19. zombies or vampires?

look okay ordinarily i would say zombies because I like more zombie horror movies than vampire movies i LOVEEEEEE the concept of viruses and diseases spreading outside of human control and rotting peoples brains and turning them into predatorial man eating monsters that's awesome as fuck. But i do think vampires are sexier. in many ways zombies are erotic and i could go on about this but when it comes to sexy ... i cast my mind to jacob anderson as louis de pointe du lac <3

I think that there is likely Something. Out There. Whether that thing is what we think of as Aliens is more complicated. Like . ohhh if I told you what I sometimes believe you would think im kooky as fuck. Basically if aliens were confirmed to exist I wouldn't be surprised but I'd also be expecting Something Crazy. Like it's Just aliens (extraterrestrial life forms that have their own cultures and civilizations on other planets) I'd be expecting something more and weirder. Don't even worry about it .

4. a story idea you haven't written yet

okay this is very Random and totally self-indulgent but the massive cinephile in me kind of luvvvs the idea of mike majoring in film 👀👀👀 ik very popular fandom consensus is that mike studies english in college but like . part of me thinks the duffers are gonna forget about this and Project (bc lets be honest they kind of already do that) and send him to like. usc or something. ANYWAY. meet cutes have always been very inch resting to me and I have always wanted to try my hand at one and what better way to do that than mash cinephile mike wheeler with blockbuster employee will byers 👀👀👀👀👀 I am Looking. this needs to be properly fleshed out bc right now it is just a compilation of scenes in my head that are not coherent in the slightest but I do want to get to it eventually. ... this is truly the niche-est thing I've ever come up with for the sole reason of the amount of References it will contain so I doubt anybody will be able to fully decipher it unless you are Me so it is staying in the drafts for a hot minute . it's liek such a specific fic but it is for me and me only and I am holding it and nurturing it and cradling it in my arms. 🩷 also completely unrelated but Im pretty sure I came up with this idea when I was at the eras tour while I was waiting in line. the power of tswift compels me 🙂‍↕️

12. a trope you're really into right now

ok this kind of stumped me because I don't think there's something I'm inherently into rn BUT I luv luv luv the concept of a love story or just two people communicating in like. non traditional ways and across different timelines. I don't really know if that makes sense at all or if it's more of a plot point than a trope but it makes sense tome. I recently read on the same frequency by oldfashionedmorphine which does this trope so wellll I am YELLING. defo recommend 💯💯. it's inspired by the movie frequency which is also exceptional and that I ended up watching bc of the fic. also bee.... so so excited to see where in the woods somewhere leads bc since it is inspired by dark.... 👀 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! different timelines you will Always have my heart 🩷🩷🩷

i. i Thinkk — and i could be wrong here — but i think the first fanfic i ever read was prisoner😭😭 if any of you were dolan twin’s girlies growing up, then you probably know what i’m talking abt.. but for those that don’t, it was basically like ethan killed his girlfriend (and i think he tried to kill grayson too?? i can’t fully remember tho) and he was sentenced to death by lethal injection, but then this girl (who was the daughter of one of the co’s at the prison) was a psychology student and it was like apart of her course or wtv to go counsel an inmate, and it so happened to be ethan.. they end up falling for each other and blah blah blah yeah you get the picture😭 reading that at like 11 years old definitely changed my brain chemistry

ii. i would definitely have to say i’d be a cat like FORRRR SUREEE !!!! either a small, little domesticated baby, or a big cat — i’m not too picky abt that cus i love them all🤗 but i think it’d be super cool to be a snow leopard🙂‍↕️ (RUBY MENTIONED‼️🔥 + also i was actually a snow leopard for halloween when i was like 8 or 9)

OUUGHH... Hard to tell... Probably when she came back to Kalos from her trip to Alola with Cassius to she how big Emma is... I think I told you that I was thinking that maybe Cassius let Emma take care of the lab while he was helping Xylo so probably seeing how much she has grow up 🥺 ALSO IF SHE SAW THE OTHER KIDS. I had in mind that they fear her because of how intimidating she is sometimes but in reality, Xylo has a soft spot for them, mostly X and Trevor.

