"I'm supposed to kiss you after the vows, my love." I whispered, feeling my lips brush against hers. "Ready?"
She moved slightly away and I stared at her. I couldn't believe how much she glowed. I had noticed that she did glow more than ever on that day I saw her at the bakery. It was selfish of me, but today, I knew she was glowing partly because of me, and it made something stir in my stomach. I was happy because of her, and I wanted to bring the same kind of feelings to her than the ones she brought me. Looking into her eyes made me realize that I did and I licked my lips. Perhaps, the way she was glowing was reflecting on me.
"I've been ready for over two decades." she giggled and tilted her head. "You bet i'm ready!"
---
OLIVIA
We had a hard time choosing between being married by Elvis, or by an alien, and in the end, we opted for a simple officiant. I tried to listen to his words, but the way Niall was running his thumbs on the top of my hands as he held them made something stir in my stomach. I stared at him as he stood in front of me, and I couldn't help but tell myself over and over again how lucky I was. It was meant to be, I knew it now, but there were times in my life I had lost almost all hope. The dark times were in the past, though, and I wanted to focus on the future. I wanted to enjoy every single second I spent with Niall because I felt blessed in a way I felt I maybe didn't deserve.
"...until death do you part?"
I blinked a few times and noticed Niall's lips curl as he kept staring at me. "I do."
I filled my lungs and held my breath as I let my eyes roam on him. I suddenly became very emotional at the sound of those two simple words. Somehow, I knew he was aware of everything it implied, even if this whole ceremony seemed frivolous and a simple spur of the moment.
I blinked a few times and licked my lips when Niall raised his eyebrows. "I do." I just ket out in a low and soft tone. His face illuminated and his lips cuirled more before he squeezed my fingers tighter. I hadn't listened to the officiant's words, too lost in my boyfriend's eyes, but it didn't matter because no matter what he was asking me to promise, I was ready for it. I was ready to do anything to make this work, and make him happy.
"Oh, oh yea." Niall muttered, letting go of one of my hands to reach in his pocket. "I give you this ring as a symbol or my love and commitment." I bit my bottom lips as I stared at his fingers and I could swear he was nervous. He slid it on my finger, over the other one, and breathed in. "I'll love you forever, beyond this life. You're the only one."
My lips curled and I swallowed hard, trying to keep my tears in. I took the ring I had for him and put on his finger too, licking my lips. "I give you this ring just like I gave you my heart and all my love." I whispered, taking a short pause. "I've always been yours, and I promise that I'll always be."
"I now pronounce you husband and wife." I heard before swallowing again.
I let out a short and nervous laugh and moved closer to him. Just like when we kissed for the very first time, Niall's hands reached for my face, his fingers spread on my cheeks, jaw and a part of my neck. His lips found mine just as avidly as it had in that bar, after singing a song to me, and it brought me back to that day as a bunch of other memories invaded my brain. I thought that first kiss was incredible, and I remember when I kissed him again after over a year, back at my place. That time too, felt amazing. But today was different. The kiss we shared was full of promises and a future actually emanated from it. It was cheesy, and perhaps a bit silly, but it didn't matter if all this romantic jazz seemed to be coming straight out of a movie. It was my reality, and I wouldn't have wanted it otherwise.
I don't know how long we kissed but when his grip loosened, I heard a few 'woohoo's!' and 'congrats!' coming from our witnesses. Niall grabbed my hand and I bite my bottom lip, a bit embarrassed by the whole thing. We thanked the couple and shook their hands before walking towards the exit.
"You've got all the papers and stuff?" I asked, glancing at him.
"Mmhm, I do my love."
"Then, what are we waiting for?"
I turned to him and our lips curled at the same time. I let out a chuckle and he did too before we held each other's hand even tighter. Almost at the same time, we started running, pushing on the doors only to meet the lights of the town and I quickly looked up as I heard the sky growl.
"Shit, is that thunder?"
As if someone up there had heard my question, it started raining and I closed my eyes, feeling drops falling gently on my face. I shivered and Niall pulled on my hand as we started running again.
"Come on!"
I followed him, making our way through the cars and the people walking around. We looked a bit ridiculous in our wedding suits and dress, and I gripped his hand even tighter, realizing I left the flowers in the chapel. We were still laughing when we hopped in a taxi and I ran my hand in my face, knowing my make up was totally ruined.
