dash games are fun!! i love being tagged in 'em!!! i especially luv doing the ones that take you to those quiz sites. althoooo it seems like uquiz now dominates those links (back in MY day, ppl would just find random af quizzes across the web from all different sites lol) and i feel bad because like, i LOVE being tagged in dash games - but sometimes i won't do certain uquizzes ones. USUALLY that's ONLY if i get a bad result for either of my muses. there are some uquizzes that hit them RIGHT ON the nail. but theeeen... i also tend to get lots where it's just so inaccurate and i see little point in posting them if they're inaccurate. ^^; i always feel bad for not doing quizzes i was tagged in tho - especially scared ppl may not wanna tag me anymore if don't do one. xD

★  PRONOUNS: He/Him/Dude/Bro/My guy/etc.

★  BEST EXPERIENCE: I... honestly can't think of any? I've had more bad experiences than good. Maybe I'd say when I finally found my footing with independent OCs with Izren and ended up buddies with Bear and his whole entourage of writing partners. I've joined up on Discord servers with people I write with in the past, but I've never had fun like we do on his server. Plus we play D&D!

★  PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION: Discord is my go-to if you wanna reach me. I use Tumblr IMs too, though with how they're about as functional as a Bethesda game, I often ask if we can move over to DMs.

I've got my Discord tab open 24/7 on both my laptops, plus I have the app on my phone. I lurk a lot. But nine times outta ten, I'm more of a reactive replier, almost always messaging back rather than messaging first.

★  MOST ACTIVE MUSE: Kouki, always. Getting into the mood with him is so stupidly easy. Put on any rock music, think about any series, play a video game, whatever- and there's always something that makes me do that Leo pointing meme and think "Hey, that gives me ideas for that white-haired little gremlin!"

★  EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS: I've honestly lost track lmao. Ballpark estimate is 11-13 years since I started around 2010 to 2013, with my intro to roleplaying being those ancient Quotev quizzes and the chatroom website Chatzy. If I remember correctly, my first actual RP was either in a Sonic chatroom or a Naruto chatroom. And I've never even watched Naruto- I was going on nothing other than the Fandom Wiki. You could even say that my cringe-worthy OC there was the first iteration of Kouki. Only reason I still remember that chat was one of my writing partners died of some terminal illness. Basically drowned in her own blood.

After that, I moved here to Tumblr. It started with Pokemon blogs... then Steven Universe (where I saw them actively out-toxic the MLP fanbase and drive them out of the fanbase)... then I was the sole Soul Calibur roleplayer... then I made a Skyrim OC based on the Kid Dragonborn mod... then I fell back onto Naruto and joined the fanbase here with more cringy OCs... made my other, still on-going Pokemon blog about eight-ish years ago... joined the JJBA fandom, which was and still is the best fandom I ever joined... then I joined the RWBY fandom... then the BNHA fandom... and now we're here!

★  RP PET PEEVES:

I'm gonna cheat a bit and leave two of Bear's peeves, if only because he completely hits the nail on the head. There's just no better way to put it without rehashing things.

Excessive commentary blogging. Before it was just a lot of dash commentary that had me going 'eh'. But in recent years it's gone past that. I've become disenchanted with blogs that become largely commentary for whatever it is they're doing on Discord. All power to those Discord groups doing what they do! But it reaches a point for me that I don't really see them as indie, and it can feel insurmountable trying to interact with them if you're not entangled with their zig-zagging plotlines.

Blog hoppers. Because for a slow burner and long hauler like myself, they're the most impossible people to write with! Which is a shame, because a lot of the hoppers I come across do seem to have some writing talent to them!

Fandom RP events. When I was younger, I used to love the idea of these big events with their own plotlines and moving parts that anyone could participate in if they wanted to. Galas, holiday parties, festivals- stuff like that.

That lasted until 2018, when I kickstarted Bernadotte's original JJBA blog and brought back my long-running Pokemon blog. In the span of something like 5 months, eight separate RP events happened back-to-back in just the JJBA fandom alone. You can only try to participate and be entirely ignored for so long before it sours your whole outlook.

And I mean entirely. I remember writing twelve different starters that people asked for, responding to numerous open threads and starters, liking many different event starter calls, sending asks- the whole shebang. Not even once did I get anything back. If you enjoy fandom RP events, more power to you. But I've been burned too many times to even want to try.

★   PLOTS OR MEMES: Doesn't matter to me! Either way is great! Back in the day, I relied heavily on memes without any ideas for plot, just sending in whatever sounded like something my muse would say. Basically "Oops! All Memes!" Now? I put more thought into things. Overthink things too.

Receiving memes? I almost always ask if there was a reason or an idea driving my partners to send in that specific thing 'cause you never know, y'know? They usually do. But it really doesn't matter to me if they do or don't. I'm just happy to write with y'all.

★  ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)?: There's a little bit of me in every one of my muses! An example off the top of my head? Kouki is based on how I was as a kid his age. Corbin was inspired by my high school years, my love for old books and poetry, and my music tastes. My Pokemon OC was straight-up a self-insert when I started that blog. Tino came from my RWBY days and my absolute love for weaponry.

I guess in terms of roleplaying outside of forums, it would have actually been Gundam 00 and Code Geass on Facebook. On tumblr, I started more or less in Bioshock when it came to rp blogs like we have now. It was right after infinite came out!

