Summary: noticing you're having a terrible time, Terzo comforts you the best way he knows.

"Caro?"

Tears run down your face, your breathing shallow and quick. It's happening again.

You barely take notice of Terzo squatting next to you as you sit, curled up in the corner, your whole body shaking. Your mind races, you can't focus on a single thing. Fuck, fuck, fuck, why does it have to happen to you?

"Ragazzino, you're shaking. I can tell you're not doing okay." Terzo places a tender hand on your shoulder. His touch grounds you back to reality, and you realize he's there.

"I'm s-sorry" that's all you can say between the tears that keep falling, hiding your face in your hands, embarrassed. You hate when Terzo sees you like this, at your most vulnerable.

"No need to be sorry, cuore mio. It's okay, your Papa is here. You are safe with me " He says with a gentle voice, wrapping his arm around you, pulling you closer into a hug. "Now, let's do what we do when you have a panic attack, shall we? Let's take some deep breaths, si?"

Your stiff muscles soften when you realize he's pulling your head close to his chest. Almost instinctively, you snuggle into his sternum, pressing your ear against it. Then you hear the sweetest sound in the world: the soft thumping of his heart. Your favorite song.

"That's it, mio bello ragazzo. Now put your hand on my stomach and breathe with me, okay?" Terzo commands softly and you comply, inhaling deeply as you feel his stomach swell up. Your ear on his chest, you can hear the air coming in and out of his lungs, all while his beautiful heartbeat resounds in the background.

"Very well, caro, you're doing very well. Breathe in... Breathe out..." Terzo whispers as he kisses your head. "Ti amo così tanto che mi fa male..."

You don't know how many breaths you take until you finally calm down. But it doesn't matter. It feels like time stops when you're wrapped in Terzo's arms, that special place that truly feels like home to you. Sometimes home isn't four walls, but two mismatched eyes and a heartbeat against your ear. And Terzo knows how much you love listening to his heartbeat - that pretty little tune that's so uniquely his, and such an intimate part of him, that makes you feel like you and him are one. Your own heartbeat has slowed down, and when you notice, you realize it's syncing with his.

Two hearts beating as one... Is it just some silly romantic trope, or is it a real thing?

Terzo pulls away slightly from the embrace.

"Are you calmer now?" He asks.

"I guess so... But can you hold me for a little longer, please?" You plead.

"Of course, tesorino. Come here." Terzo smiles, patting his chest.

Cómo estás?? tu arte, tus cuentas y todo tu contenido relacionado con Argentina, fue lo que sanó mi relación con nuestro país, y cómo logré valorar todo esto de la nacionalidad, patria y el hecho de ser argentino. Al ser más joven, hace unos años, tenía la mente super lavada con un fanatismo poco sano con países imperialistas y colonizadores, y nadie de mi familia y menos otras personas de nuestra edad me dijeron: che, mira te enseño el valor de apreciar nuestro país porque te mereces aprovechar lo maravilloso que es nacer en Argentina

Hasta el día de hoy admito que me da vergüenza decir esto aaaaa porque no me corrigieron antes, y ciertas personas me alentaban como si estuviera bien no apreciar nuestra cultura y tradiciones

Pero lo que realmente me sacó de ese lugar tan turbio de que las películas más que nada, literalmente me hicieran pensar que lo mejor son los países imperialistas, fueron artistas como vos y esa bellísima nostalgia en carne propia de nuestra comida, canciones, esas ganas de viajar por las provincias y conocer más a nuestra gente, recordar nuestras experiencias en común de la infancia, etc.

Resumen: siento que reviví como un ave fénix como argentino jsjaja, así que gracias por tu arte, que representa nuestro país en tus personajes favoritos 💛 y seguí así!!!

¡Hola Tumblr! (otra vez.)

Dijimos que íbamos a usar esto de vez en cuando para dar updates de cositas que estamos haciendo de forma más extendida, y han pasado un par de cosas: la primera es que nos olvidamos de que esto existe; la segunda es que nos estamos tomando unas vacaciones de verano muy ricas para volver con fuerza de verdad en acabar la temporada.