"What are the chances of rain, in Vegas, in december?" Niall laughed, shaking his head. "Less than 5 percent i'm sure!" He turned to me and his smile faltered a bit. "Hey, you're cold?"
I shivered and nodded slowly before he made a quick head movement, inciting me to come closer. I did as he asked but quivered again in his arms. Despite the fact that he was warmer than me, his clothes were drenched too and it didn't really help but I didn't move, just enjoying the fact that we were cuddling.
We didn't talk on the drive back to the hotel, and we kept quiet in the elevator, too. It's only when the door of our suite closed behind us that he turned to me and smiled.
"We fuckin' did it." he just let out, shaking his head with a smile. "We got married. You're my wife."
I stared at him as a bunch of emotions invaded me. It was a mix of relief, happiness, excitement and love. I looked in the eyes of the man I wanted to spend my life with, knowing that I actually had just promised to love him forever, and it was not scary at all. It was pretty much the opposite of scary. I felt safe in a way I never did before.
"You're so beautiful." he let out in a low tone, taking a step closer and shaking his head slightly. "I'm in love with you."
I knew it was a lie. My make up was ruined, and my mascara was probably making big dark spots under my eyes, perhaps it was even sliding down my cheeks. My dress was soaked and so was my hair. All I cared about was the fact that my husband thought I was beautiful.
"If you think that right now, imagine when I put a little effort."
His lips curled a bit more but he just licked his lips. His suit was wet too and my eyes dropped to his chest. I moved my hands up and pushed on his jacket as it fell down on the carpet.
"Did we just get married?" I added as my whole body started throbbing.
"Fuck yea we did, petal."
"You're not gonna regret this tomorrow?" I asked again, raising my eyebrows.
"Not tomorrow. Not in a month, not in fifty years." he whispered, looking down at me as I unbuttoned his shirt slowly. "This was meant to be. Written in the stars, as you'd say."
I pressed my lips together, loosening his tie, and pushed his shirt away as it fell on the floor too. I pulled on his tie gently and he smiled, bending down until our mouths pressed together.
"You know what's next?" he asked, his lips brushing against mine.
"You're gonna fuck me into oblivion?"
He chuckled and shook his head. "No, I'm gonna make love to my wife. And I swear you're never going to forget it." he explained, kissing me gently again. "And then, I'll fuck you. All night. Until we both pass out."
I didn't say anything but smiled more and he wrapped his arms around me to reach for the zipper of my dress, sliding it down very slowly. He moved my dress over my shoulders and I shivered a bit, realizing that my skin was wet too, and when he got down one of knee to pull on my dress, I smiled more. He moved back up, letting his fingertips run on my legs and thighs softly as I stood in front of him only in my underwear. I started working on his pants and tilted my head, blinking a few times.
"I'm so in love with you." I admitted, moving closer and running my hands on his ass gently, pushing his pants down. "I'll never be able to explain properly how I feel. It's killing me."
"You don't have to explain. I know. Because I feel the same." he whispered.
It was hard to believe but I just swallowed, trying to keep my tears in. Was it even possible that he loved me just as deeply as I loved him? Two years ago, I would have said no, but right now, after we just got married and seeing the way he was looking at me, I allowed myself to believe it.
He placed his hands on my waist and turned us around, pushing me backwards to the bed. Instead to throw me on it the way he normally does, I just lied down slowly and when he got on his knees between my legs, I let out a short chuckle.
"There are... mirrors up there."
Quickly, he tilted his chin and I felt my heart twist in my chest when his lips curled. Fuck, he was too pretty for words, shirtless and in simple white boxers, his tie still hanging loosely from his neck. I reached for it and pulled on it, making him fall on top of me. He laughed but held himself with his hands on each side of my face and I smiled more.
"It's perfect." I added with a smirk. "That was I can look at your ass while you make love to me."
"Mm, alright. but later we're gonna have to try other positions so I can be the one looking at you." He chuckled, brushing his lips up and down on mine.
"Deal."
He moved closer again, his lips sucking on my upper one before kissing me deeply. I whimpered in his mouth and he finally brought his kisses down my neck and to my breasts. I felt one of his hands travelling on my waist and pulling down the side of my panties. I moved my butt up to help him and when he was back on top of me, I quickly pushing on his boxers, glancing up at the ceiling and smiling when I saw his ass reflect in the mirror.
