There came a muffled scream of surprise as Nezuko was hoisted up off the ground. Frantically her feet kicked through the air, scrambling for purchase on something, anything. Aside from not wanting to fall, she desperately thought of how to somehow get Inosuke to cease his strange training regime. All attempts at tightening her hold on him failed, but if she could just… swing her body a little, she could— AHA! ❝ Hm-hmph! ❞ As the small demon’s legs clung around the elder’s waist, her expression shifted to one of delightful triumph. It was over for Inosuke! Hurriedly she clambered further up the beast boy’s back, and once situated, her arms shot up and—SMACK! Down her tiny hands came, smashing atop the foul mask’s bulbous eyes in an attempt to blind and stun. Poor Inosuke.

Hiii! Idk if it's ok to request rn. It's ok if you don't take this one but I was thinking if maybe I could request seperate hc's of the Kamaboko squad if they had their own child, but the child is born blind but they inherited their dad's enhanced senses like smell touch and hearing. Plus how do they deal with their kids, guide them, just over all how would things go? O3o btw congrats on 600!

Tanjiro Kamado

Tanjiro knew his kid had inherited his smell abilities. But he didn’t know theirs were much better until they turned 4. Actually, he was looking for something, and (C/N) heard him mutter. ‘’Here dad !’’ They said, bringing him what he was looking for.

‘’That’s impressive, (C/N) ! How did you find it ?’’, ‘’With my smell !’’. Tanjiro blinked a few times. ‘’Wow, yours is really much better than mine !’’ He said. ‘’Maybe it’s because I can’t see so I can focus more on it.’’ His child replied. They were surely right.

When (C/N) was born, it was obvious that they were blind. At first, they would often think neither Tanjiro nor you were in the room, and they would cry. But throughout time, they got used to your scent, and could tell when someone was here or not.

‘’I’m glad they got your smell abilities, Tanjiro ! I’m much less worried.’’ You had said once you both realized the child could live easily even without seeing. ‘’And they’re the child of two pillars, I’m sure they’re stronger than most children.’’ You had added.

As soon as he realized his kid had his abilities, Tanjiro wanted to stimulate them. He would make them smell many different odors in the same time, distinguish strong and weak scents in the same dish.

‘’Dad ! Uncle Itsu and Uncle Inosuke are outside !’’ (C/N) exclaimed, after giving their dad what he was looking for. ‘’You can smell them from here ?’’ The kid nodded. ‘’You can also smell demons, dad !’’ They added, as if they didn’t understand what was so special about them.

‘’I can smell if there’s something inside when I’m inside, but I can’t smell what’s going on outside when I’m here with you !’’ Tanjiro explained. And when he opened the door, even before his friends had knocked, they were, the 3 of them, impressed with the little Kamado’s abilities.

Inosuke Hashibira

Inosuke freaked out when the child was born, and even more when you realized they were blind. ‘’But how are they gonna do ?!’’ He had asked. ‘’They’ll surely develop their other senses much more, Inosuke.’’ You had said, to try to calm him down.

Actually, Inosuke was still really worried about it until he realized ; his child could recognize people by touching them. It started when they were still a baby, they would recognize if it was Inosuke or you who was holding them.

‘’Beast Breath, Beast Breath, Beast Breath !’’ Inosuke cheered, as a 4 year old (C/N) was focusing to imitate their dad’s abilities. The child gasped after a while, making Inosuke tilt his head. ‘’Did you get something ?’’ He asked.

‘’Is mommy/daddy in the garden ?’’ They asked, excited. ‘’Yes ! Beast Breath ! Beast Breath (C/N) !’’ Inosuke cheered again, throwing his child in the air to play with them. ‘’(Y/N) ! Come back !’’ When you found out about their abilities, you cheered on your kid too.

One day, (C/N) asked his dad what color their eyes were. ‘’Well, it’s (e/c), just like mom/dad’s.’’ He had replied, a bit embarrassed -poor kid didn’t know what it was ! ‘’But overall I look more like you, right ?’’ The little kid had asked right after.

‘’Can you tell by your touch ?’’ Inosuke asked, impressed and proud. The kid nodded, touching their dad’s and their own face in the same time. ‘’Oh, you took off your mask, it’s better !’’ They said.

As they proved their faces were alike, (C/N) looked at their dad, as they had figured out where his eyes were by touching him. Inosuke hugged them, telling them they had mastered the Beast Breath. ‘’Your heart beats faster when you hug me, I can feel it through your chest.’’ Inosuke was even more impressed.

Zenitsu Agatsuma

‘’Dad, are you training ?’’ Zenitsu heard from the other side of the door. He opened it, seeing his kid looking at him. Indeed, despite being blind, (C/N) had actually managed to situate where people’s heads were with their breath.

Indeed, they had inherited their dad’s hearing abilities. So, they could hear everyone’s hearts and breaths very clearly and thus distinguish where their heads were. ‘’Did you hear my katana ?’’ Zenitsu asked, his kid nodding happily.

‘’Your hearing abilities are much better than mine, (C/N).’’ He congratulated them. Yet, it had been quite a journey before the said kid was able to live that nicely despite their blindness. Actually, Zenitsu had been so nervous about it.

However, he realized he didn’t have to be worried about it when one day, his kid recognized Tanjiro only from his heartbeat. Indeed, the man had visited the Agatsumas, and (C/N) had gasped happily.

‘’Uncle Tanjiro !’’ They had said, going to hug him. ‘’Hi, (C/N).’’ Tanjiro had replied. ‘’(C/N)... how did you recognize it was Tanjiro ?’’ Zenitsu had asked. ‘’With his heartbeat ! It’s really original, it’s like... pure ? Do you get what I mean ?’’

The blonde had nodded furiously. ‘’Yeah ! It’s literally what I said when I met him !’’ It had made (C/N) laugh. ‘’See ? I told you there was no need to worry. They’re the kid of two pillars.’’ You had told him.

You entered the room he was training in. ‘’Is mom/dad here ?’’ The kid asked. Zenitsu smiled. ‘’Yeah, did you hear their heartbeat ?’’ He asked happily. ‘’No, I heard yours. The sound changes and it goes much faster.’’ That made you laugh. (C/N) really had even better hearing than their dad.