Más o menos seguimos haciendo lo mismo que los últimos meses, pero todas las cosas que hemos hecho han avanzado aunque sean las mismas. En Junio (el mismo dia del concierto del Burn Spring Sonido Fest. Gracias My Heart Your Mouth por invitarnos) acabamos de grabar el EP que saldrá en cuánto esté listo. Por ahora tenemos ya casi preparada la canción que será el adelanto y tenemos muchísimas ganas de que la escuchéis, nosotros estamos emocionadísimos de que la escuchéis. Si alguien tiene buena memoria auditiva (si eso existe) y le gustaba la canción que tocamos al final de los últimos conciertos, estará de enhorabuena. Sabemos que hay algunos que lo estarán :)

También ya que estoy un poco más charlatán de lo normal, quiero hablar un poco de como fue el proceso. En general ha seguido un poco la línea de como estamos haciendo las cosas con Ultraghosts desde el principio: no sabemos muy bien como nos lo montamos pero al final todo sale bien.

Al principio no teníamos ni siquiera ni idea de como lo íbamos a hacer: que si otra vez grabarlo en casa todo pero mejor, que si ir al local dónde ensayamos (shoutout a El Patio) y grabarlo allí, que si ir a algún local a grabar. Pero un día conocí a Are de MHYM (hola Are) y gracias a él tuvimos un sitio dónde empezar y de allí partir. No mucho después Jaume Alberti de Pardals (hola Jaume) también se ofreció para darnos una mano para grabar este EP. Así que quise hacer un junte de estos productores porque me gustaban la forma de grabar de cada uno. Desgraciadamente, por la agenda de Are solo ocurrió en las baterías, pero ya solo con eso él pudo aportar algo, que es lo que quería, y ya sabíamos por donde empezar.

Estas baterías fueron grabadas la mañana del 13 de Abril. Si alguien por alguna razón es fan nuestro o tiene buena memoria recordará que eso fue exactamente el día después del bolo de la Sala Slow. Justo el día de ese concierto era el cumple de un amigo mio así que no pude evitar salir a celebrar tanto su cumple como mi concierto (¡que fue un jodido sold out!)

El resto de sesiones, que ya fueron solo con Jaume, también ocurrieron en fechas muy curiosas: el día después del concierto en la Freedonia con Ultrasueño, y el día antes del concierto de Can Ricart, y el mismo día de ese concierto por la mañana. Esos últimos días fueron las sesiones que grabamos las voces, por eso en ese concierto me sentí un poco peor con la voz y el screamo, cosa que me jodió mucho porque era el día que hacíamos por primera vez la cover de El Gran Danés de Viva Belgrado y no pude estar a full pero bueno, supongo que a la próxima saldrá mejor.

Y en general el EP va así, ya todo grabado, y solo falta que Jaume acabe de mezclarlo y Ricardo masterizarlo. Tomará un tiempo ya que queremos que suene lo mejor posible, y no lo lanzaremos hasta que todos estemos contentos con el resultado. En el resto de apartados de conciertos estamos mirando ya no solo alguna fecha en Barcelona interesante si no también de salir de la ciutat comtal y movernos por la península. En general este año podéis esperar a que hagamos algún concierto más, tenedlo por seguro :)

Por ahora eso es todo, espero que cuándo salga el EP (y si me acuerdo de Tumblr) pueda volver a hacer un post más hablando un poco más en profundidad de todo. Obviamente aún hay cosas que aún no podemos decir porque rompería la magia. Aunque si que diré una cosa que ya mas o menos dijimos una vez en una historia: en una de las canciones tenemos una aparición estelar de Carlos a.k.a. Ziviar, el guitarra del gorro de pescador de Hummm 🫂

Para acabar, decir que el día 20 de Agosto tenemos una cosita pequeña guay para anunciar :) ¡Nos vemos en algún momento!