"Oh it's funny?" he asked, moving away to look in my eyes, a big smile on his lips.
"Very. I think we should buy mirrors for our room at home, too."
"Great minds, pet. I was thinking the same thing."
I giggled but he kissed me again and I pulled more on his boxers. He squirmed a bit and the only piece of clothing that was left was the tie around his neck. I spread my legs more and his lips moved to my ear as he sucked on it gently. It took him about a minute but he finally pushed himself inside me, making my eyes flutter and my lips part.
"Mm, I can't believe I'm inside my wife right now."
I chuckled but immediately let out an other whimper as he ground against me. The whole thing seemed to crazy yet so obvious at the same time. The thought of us making love and being married was incredibly exciting and it made me emotional. He started moving in and out of me so slowly that I felt my eyes flutter and roll back every time he was balls deep inside me.
"I'm so close already, how do you do that?"
I knew it was a mix of love and lust that made us so horny for each other, and I loved it. He kissed my bottom lip and part of my chin gently as I moaned and arched my back.
"I love you, I love you so much." I let out a bit louder than intended.
"I love you too, I'm so happy to be your husband."
It was the first time he pronounced that word and for some reason, the thought was so good it made me reach my peek immediately. I started shaking beneath him and to suppress my moans, he pressed his lips against mine.
"You feel amazing, oh my god!"
He shut his eyes tight as he reached an orgasm and watching him cum made me feel dizzy suddenly. He pushed himself as deep as he could and stopped moving for a while, groaning near my ear and making my lips part. When he became limp on top of me again, I started running my fingertips on his back and down to his butt. He leaned his forehead against mine and kissed my nose gently before I finally opened my eyes.
"Ten minutes. Ten fucking minutes. And it's a miracle I lasted that long." he laughed.
"I barely lasted five, you're good!" I admitted with a laugh, making him smile more.
He looked down at me and I could swear his eyes were sparkling. This was perfect. It was everything I had ever hoped for. It was everything I had ever wanted.
"Now sit down." I proposed, raising my eyebrows. "Let me ride you." I shrugged. "Unless you're not ready for round two?"
"Oh you know me, petal. I'm always ready."

THE MEDIUM
Name: Wu Xinyue
Age: 33
Pronouns: she/her
FC: Liu Qian Han
BIOGRAPHY
There was a time once, long ago perhaps, when it was quiet inside her head. A time when dead were dead and the living were living, and the lines between them did not blur. Her childhood was happy, but she was a quiet child, seeking company of those older than her, flocking to her parents and her grandparents, not quite enjoying befriending the children. In fact, while she was open hearted and lively, there was an aggressive side to her that often made others misunderstand her; especially those close in her age. But, she was all right with being alone, or being in company of her family - never once regretting her isolation from everyone else. The bonds she’s shared with her family could have been broken by one thing, and one thing alone, and it was at the beginning of her teenage years that she’d known loss, known death - and it brutalised her, hardened her. Gone was the silence in her head, gone was the lively and vivacious girl, and what became of her was a withdrawn, isolated shell of a person. It was not an easy transition, but death was never meant to be easy, not for the living. The more she struggled with reining in the voices, the more she lost control over it, over herself, and finding a way to vent it had not been easy. At first, she tried shutting them out, building a wall around her mind that no spirit could seep through; but, such defensive mechanisms scarred her more, paranoia and anguish being the price to pay for the moment of sanity - yet, it was in those moments, without the voices, that she had been the most insane - and after a while, she stopped resisting, and in return they stopped keeping her awake at night.
Leaving her hometown was a lot easier than she’d thought it would be - if only it was that easy to leave emotions and memories behind. But, the distance from her birthplace had seemed to have calmed the spirits in her head and once she’s finally put the beloved ones to rest, she’s decided to travel the world, maybe put her skills to good use. She was educated and intelligent, but she couldn’t really settle on a job - and then she heard about spiritism and the occult, and so she blindly stuck a finger on the map and decided to try her luck wherever it landed - in London. She thought that London would be different, but while it certainly wasn’t Beijing, or Istanbul, or Paris, it wasn’t what she’d expected of it to be. Everything she had known about the spirits had come from them, a knowledge coming from the primary source soon made her into something of a celebrity amongst the others who shared her… talents. She was not one of the Masters, wanting to stay away from the limelight, desiring to work alone rather than with others - for a while, they pestered her relentlessly to join them, but after they'd seen how she would not budge, they gave up. But, she was also not one of the Charlatans; she did not do what she did for fame or cheap scares - she did it because she could and because she was damn good at it.