🌧️ Rain: What was the saddest moment in your lore for you/your self-insert? Who in canon knows about it?

I wouldn't say it was the saddest (because I cannot properly think about something sad for her) but I can tell you about the most frustrating moment and it was when she had to fight Lysandre and couldn't properly stop him, making her think she couldn't protect the kids or Kalos in general. When she had to fight against him, he didn't even attack her Pokemons, he went directly to attack HER, making it harder for her to defend herself, not to mention she send her Pokemon to destroy anything he could use (from her research) for his own benefit. In the hospital she would blame herself for not acting better before, for not being good enough to protect Emma from being manipulated and lastly, she would blame herself and feel bad for letting Cassius take care of her.

Xylo was always very strict and sometimes even rude to Cassius but there he was taking care of her with so much affection... It made her break down and just tell him one day about all the things she was feeling. This is something that strengthened their relationship even if they were not together yet and Xylo was still healing from Sycamore

I LOVE ask games. I had to think long and hard to come up with the answers to these, so let's get into it!

🍎 - Fave Devil Fruit power?

This will probably not come as a shock, but Law's fruit is by far my favorite. It's not because he's my favorite character (and, in fact, his devil fruit is part of the reason why I started liking him in the first place), but rather because the Ope Ope No Mi is genuinely such a powerful and cool fruit.

I also really like Brulee's devil fruit. For a girl who, since childhood, has chosen Teleporting as the superpower she'd like to have, the Mira Mira No Mi (or at least that's what I think it's called) sounds amazing.

So, yeah, those two are my favorite!

😎 - Funniest joke?

I'm not sure if this is a joke per se, or more of a gag (would it be considered the same??), but I find it HILARIOUS that Bartolomeo's pirate crew is basically Luffy's fanclub. Every single one of them got together simply bc of their love of Luffy and nothing else (many, if not all, became pirates just bc of him) and their fucking ship is just LUFFY.

I love it. I think it's fucking funny.

💓 - Which character do you relate to the most?

I'm not sure if there's a specific character I REALLY relate to, like, see myself in them. BUT! I do relate to Usopp's insecurity and feelings of inferiority regarding the rest of the crew. He tends to feel like he's not good enough, too much of a coward, too weak, specially when compared to Luffy, Sanji and Zoro, and that's something I do relate to.

🙇🏻 - A headcanon about (Nami)

I LOVE Nami. Her and Law are my absolute favorite characters in all of One Piece. One of my headcanons is that, since she likes to act like money is all she cares about, sometimes she struggles to let people know she cares and thinks about them. This results in her having kind gestures, but disguising them as a second thought or even bothersome.

Let's say one of them is visibly busy, then she'll make herself a cup of tea just so she can have an excuse to make one for her friend. Or she'll see something one of them will REALLY like when she's out, and she'll buy it regardless of how much it costs. Later she will act like it was SO bothersome and SO useless but here you go, I guess 🙄 (while inside thinking "I hope you love it").

Nami can be very expressive sometimes, but she also had a very difficult childhood, in which she got used to pretending to be someone she was not and think stuff she didn't really believe in. In spite of the Straw Hats being very warm and welcoming, sometimes it's still difficult to drop the act and let people in fully.

☔ - Scene that made you cry the most?

(not spoiler free for those who haven't watched Marine Ford and Dressrosa yet)

Here is a top three of scenes that made me pause the chapter so I could take a moment to cry:

No. 3: Corazon's death.

No. 2: When the soldier toy Kyros was holding his wife in his arms as she passed away (and she couldn't remember who he was).

Top 1: Ace's death (and I still tear up with every flashback of it).

