     Gray orbs flick up to meet the demon’s, glaring at her from under a creased brow. It seemed whatever knocked him up had put him a sour mood, too. Or maybe he was just hungry. Who knows.

     His sleeve was pushed up over his shoulder, exposing his arm completely, along with the numerous scars that littered it. Shallow scratches bleeding crimson broke the surface of his skin, and he patched many of them with a bandaid and nothing more.

     ❝ I stubbed my toe . ❞ He replied, voice dripping with sarcasm.

     He knew that trying to cut anything harder than iron would leave only leave him with scars on his skin, and yet he still tried to cut through a steel chain-link fence. Now he’d have plenty of marks all over his arm to remind him, not that it would stop him the next time he forgot.