Her prices were never steep, but her services were not cheap either - they were at the middle, ever changing, ever befitting her clientele. She didn’t care if the noblemen came to her house, or if the beggars asked for a fortune; she greeted them and sent them away in an equal manner. Her talents laid more with the dead, with mediumship and banishing of the spirits, but she keeps the true extent of her madness hidden - and so, she focuses more on tarot cards and runes, choosing to read fortunes rather than conjure the departed beloved. It has been five years since she’s come to London, but in all that time she’s always been polite and courteous, but never friendly - mysterious and withdrawn; not to nurture her image, but to shield her heart. Still, she is somewhat friendly with her regular customers, occasionally going as far as to invite them to stay for tea after a reading; but those offers are rare and far in between. She has always felt there was something strange going on with the town she’s settled in, something dark and sinister lurking beneath the surface - one look at the Tower told her everything she needed to know, and the anguish in her head had not left her for a week. Yes, the town was riddled with pain and death, but so was every other place on Earth. After all, it is wise to remember that not all of the departed ones move on - and not all of the spirits are benevolent.
THE GHOST
They always change. Traipsing around until she sends them away, sends them to cross over to another life, or sends them to Diyu where they belong, unworthy of living again until the filth in their soul is washed away. The current one, he helps - the face white as death, with a pale hair cut to his chin and a dark, black velvet attire that resembles a lot like those portraits of old kings, of a time long, long gone. He seems to be sailing from the 14th century, but he doesn’t seem to want to cross over - he doesn’t want to abandon her. We know each other, he whispers, and I am here to guide you, stay with you. And warn of the horrors that come knocking. He never calls her by her name, but nicknames her as the Necromancer - or simply calls her my Lady.
CONNECTIONS
THE FRAUD: It started as an annoyance, and truth be told she would’ve been more than happy if it stayed as an annoyance. She knows they are as false as it gets, the real Charlatan, but since they are younger than her, she’s… started to feel a little protective of them, sometimes taking on a role of an involuntary mentor, veiling it as a dare. They are young and wild, vivacious and proud, and often they remind her of her; of who she’d once been, before death claimed her. She has to admit that once annoyance turned to exasperation, she’s found that she rather enjoys their company. They are the one of the rare ones she ever truly bothers to invite for tea, or ever really bothers to ask if they’re doing okay.
THE WAIF: They’ve known each other for a short while, but she’s pretty fond of them. Perhaps, if she would let herself feel vulnerable, she’ll admit that she regards the other as something of a friend. With the darkness that settled over London, she is terribly worried about them, given how the victims were of the same profession. She often offers them to work with her, whether it is a measly task such as brewing a pot of tea, or helping her scrub wax off her table for an additional few coins - anything to make sure her friend remains safe, especially if she knows they would have to return to the brothel at night, when the hour is dark and the streets are overflowing with monsters - and monsters made of flesh and bone are worse than any ethereal spirit.
THE PEELER: He’s the newest acquaintance and his eagerness to advance is quite amusing to her. But, she sees the wariness in his eyes, sees the horror that marred his innocent soul and sees how the fear begins to eat at him. He was the one who found the most recent victim and she knows it was a sight that would never stop haunting him. She knows he’s visiting her for a routine check, the questions about whether or not she’s ever been in contact with a dubious person, but as of late his offer turned more tempting - and strange. She’s still uncertain whether to accept it or decline it, but she does like him well enough to attempt to help him - if only to soothe his fears.
THE WIDOW: They’ve known each other since her husband has died. The grieving widow held up a lot better than the society of London had liked, and so tales of her questionable morale and the alleged “poisoning” of her husband started to circulate. She rolls her eyes to the rumours, and she’s very impressed to see the widow feels exactly the same. They’ve struck a lazy, easy friendship that started with a séance and ended with a glass of gin and shared tales of life, happiness, woe and death; and in her, she’s found something of a kindred spirit.

