Don’t mind me rotating how Jay realized his feelings for Cel only after they were nearly killed, made into a robot, and then dropped off with the note saying Zane was alive.
Legit the way I have his AU done up to start the ship off, he only realized his feelings for Celexa after their broken, mangled body had been dropped off with the note at the start of the Tournament of the Elements. Dude spent most of S4 working on repairing them, but never stated his feelings until about S6 (shortly after he managed to defeat Nadahkan, also very AU for the Jay x Cel/LED Storm ship)....
So I just keep thinking about him trying to repair Cel with his MacGyver ways between fights in the Tournament of The Elements, whispering to himself almost constantly, as if Cel’s still there and able to hear him while he slowly works on repairing their new body. Dude doesn’t even know if it’s Cel, but he feels it is- and it’s vindicated after he manages to boot them online for the first time, but man S4 for Jay in the LED Storm universe is just--- so much WORSE.
