Lara couldn't help but snicker at her new friends words, watching with a raised eyebrow as he moved to sit beside her. "Your Captain sounds like a good man, then. I'm amazing, if you couldn't tell," She joked, sticking her tongue out for a moment with a cheeky chuckle.

She then hummed with a nod, agreeing with him with a light response of, "Get drunk or go home sober, am I right?"

She thanked the barkeep as he slid her drink to her, giving another soft hum though in appreciation this time, as she took a small sip. "Hell yeah, that's the good shit." She side-eyed Zoro with a small but genuine smile, grateful at the small token.

"...Thank you. It's nice to have good company, for once."

At his question, she glanced down at the book she'd stolen with a slight frown. She took another sip before admitting in a slightly embarrassed tone,

"Neither, actually. I'm just... wandering. No place to go, ya know?"

Her tone changed quickly as she continued,

"Which is fine, I guess, it is what it is! Besides, I get to encounter interesting people this way - though, I will admit you are the first green haired person I've come across."

Lara gave him a genuine grin when he gave his name, connecting the dots in her head with a slight shake of her head. She finished off her drink before giving a chuckle, placing the glass aside as she rests her forearms comfortably on the counter.

"Ah, he's not wrong! Life without meat is no life at all," She joked lightly, her grin growing.

When her new found friend spoke to the bartender, she couldn't help but lay a hand over her heart with a teasing comment of,

"Damn, consider me flattered, Zoro! I don't mind a bit, though I won't lie, I already paid ahead," She gave a sheepish chuckle and drummed her fingers on the counter while giving the barkeep a side-eyed smirk. He flinched and moved to his pocket and she laughed, waving him off. "Keep it - consider it a tip."

She then lightly kicked out her leg, tapping the empty stool beside her with the side of her boot as she offered,

"Feel free to join me if we're gunna drink the hard stuff."
