Some quick bios I came up on the top of my head:
Ri'anoh of the Baranu >> Commander Ryan Torres, a Komodo Dragon/Veiled Chameleon mix from Venom. Born from a priveleged family historically linked to Venom's gentry in the past, now struggling to maintain any sort of social standing. He agrees to join up the Venomian Army and command a small fleet to serve under Dr. Andross in hopes Andross will keep to his promise to a better Venom, as he feels there is no other way for Venom to improve its desolate state. With all that said, he cannot help but feel and empathize with Corneria's hostility and wishes, so very deep down, a diplomatic, non-violent alternative can be met. If only Corneria would listen....
Kuraqa of the Buwaya >> Commander Crocador "Croca" Blaine, a Nile Crocodile who, unlike Ri'anoh, loathes Corneria entirely and is completely 100% behind the Venomian cause. However, while he is willing to fight for Dr. Andross, he is completely untrusting of him purely based on his Cornerian heritage and that he basically usurped his position in Venom through his exile. He also hates the other simians, or frankly, anyone who isn't Venomian at all. If Venom falls, however, he will contend that Corneria is the superior power and that Andross and the Androssian Empire is a failure. He just won't like it.
Gi'utoh of the Kawauso >> Dr. Gunther Colemann, a North American River Otter researcher aiming to search the full histories of various societies of the Lylat system, especially in Titania and Venom. He is rather neutral in the conflict, hoping to stay out of the Wars entirely. However, he seems to possess certain innate... abilities that either Corneria or Venom might find useful in battle. He'll just have to keep running and hiding.
#let's see how long this'll last#I can do human AUs too#but only Gi'utoh has a canon gajinka version because he's already adapted as a WoW OC#I have no idea how to convert Ri'anoh and Kuraqa#I do have a gajinka version of Camille/Kamaya tho

//You nerds are tempting me to try Lylat!Verse of my Ba'tala chars again.
#okay I know Lylat-adapted Ri'anoh would be named Ryan and is probably a Venom commander#who is sympathetic to Corneria but loyal to his people in Venom#what would Kuraqa be?#maybe a much more hardcore Venom loyalist#what would Kuraqa's adapted name even be?#might go back to his 90s name Crocador lmao#also what about Gi'utoh#what are otters living in Corneria like?#maybe he's a scientist?#do Lylatians even have religions?#can he be a priest there?#maybe a military chaplain??#I am not making a new blog for this#I still have taht old dusty Venoms OC blog I never touched

Urunei is a concept that is open for discarding because whether or not Urunei will exist in the canon continuity is dependent on if he can serve the narrative without being extraneous. Unlike other family members of the major characters in the main story, Urunei's existence will change the narrative direction of some of the characters (namely Gi'utoh and Ezamina)--hence why, for now, he's mostly an RP character in noncanon continuities. In the current build of the main story, part of the drama that wedges Gi'utoh and Ezamina apart in an unhappy marriage is the fact they are reaching 50 and childless. They tried three times, but the first two were miscarriages and the third a stillborn. In some RPs, Urunei's birth late in their age was something of a fairy tale in itself, evocative of the young hero born to elderly parents before he runs off and has adventures of his own. In others, however, one or the other of the couple is killed before a fourth child could ever be born. In WoW, Urunei was actually born in as the only son of triplets, the younger sisters named Uma and Una (WoW!Urunei was named Ulbert). But for canon? It's up in the air. Mostly because we're still working on the main Siquotia story. For certain, though, if Urunei is to be born, then he'll definitely be born relatively late in the first half of the story, then grow to be a young preteen by the second half, where he becomes a much more prominent character. But we'll see first.
Urunei appears more like a Sea Otter, like his mother, and definitely has his mom's height and athletic prowess, but he inherited his River Otter father's eyes, slim build, and skin/fur color palette.