When I’ve finished picking up my apartment (something I have to do tomorrow before I go insane) and it’s all nice and tidy. When I clock off of work the day/night before my day(s) off, which will be tomorrow for me :)
32. Star Wars or Star Trek: Both. I loved Star Trek first, but now I lean toward Star Wars
33. Paperback Books or Hardback Books: I used to say only hardback, but I’ve changed my ways....I refuse to discriminate based on whether a book is paper or hardback
34. Handwriting or Typing: oh god, both. Typing is nice for stream-of-consciousness writing, and handwriting it good for when you really want to get something to stick in your mind.
35. Velvet or Satin: I’m indifferent?
36. Video Games or Movies: Movies
37. Would you rather be the dragon or own the dragon? jfc...this is hard. I think I’d rather own one. But I would have to live in some secluded cabin in the woods in northwest OR or southwest WA
38. Sunrise or sunset: sunset. I like the colors then a whole lot more
39. What’s your favourite song? there are literally so many songs that I love, it’s hard...I guess it shifts based on my mood atm? my current mood is telling me Lucifer by SHINee (I get to see them live in six days I’m gonna throw up I’m so excited)
40. Horror Movies yes or no: no thank
41. Long hair or short hair: hoo boy short. short short short
42. Opera or Theatre: As much as I would love to see a live opera at least once in my life, I’m gonna have to say theatre
43: Assuming the multiverse theory is true and every story ever told has really happened somewhere, which one of the movie/book/tv show/game/etc worlds would you pick to travel to first? It’s a tossup between HP and LOTR
44: Are you scared of thunderstorms? Why? oh hell no I love them
45: If you were going to move in the next two months, where would it be and why? casually ignoring the fact that I’m moving to a new apartment in like five months I would love to move to Oregon. Like, that’s the dream. I love the climate and just general atmosphere and the creativity there? I visited Newport a couple of years ago and just fell in love with it. I know I said earlier that I prefer forests to beaches, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like beaches, too lol Plus, Oregon as a whole is a lot more liberal than my current and past towns and I think I would feel more at ease if I moved there
New Question: 46: What is one superpower you should never be allowed to possess? Why?
I tag: @yurionquads @glowingdean @bela-talbot @prayforjensen @royalrowena @envydean (y’all don’t have to do it if you don’t want to, of course)

My Realization Story
Okay, before I get too far ahead of myself, I should probably note a few things.
1. For 33 years, I identified as a cisgender, heterosexual male. 2. I didn’t come out until my dysphoria overwhelmed me entirely.
All of these stories of my past are so rosy and gorgeous when viewed through the lens of my current self, now almost ten months into hormonal transition, having fully accepted and embraced my gender identity. Thing is, at the time, I had no idea why I felt the way I did.
I did not have the guidepoint of “You’re a girl, Harry” playing in my head like so many seemed to.
I felt like a guy who’d been cursed with extreme femininity, destined to end up in a prison or insane asylum for sexual deviants.
As it turned out, I’m just trans. ^_^
We join this story in about 2008 or so. I’m deeply dissatisfied with my body, and stress- and anxiety-eating have seen my weight balloon.
I became increasingly disconnected from my body as it aged and masculinized. At the time, I couldn’t grasp that the ever-present girl in my head was in any way related to my growing distaste with my body. I deeply disliked who I was slowly turning into, and it was eating me alive. I shut down emotionally, tried my best to ignore what I saw in the mirror, and took to joylessly masturbating into the toilet bowl every morning to rid myself of a sex drive that I no longer wanted.
I remained in this state for years, slowly watching my long hair recede and thin, while coarse, black body hair began growing everywhere else on my body. I switched my underwear to men’s bikini briefs in an effort to minimize the movement of my genitalia, which were becoming more irksome to me with every passing month.
I tried losing weight to become more comfortable with my body. I was successful, losing some 80 pounds (nearly a third of my body weight) but it didn’t help my anxiety. Then, seeing the joy that men seemed to almost universally express when they added strength training to their weight loss journeys, joined them. I started a progressive lifting routine, and again, found success with it. It was great for a little while, but as I started to bulk up, I found that my dissatisfaction with my body only grew. I wanted to be lithe and slinky, not barrel-chested and brutish. I eventually became overwhelmed with disgust and stopped, no more mental energy left to go through the horrific rituals of weight training.
