hi nic! i'm currently creating a discord / tumblr hybrid rp and i was wondering if i could get your opinion on something. do you think it makes more sense to have the players have threads in their individual muse categories ( ie. a thread / sms between muse a & muse b would be under either muse a or muse b's category ) or a separate thread category or a separate server for threads / sms. thank you so much!

omg hi !  i started setting my servers up with separate categories for threads — so i have a category called 'messages' for all groupchats and like individual sms threads & then a category called 'dashboard' for para-style threads (it also has a channel for open starters and a thread tracker channel) 🥰 

if ur looking to condense your server a little, u might also consider creating one big category where everyone has one channel per muse that they can put stats/headcanons/bios in + a musings and visuals channel within that category that everyone can use — i have that in my server rn,  it’s called ‘roster’. it’s a little less overwhelming than having ~3 channels per muse, u know ?

the separate server is also a viable option  but i feel like u should be careful with it because people may get too invested in the ooc server & stray away from interacting ic !!  also i personally love them and think they are so neat but a few of my friends get a little overwhelmed when they need to check so many servers per day for one group, so that may be something to keep in mind !