Here is pretty much the reason I have a reputation for my love for OTTERS.
Grand Royal Head Councilor Gi'utoh of the Kawauso (Otter) People served his people longer as a part of the Sheabih (Priest) caste rather than as royalty, given his ancestors were members of the clergy among the Lutrine people. While he was training as a priest at a young age, he demonstarted what the Hitoh understood as Song traits: adult maturity despite one's age, wisdom beyond his years, and even genius-level understanding of engineering and Rune reading despite never being exposed to either. Word spread out fast, and it quickly reached the Grand King at the time, Leikoro. Through Grand Royal decree, Gi'utoh was moved from his home to serve the Grand Kingdom--though it was met with much resistance, as most of the Lutrine people were not exactly fond of the ruling Dog Family. Long story short, Gi'utoh's little home was razed, and it was made as big of a show as possible to other villages and towns as to what happens if you oppose the Grand King and his Song.
Much to the disappointment of the Grand King Leikoro, Gi'utoh is NOT the Song; he may have had the intellectual attributes, but absolutely none of the powers nor connections to the Gods, even as a part of the priest caste. In absolute fury, the Grand King was about to execute the otter boy for deception and treason against the Grand Kingdom when his life was spared by Pakah's father, Ho'atokah, who was a part of the Grand Royal Council, and thus, one of Leikoro's advisor. Rather than waste the boy's life, Ho'atokah urged the Grand King to make use of whatever talents the boy has in servering the kingdom--ESPECIALLY because he can tinker and read Runes like a Mikra (who are sought out by everyone in the continent). Thus, Gi'utoh was directly trained since his youth to serve the Grand Kingdom with his talents, eventually climbing the ranks as he is placed in positions to secure the borders and increase law enforcement within the territories through weapons inventing. It was Gi'utoh who recommended stronger trade relations with the foreign Himmelia, including the imports of gunpowder and the means to make it on native soil. As Gi'utoh continues to serve the Grand Kingdom, he'd eventually continue to serve even Leikoro's son, Makoro, increase his power and security of the territories all over Siquotia, and be promoted to Head Grand Royal Councilor at his deathbed before serving his son, Grand King Hikoro.
Gi'utoh has a reputation of being a bootlicking sycophant among the Otter People, due to never returning home or doing anything for his people's favor. Other tribes and clans not in favor of the ruling Dog Family see him with disgust, due to his Mikra-like intelligence and knowledge, while even allies of the Dogs see him as a bit of an enigma and a force not to be reckoned with; anyone who opposes the Grand King tends to vanish mysteriously if Gi'utoh happened to find out. Many rumors spread that, perhaps, Gi'utoh is actually plotting to overthrow the Dogs in revenge for his village, thus being the fiercesome but loyal bootlicker he supposedly is. Gi'utoh seldom ever talks about himself, his own feelings, nor does he express them even through body language; his facial expression never changes, his posture and movement is always stiff and machine-like, and his vocal tone, while a deep baritone, is otherwise rather hollow and monotonous. Even Madahon can't figure him out, with or without his powers--in fact, Gi’utoh has no link to the Life Stream, which is where Madahon draws his connection with Bu’hay, the God of Life.
Gi'utoh, in short, is not a person you'd want to have your back turned against for one moment.

@failedandrossa Liked for a short and simple starter!
"Kind, good sir..." says a small, petite otter in what seems to be researcher's garb and with naught but a backpack bearing a few journals and books. He doesn't even seem to be armed. "I believe you landed your vehicle onto a very critically important research site. I would like to kindly ask of you to leave." He doesn't raise his voice or make any movement or expression as he asks--his tone is hushed and monotonous.
#oh no Granga gone dunnit#time to play a side of Gunther/Gi'utoh I don't often do#teehee#failedandrossa#[Muse: Gunther Colemann]

💥 Are there any emotions your OC doesn’t know how to deal with, doesn’t understand or hates having to feel? Any reason behind this? [Your choice which OC]
Another Ask Game
If I haven't made it obvious in my descriptors for Gi'utoh during writing or RP, it should be obvious in my art--Gi'utoh has only one expression, and it's a monotonous stone-cold neutral one. One top of this, he never yells, he never runs, never heaves, never makes any sort of gesticulation, etc. So to the question if he doesn't know how to deal, understand, or hate having to feel, it's anything that can spark some kind of response that breaks his stoicism or stiff disposition. Joy, anger, sorrow, etc. All of the above. For why he is like this, it's simple: He's unsure of what will happen. Very unsure. And there are many things that can happen. He's practically afraid to express himself.
Throughout their childhood, Ri'anoh and Ezamina have often attempted to crack any kind of expression out of Gi'utoh--hopefully joy. A simple smile or a little laugh would be considered a major goal. So far, neither have achieved that. At least to their memory.

These were my attempts at putting in my entries for Inktober last year, but not only was it difficult to do 1 a day (each entry took 3-4 days to complete), but my home/work environment in general would be too stressful to get anymore done. I’m proud of these nonetheless, especially the second entry, which was the most challenging to work on.