44. do you collect anything?

yeas i collect beer bottle tops :) i keep one of each beer i drink or other people are drinking around me and it doesn't matter if they're the same brand as long as they're different colour/design. I also don't only do beer just anything in that style like if cider or pop comes in a glass bottle I'll keep the lid

i can't lie i love a classic black tea. english breakfast... darjeeling.... im also partial to lemon and ginger :)

ive probably been to more book stores than record stores and my longest standing job was in a book store so im kind of #biased. it's a hard decision though .

15. Something you learned this year

Apparently I can write smut. Which was both incredibly relieving and also terrifying at the same time?

Or even the fact that people like my writing. Prior to posting fics, only high school English teachers had read my writing. So I’d never really gotten a response on it before. Didn’t know if it was any good. Didn’t really give it a worth while shot. All my friends were writers so I just assumed I was the odd one out.

But then I got tumblr.

And posted a fic just to see if it was worth continuing.

And learned that maybe I can write a little bit.

And that if I keep going. Maybe I can write a lot one day.

17. Fics you’ll continue next year

I’m gunna use this as a planned fics and continued fics question to keep track for myself cuz I will forget ��😂

So!

I currently have two requests (literally how wild is that!!???) in my inbox that I have to brainstorm. One for JK and one for the UTWT couple.

I will also hopefully be much more active in updating TWWWBAATTA. (Ideally I get at least 6-8 chapters out this year)

As well as a collab that’s been in the works since maybe August?? It’s currently on hold due to life on both ends, but I love love LOVE the concept and the plot and everything about it so I’m excited to dig into that! It will also probably be my first darker work, so I’m stoked for that too! Trying out a new genre.

I have an (undisclosed member) fic in my head right now that I’m plotting out. (I’ve talked about it with you but I wanna keep it under wraps until I at least have a rough draft). It’s a winter themed fic so ideally I’ll have it out by at the latest, February. But if it’s later in the year, it’s later in the year.

And lastly, for planned works that is, I’m toying with the idea of potentially expanding the TDWV universe due to the wonderful reception of the world it takes place in.

23. Fics you wanted to write, but didn’t

The previously mentioned collab fic. I wanted to have at least one chapter of it out by the end of 2023. But then I got a new job and moved within a month of each other, and went from working one shift a week, to full time, and then the holidays happened and I ran out of free time.

My New Years Resolution this year was to try and write more/ create more. And I would really like to stick to that if I can. But with quality over quantity.

And then the undisclosed member fic, also previously mentioned. I’d hoped to have it done over my winter break from work. But timing and plans said no!

🔥 Flame: Do you/your self-insert have an enemy? If so, who is it and why are they so hated? What was a particularly heated moment between you two?

This. This man right here, Lysandre, he is the reason of at least 20/30 of Xylo's problems.

So they do have some history. Back when Xylo was younger, she used to be a student of professor Rowan, he told her she could work with Sycamore in Kalos since he thought both had the potential to work together. It's in this time when she meets both Lysandre and Sycamore, she had her doubts about Lysandre, not totally paying attention to the weird stuff he would say.

Then, Xylo fell in love with Sycamore, something that she would never talk about but show it sometimes but due to how much time Sycamore passed with Lysandre she started to be a bit jealous, not because of Lysandre but mostly because she would feel left out and notice that sometimes he would do it on purpose. IT'S KINDA SILLY I KNOW, but this hate would start to grow more the moment she noticed that Lysandre was doing something behind Sycamore's and her back, when he noticed she was supicious on him he would step out of working with her and Sycamore how they used to do so.

Xylo would start a whole lab by her own, that's when she hires Cassius as a computer technician and her assistant, doing her own research but still working with Sycamore on his projects.

i drink both tea and coffee. i will primarily drink cold sweet tea, but if i’m sick, sometimes i’ll drink hot tea with a little bit of lemon. as for coffee, i prefer it iced or cold brew, but i’ll never shy away from a hot cinnamon dolce latte.
