ohhhh man, idk . . . from this morning forward. writing that one was a roller coaster of emotion. loved it, hated it, cried over it, everything.

going by kudos, it's the day the world didn't end, which makes me really happy because I love that one. sometimes i love writing fluff and that's what that one is.

i have so many!! okay, there is one i'm working on where mulder decides scully needs something nice, so he just lets himself into her apartment and makes breakfast in bed for her (pre-dating), and then that kind of becomes a thing. it's a sweet and funny one, light on the angst, because i'm torturing their feelings elsewhere and feel like they deserve a bit of a break.

😬 Which of your fics would you be most horrified for friends, family, or coworkers to stumble upon?

the smutty ones. the others, i don't know, i'd prefer if they didn't know, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if they found one. but i don't need them to know that i like to use my spare time to write about two borrowed fictional characters getting it on.

�� What leads you to consider a fic a success?

feedback. i write what makes me happy to write, but i mean, i see all the posts about writing for yourself, and yes, def don't write to cater to an audience, but i don't mind hearing that i did well. when i put something out there, i want it to have some kind of effect, like making somebody smile, and hearing that one of my fics managed to do that is what makes a fic successful for me. brightened someone's day a little bit? goal achieved!

Tw for blood and acne mention but this is so gross yet fascinating to me 😭 I need to research it honestly but I have cystic acne, I'm going to be 20 this year and it's only just starting to clear up, and that's mostly because I have a consistent skincare routine. It's not the worst case in the world but it's left scarring across my face, arms, back etc and is regularly irritating and distracting. I am also in the process of self diagnosing with autism, though I am planning in future to get an official test and examination done in order to get educational and financial benefits while I'm a student and in order to understand myself better, and one of the stims I believe I have is skin picking (if its not a stim it's def an anxiety thing to relieve tension lol) so any bump or vaguely spot/blackhead like mark on my skin gets squeezed, picked at, or scratched until its red or bleeding and I do this subconsciously while I'm anxious or focusing on something else (lichrally just caught myself doing it while writing this post helpppp 😭). Sometimes I get a particularly large cystic spot that I pop without question, usually on my back/shoulders but also sometimes on my face, and usually after popping it it either goes away, scars, or forms a second smaller cyst that's just filled with blood. It's really gross but not painful or sensitive like the previous cyst and if I pop it, it will bleed then eventually heal and leave a darkish scar. I can't remember getting a large acne cyst on my right cheek anytime recently but I must have squeezed something in a way my skin wasn't happy with bc about a week ago I noticed one of these blood-filled cysts was forming. It was fairly deep under the skin but you could see a purplish shadow and it was slightly swollen. It became more swollen over a few days and when I poked it it felt squishy and I became convinced that if I left it it would not heal but fill up more and cause a huge lump to appear on my face. So I started picking at it by scratching the skin and gently squeezing and did this whenever I was distracted. About an hour ago(?) I peeled off some dry skin from around the area that had probably been loosened by the scratching and was watching tiktoks while picking, when I popped it. Literally was doing it so subconsciously that I was surprised by my hand being suddenly splattered with blood.. and the feeling of blood dripping down my face. I mean.... it was kinda satisfying but also gross as hell so I got a tissue and wiped up the blood, and tried to gently squeeze as much out as I could so it wouldn't actively bleed. I've now covered that tissue w my blood and put a plaster on my face but like... its so crazy to me that my body just does that. It just makes a pouch in my skin that it fills w the stuff that keeps me alive for seemingly no reason??? But anyways I'm now scared that I'm gonna have a dark scar abt 5mm wide in the middle of my cheek 😔 it will probably happen but luckily I've got a really good barrier repair cream (la Roche posay's cicaplast balm) that gets rid of acne scarring, and when I get payed i might get The Ordinary's rose hip oil which has retinol, which both repairs and brightens skin. I'd use vitamin C but it always has a really bad reaction with my skin, causing burning and breakouts so uhhhh yea. Anyways rant over gn <3

You spot him before he spots you, sitting at a bench, one knee bouncing up and down, his hair a mess from the countless times he ran his fingers through them, and the constant sighs that escaped his lips. You could see just how nervous he was but so were you, the butterflies in your stomach fluttering like crazy.

"Tsum?" You call out the closer you get to him. "Angel?" He immediately stands up and closes the gap between the two of you. "Are ya crying? Oh god. Am being turned down, huh? Ya chose Suna. I knew ya would, but it still hurts. I wasn't expecting it to hurt this much. But am really happy--" You pull him towards you, planting a kiss on his lips, eager to shut him up with his assumptions. "I choose you dummy." He was definitely dumbfounded. You chose him? He was so sure that you'd choose Suna that it was taking him a few seconds to process what you told him and the kiss that had occurred.

"Is this a dream? Am I dreaming? Did I hear right? Are ya a hallucination? That's it, right? I got hit so hard in the head with a volleyball during the last set of the game that I ended up dying in some freak accident and am in heaven now. Right? That's the only possible explanation." You can see the look on his face, he was in utter disbelief, his mind not able to believe that you chose him. You couldn't help but chuckle at his reaction, it was stupidly cute. Seeing his reaction, you can feel that this was the right decision.

"MIYA ATSUMU!" Hearing his full name being yelled brings him back to reality. "It's not a dream and you're not dead. This is real, I chose you Tsum. You're who I want to be with. I can't deny this bond anymore. Tsum, we were destined to be together and as much as I tried to fight that, I couldn't. It's you, it's always been you. I might have taken some detours and hit some bumps along the way, but I made it, I made my way to you."

His face brightens, if he smiled any harder you're sure he'd hurt himself somehow. He lifts you up and spins you around, happiness evident in the way he looks at you. You can't help the giggles that escape your lips. The feeling in your chest and tummy further solidifying that this was the right choice, that you were meant to be with him. He gently places you back down. "Am so happy. Ya won't regret this angel! Am gonna make ya the happiest girl in the world. Whatever ya want, I'll give it to ya. Just say the word."

Your heart feels so full, a few moments ago you had felt it breaking, but seeing Atsumu and how happy he is, it managed to repair itself, not fully, but you're sure with time that it'll be good as new. "Tsum. I'm happy to just be with you. So don't overdo it, okay?" He pretends to pout but it doesn't last long because he's just so happy. "Ya think ya can give me another kiss?" You let out a laugh, but happily oblige. "We need to tell everyone!" Seeing him so happy for the first time in weeks makes you feel happier, his excitement was contagious. "Okay. Let's do that."

YES i’m of the firm belief (okay not firm but still) that spencer got the haircut to sorta change up his look and get out of his funk when he was sad! to everyone else, tis a breakdown.

i’m glad you found it funny!! i find myself always writing jokes into fics and i usually take at least 90% out because it’s just me messing around, but i left a good amount in with this and i was nervous it just was gonna come off as dumb rather than comedic. but the play was a comedy so :-) maybe it fits

he HAS def only done paint by numbers but i also love the idea of him being good at art if he tried. we might get a moment of that but i haven’t planned it! cant wait to share the next chapter with you 🥰 i think it’s a good one lol!
