HIS MIND IS FILTERING IN AND OUT OF CONSCIOUSNESS, but he thinks his father's gone. There's no more pain; a light, a glow, where he'd been. Could it be — ❛ Seraphiel? ❜ His voice is hoarse, raw from screaming. She appears in front of him, his guardian angel, his saviour. His fingers reach out to her light, half-expecting to be burned, a logical conclusion related to the sun ( but she doesn't hurt him, not ever, she takes the pain away ) and somehow she's right there, right in front of him, inches away. He nuzzles into her warmth, pressing a soft kiss against warm flesh ; a silent thank you. HIs mind slips from him again.