Dash games are always fun - it doesn't matter which kind, whether it's the more in depth headcanons associations ones, ones where share more about ourselves as muns, the Buzzfeed quizz ones like the animal associations, the Picrews. While it is true that some are 'lazier' and easier than others like the Picrews, I still find them all to be really fun and it genuinely does mean a lot that someone thinks to @ me in it and include me.

Would love to explore Ryuji trying out other sports - I did talk about swimming but it'd be fun to look into other sports as well - baseball, basketball - I think the great thing about Ryuji is that he loves sports as a whole so he'd be really flexible and open minded and it'd be fun to see him out of his element for once.

I swear. Using tumblr on my phone is arduous work... You create a huge list one day and accidentally remove it from your recent apps and boom.. you need to rewrite everything.

Yet, a lot of good things happened in this long while so I musn't be lazy in documenting it.

Once again, these are in no particular order.

Things I liked about these days #23

1. I got first place in the nationals🥳🥳! I didn't expect to be the champion at all. I even got a minus 2 on my final score. What a lucky break

2. Adding to the first one, I have been given both a medal and a plaque. I'll need to give the plaque to my university though.. sadly. It's the first time I ever got first place in a competition. It was in a nationals no less! I didn't even get first place in the regionals. I was only able to enjoy this opportunity due to the one who got first place in the regionals backing out.

3. Extra emphasis on that minus 2 haha! It wasn't enough to stop me MUAHAHAHHAA!

4. MY FATHER IS FEELING WELL AGAIN! WOOHOO! EAT DIRT TRIGEMINAL NEURALGIA!

5. My father recovered relatively quickly. That carbamezipine is really strong. I hope that whoever invented it gets like triple the applause that the greatest inventors got

6. My friends are friends again (⁠◕⁠ᴗ⁠◕⁠✿⁠). It's so nice being able to help my friends get together. Hehehe.

7. Our thesis concepts are coming along nicely. I'm such a smart thinker-thunker :3

8. Our zombie apocalypse has come to an end on it's 50th night. It was the most fun I've ever had in gaming that didn't feel like I just wasted 30 mins of my life watching another "teammate" run it down after a few games.

9. Now, I've created another Minecraft modpack – a fantasy adventure one with spells and classes. We're a few days in and it's setting itself up to be even better than the zombie apocalypse since there's no stress and it's mostly just us vibing.

10. Gaming with friends is nice. I just love how we're 3 idiots trying to figure out what in the flying megazord caused a zombie to get 13 thousand health. It's a blast to deal with these 'intentional' enemies (I am a very smart modpack maker that takes into account all situations possible).

11. I know for certain my friends are there for me. It feels warm. Everyone is trying to push the other up then reaching down to pull to another up. It's weird being in a healthy friend circle, but I like it!

12. I accidentally oneshot a friend of mine while playing the modpack. Turns out my dash deals a lot of damage. My friend also oneshot me... by jumping on my head.... This modpack is wild. Needs a lot of rebalancing tho. Stupid modpack maker can't even balance one class lmfao

13. Finished all 6 quizzes in two subjects in one sitting. EZ 😎

14. Turns out I still know how to do derivatives and slopes. Did not expect it since it was nearly 3 years ago. Then again, I'm having an easier time learning trigonometry in this last year so perhaps this is my luck pushing itself to the limits

15. The lessons thus far in our competency appraisal are easy to understand and brain digestible. Managed to discover a calculator technique for dividing matrices easier

16. I like the little things. For example, my friend usually tells me to correct my posture.

17. We reviewed in my friend's house and we got free fud

18. It feels nice to get along with everyone in a classroom setting. There hasn't been much face-to-face classes, sadly. But now that we have exams, all of us are meeting. I think I'm getting along with everyone (at least, I hope I am)

19. I suck at crimping wires. It's definitely fun to try it. I felt much, much better when my friend (who is good at crimping) had a hard time using my cables. It was like some wave of relief washed over me with the message "Not all skill issue" in the sea weeds

20. I got new shoes! Black shoes hehe. I luv them. Simple and stylish

21. It feels nice teaching my friends and classmates about electronics for the exam. Or maybe it's just an ego thing.

22. We watched the FNAF movieeeeee. To be completely honest, plot-wise, it sucks ass. However, for a fan of the series such as myself, it definitely is an enjoyable watch. It's true to the theme of being stupid but entertaining. The biggest shame in the world is that Markiplier was not in it. I am massively disappointed

COMMON: Daka’s Bell. This ball joint, used to connect mechanical limbs together, is shaped almost like a bell. Though it may seem dainty, it can be used to carry an unimaginably large amount of energy. If connected to one's arms, then one will lose all feeling in them. And all strength in one's legs will dissipate if such joints are connected to them. Connect this joint to one's skull... Ah, hatred, pain, madness, pride — none of these will be washed away. Most fortunate.

UNCOMMON: Puppet Strings. Tubes that were inserted into the mechanical puppet's back. The colors that flow within them are sometimes dull, & at others, vibrant. The contrast is so great as to be fearful. They provided power to the mechanical puppet, & at the same time served as its strings, controlling it & binding it. Once the support of these tubes is lost, the puppet becomes as weak as a newborn infant, barely able to even move.

RARE: Wide Brimmed Hat. A hat from a far away foreign land, harkening to the days of old culture. Ideal to wear when the weather seems foul, as it’s wide brim protects it’s wearer from rain, snow & sun. LEGENDARY: Ash Covered Heart. A glass heart, peeking out from a small pile of ashes. It’s is cracked & worn, colored in black & red, beaten & abused, shallowed in grief.
