Not sure if you’ve been asked this before, but what are some of your favorite characters from the newer regions? I’m not asking for like. Lore and analysis and your thoughts on the broad strokes like. What are just some things you’ve enjoyed! I really liked playing dnd with Clorinde, and I really like the flowers in Fontaine. They’re very pretty- not just the collectibles but the basic ones on the hills. I really liked Petrichor and Remuria- and I didn’t know the first thing about it. It was just… stunning. And I loved the music. So, what are some things that brought you some joy?

playing dnd with clorinde was so fucking funny, i really liked it as well! and yeah, remuria was just something else. i am SO weak to good music holy shit

as for characters, i love navia so fucking much. every time she's on screen i'm just so glad to see her. finally got her so now i get to shoot things with her too ✌ i really like how they're getting much better at involving other characters in the story quests, it was so nice to see wriothesley and neuvillette (and the others of course) in sigewinne's

gonna stick with just rec'ing my gallavich fics for now bc tbh i do not have the time or the energy to go back through all of my fics rn, so here's my top 5 fav gallavich ones i've written:

a lot of road ahead of us -- the first ever gallavich fic i wrote which was a post-4x11 one shot that i started writing the second i finished season 4 because i couldn't get it out of my head

half-grown -- a canon divergent 5x01 fic where mickey goes with ian to the gallagher pool party at the end of the ep, there's really no plot just vibes but it's very cute and fun imo

headed straight for the floor -- a later seasons one shot where mickey finds frank drunk at a bar and feels a weird sense of responsibility for him now that he's technically related to the guy. i have no explanation for this one, the idea was just there in my head one day so i wrote it down and i like how it turned out

sweetest of the sunflowers -- mickey buys his husband flowers because it makes ian happy. that's it. that's the story.

when the sun goes down -- a lifeguard au that absolutely possessed me once i started writing it and then i blinked and had written 12k in one day so yeah idk i guess i like this one a lot, i think it's very fun and cute little read about the boys and the beach

are these the best fics i've written? maybe. idk. probably not. but they're my favorites that i've written (so far) and ones that i still go back and read sometimes when i'm in certain moods. if you like/read them, let me know what you think<3

It just gets really messy from there😂

" they say, with a smile that accentuates the crease in their nose-- forming a wrinkle on the bridge that travels to their eye. " the drink here isn't amazing but-- it'll get you, so isn't that just good enough ? " certainly to them, it's enough. hand to the seat beside them in the bar, they make their offering to the stampede; awaiting his response. // bones' internal jester is jiggling its bells, wondering if vash know its them.

He stares at the menu board and looks down in his hand to count his single double dollar for the third time in a row as if it would triple in value with willpower alone. Perhaps his frown was too pitiful in the middle of a busy bar as a drink slides down the counter. He's so touched by the gesture of good will he could cry. He looks up towards the stranger , forgetting his thanks as he observes ( not a stranger ? There's something familiar and warm about this person. ) — but Vash does not forget a name , much less a face , even with the relentless erosion of time.

The only explanation is he never placed the face with the friend.

Finally remember his manners , he calls out a cheery " — Thank you ! " Poison never even crosses his mind , and he sips it without hesitation , a satisfied sigh as finally the gift of liquid settles in his stomach. Mediocre or not , he's grateful for the balm to his dry throat.

Vash doesn't know if this friend's name carries a bounty , or perhaps a weight that they've unloaded for the day by shedding their visage. Is it a secret , or is it something as simple as a wardrobe change ? Contrary to popular belief there are a few things even Vash knows to leave alone.

.... but it's bothering him ! It really , really is !

With a furrowed brow , he stares harder , leaning in as he taps his glass in thought. That demeanor , the height , that voice ! Epiphany hits as Vash points to a decorative cow skull mounted on the bar's walls , " You ? You ! That's you ! "

my prof just explained on the syllabus that he’s included more points in the class than we needed to pass, so we could skip up like?? 20 small assignments/quizzes/participation!! and still get a very high grade!!

the idea was that we could focus on assignments that played to our strengths - only do the participation stuff if we like to talk out loud - only do the quizzes/readings if we want to do the class remotely - only do online discussions if we like to talk and share opinions but struggle with anxiety in class ect.

and that’s cool enough but then he pulled up DnD character sheets with drawings he’d done of these hypothetical student player classes and how our various accessibility needs could be gamified to ‘max out’ different aspects of the class to get high grades and like!!!!!

hell yeah!!!! let’s treat accessibility in higher education not just as a necessity but as the fun, engaging, and creative aspect of learning that it is!!! I love this!!
