                             Chrissy is quiet for a moment as she sits beside Steve, trying to consider his words. So they were both kids who came from cushy families, they grew up in the same small town, and they'd known each other for what felt like forever. What wasn't there to understand? It's just... Life was more complicated than what was on the surface, no matter how loud it was. Chrissy was popular, her family was rich, everyone seemed to like her, she had the perfect life on paper... But things were very different behind closed doors.

But she couldn't expect Steve to know that. Still though, she wanted to understand if she didn't already.