Time dragged on and 2015 rolled around. I’d become involved in the cosplay scene following local and national-level cosplayers and marveling at their impressive costume work. This was a community I felt like I could get behind, as gender-bends of popular characters were common, and it wasn’t uncommon for a male cosplayer to transform himself entirely (breast forms, hip pads, etc.) for a female character cosplay. Some were extremely impressive, truely blurring the line between genders. That year, I decided to go to my first (local) Comic-Con as Katniss Everdeen, a character that I felt (and still feel) a deep connection to and love dearly (along with Jennifer Lawrence's portrayals in the film series). I chose her most-androgynous outfit from early in the first movie (pants, riding boots and her father’s jacket) and Katie braided what was left of my shoulder-length hair into a beautiful swept braid falling across my right shoulder.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from my cosplay, but in the end, I decided that it was the experience more than anything else that I really wanted. I finished off a prop quiver and bow and spent two entire days as Katniss. The cosplay was a complete hit. I felt like a million bucks; I felt at home. The fog of depression lifted from me for two glorious days... until I looked at the pictures of my cosplay. The whole time, I'd been the girl in my head, and seeing the pictures of a sad, fat man in a Katniss costume caused a severe reaction in my mind.
I hadn’t liked looking at pictures of myself before, but this was the first time my mind had actively rejected a picture of me. "This isn't you," my brain said, "That's someone else playing Katniss."
It took me by such surprise that I kind of shut down again for a few months, until something else happened in the wider world: Caitlyn Jenner made her dramatic reveal on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine. Many people had many reactions to her reveal, but mine was one of respect and awe. "Wait, we can do this now? This is okay? We can be the girls we are in our heads? And it’s called being transgender?"
In an instant, my world view was turned upside down. The strongest voices in my mind against transition had been silenced: the voices of “gender is immutable and fixed” and “even if you could, you’d never escape your inherent male physique.” Say what you want about her, but to come from a background - Olympic-level sports - that was so hyper-masculine, so impossibly male... and to transition so completely that you could pose on the cover of Vanity Fair in your 60s and pretty much slay it... that was impressive. Her coming out pushed me to start exploring my gender issues once again.
Buoyed by this imagined societal acceptance, I explored the only way that I knew how to at the time: videogames. I had always played RPGs as female characters, but when I logged in now there was a new sense of authenticity behind my actions. I chose armor and costumes that I liked, and that I thought I’d wear. I chose party roles that I enjoyed, rather than that I thought would be expected of me as a ‘male’ player. “Support is for girls,” I’d hear. “Yep,” I’d reply to myself, and smile.
A lot of people talk about videogames as escapism or as a crutch for underdeveloped social skills. For me, I used them as a gateway into my preferred reality. Me, as the girl I’d always wished I’d been. I became more social, more outgoing, and had more fun in my virtual lives than I’d ever had in the real world. I could be myself without judgement, at least, so long as I didn’t push it too far. I never joined voice chat, I never dated other players within the game worlds, I never engaged with other people beyond the surface, because I was still afraid of them finding out that I was just a guy with a girl in my head.
I would become annoyed when new armor sets came out for only male characters, or when promotional pictures would feature male players and characters. The hook was set: I was starting to embrace my identity. I started logging an enormous amount of playtime. I was putting four or five hours a night into these games and loving every minute of it. I had elaborate plans to build a high-end gaming rig and be one of the first adopters for virtual reality, in the hopes that it would get me closer to being the girl.
It was during one of these marathon sessions that it happened. My character was in a capital city, selling off some of her recently-looted wares, when I was suddenly overcome by a mental image of a girl in a gorgeous black ball gown. The girl was me. Have you ever had one of those dreams where you know exactly who you’re talking to or looking at, but you can’t see their face? That was the sensation here. She was me. She was tall, with long, dark hair. She was wearing a black velvet ball gown and held a black-and-silver clutch in her left hand. To this day, I can recall the image with crystalline clarity. The thing that took my breath away, however, was the feeling that accompanied her: correctness. Me as a girl felt intensely right; more right than getting married, even than having sex.
Mere moments after she -- I -- appeared in my vision, memories flooded into my mind: my announcement in fourth grade of wanting to be a lesbian when I grew up, my mom scolding me for swinging my hips while I walked, the ever-present girl in my head, my disappointment every time I was reminded by the mirror that I don’t have swinging hips… These moments and a thousand more crystalized suddenly in my mind like I’d just pulled back a curtain and turned on a spotlight.
I was so shocked by the image, the feeling and the sudden rush of memories, that I dropped my keyboard out of my lap and actually said to the empty room: “Oh my god, I think I’m trans!”