Sermon Among the Reeds (3/6)
"Yes, It did. As the Creation of the God of Life multiplied, the God of Order and Chaos grew threatened...
“.... and jealous."
"Yes! It told the other Gods that Creation will spread and take over all of the World and destroy it! The Elemental Gods grew angry too and tried to fight back!"
"You know your stories. What happens next?"
"The God of Light... the God of Light....
"The God of Light tried to stop everyone... by throwing the Stars from the night sky...."
"Yes?"
"And... it broke the World. Many died. Even the God of Life got really hurt."
"Yes. And do you know what happened after?"
"....Not really..."
"Well....
"The Mother and Father were furious over the Gods' fighting. They were punished by being sent within the Streams of the World--the Godstream--where they are cast from the Titans' eyes and hidden from Creation. The God of Life felt so sorrowful for Its Siblings that It pleaded on Their behalf to fix the Broken World. And hopefully it can be done...."
"Through the Song!"
"Yes. The Song. A prophet formed from the lips of the God of Life who can seek out the broken Rifts of the World and close them. So many attempts throughout history have been made.... and yet so far..... the World remains broken....."

Sermon Among the Reeds (2/6)
"Long ago..... out of nothingness beyond our world, beyond our time, of all time...
“The Mother Titan and the Father Titan came together discovered a shining gem. They fought over the gem... but came to a peaceful agreement to share it. They fell in love, and eventually, the Mother bore six Gods: the God of Light and Darkness; twin Gods of Air and Earth; twin Gods of Water and Fire; and then God of Order and Chaos.
"When the Gods were born, the Mother and Father Titans gifted this gem to their children, and with it, the Gods were allowed to shape this gem to their liking. With this gift of the gem came the Domains--the Domain of Light and Dark; the Domain of Air; the Domain of Earth; the Domain of Water; and the Domain of Fire. As there were only five Domains to gift, the Titans can only grant a piece of each of those five to the God of Order and Chaos; hence It would possess some dominion of every other Domain to Its liking. The Gods then worked together to create the World. The God of Light and Dark provided the Sun, Moon, and Stars; the God of Air provided the skies; the God of Earth provided the soils and mountains; the God of Water gave us the seas, oceans, lakes, and rivers; the God of Fire granted us heat, flame, and thunder; and the God of Order and Chaos made sure everything held together in great harmony.
"But to the everyone's surprise came a seventh God born from the Mother and Father: the God of Life. For some time, the other Gods, or even the Mother and Father Titans, had no idea what they could do with this God of Life--especially because It would not have a Domain of Its own. But a miracle happened... do you know what that miracle is, Bulaklak?"
"Yes! Yes, I do!
“From the lips of the God of Life came a Song... and the Song bore the first Man and the first Woman."
"Correct. The First Man and First Woman then bore children, and those children bore more children.... and you know what happened after that, yes?"
"Yes... yes I do. The God of Order and Chaos.....
“....Got angry...."

Sermon Among the Reeds (1/6)
“Ezi?”
“Yes, Bulakulaku?”
“I.... I want to hear about the Way of the Qaju. How... how it’s different from how the Tao worship the Gods.... especially if you left out the other Gods...”
“What do you mean?”
“You said the Way of the Qaju is about the Four Gods of the Elements and the God of the Sun... you mean the God of Light, yes?”
“Oh, uh....”
“I can take over, Miss Ezamina. Yes, we primarily worship the Four Elemental Gods and the God of Light, which most Hitoh understand as the God of the Sun.”
“What about the Two Moons?”
“Lesser Gods in our pantheon. Though I understand among the Tao that the God of Light, who is our Sun, also commands the Two Moons?”
“Yeah... Why do the Hitoh worship differently? Are the names of the Gods different too?”
“Yes, my friend. Though not without reason. I'm afraid the details may bore you, however..."
"No, tell me! I want to know! I'm curious!"
"Are you really?"
"I was taught by the priests in my village in Kali about the Gods. I wanted to become a shrine keeper. But...."
"....I see. Well. I will warn you. I am told I am very monotonous and droning and I may bore you to tears regardless."
"(Giggle). You're not boring, Pobu Gi'u!"
"Am I really not?"
"I don't think you're boring! Tell me about the Gods and why our people worship them differently! Why you think the Sun and Moons are different! And why you don't include the God of Life and the God of Chaos and Order!"
"....Very well. Let me tell you a Tale of the Ba'tala..."

Ezamina’s Lament (6/6)
"Oh..... if only I can bloom beautifully in here freely and not be trampled beneath soldiers on a daily basis...."
"You do bloom beautifully here."
"Excuse me?"
"I mean you do not have to worry about being trampled beneath soldiers here too. You can live as freely as you wish here at the Abbey."
"Oh... I wish that is the case, Pobu Gi'u. But I have duties to my family I need to fulfill. I do not want them to be further disgraced."
“.....”
"Very well...."
