I imagine Harry complaining a science project, and even Norman is interested in it. But some bullies destroy his project and Harry’s teacher fails him for not having his project despite explaining to the teacher what happened. And when Norman finds out, he will have some words to say to that teacher 

Harry isn’t a genius at science like his father or his best friend from his childhood, but if such an opportunity showed up, he’d probably try a project that fits into an area of science that he IS especially interested or good at. It’d be something to make his father proud, and I think Norman would be interested to see how Harry fares on it. (While Harry does have more potential to help with the business side of Oscorp, Norman would want to entrust the entire company to someone who is similar to him and won’t ruin the business. And if Harry does show some scientific know-how with this project and can do it on his own, the signs of the future would be promising).

In the event that you mentioned, I think Harry would be terrified to tell his father out of a fear that he’d greatly disappoint him (again, this version of Harry greatly looks up to his father, and no other scientist or businessman–like Tony Stark–could compare to Norman Osborn in his eyes). But Norman would find out pretty quickly since he can read his son well. He isn’t upset with the boy, but he now has personal business to take care of…

As I said before, Harry in this universe is attending a private school, so Norman can easily get some background info on the teacher and make some very good threats involving getting fired if he doesn’t at least give Harry credit. He can even show Harry’s paperwork and some photos taken to prove that Harry WAS in fact doing the project. While the pay for teaching a private school is middling and most of the kids are entitled little brats, the teacher is quick to agree as there’s so little job opportunities. (Plus most jobs involving science in a Marvel world are probably really hard to get into, especially in the New York area.)

As for the bullies? Well, our old pal the Green Goblin paid them a visit. Not only were their homes/apartments half destroyed, but they were traumatized to the point that they can’t see any green and purple color combinations without being reduced to a complete wreck. It’s best not to get into full detail as to what happened.
