- how do you think the Christmas celebrations happen for everyone post-canon?

- what do you think were the favourite Gallagher Christmas traditions for the kids?

- do you think Ian and Mickey enjoy anything about the winter or are they wishing for spring?

- what hot drinks do Ian and Mickey enjoy?

Calli!!! Oh boy do I have some Christmas headcanons for our boys!

Post canon, the Gallaghers (And select Milkoviches depending) celebrate Christmas at one of the two: Lip's house, or, when Ian and Mickey have it, their house. The older siblings spoil the kiddos with gifts, and the adults usually give each other a gift now that they can afford it. Mickey and Ian usually do one practical gift they can open in front of the kiddos, and then a sexy gift at home with just the two of them.

As kids, the Gallaghers didn't have too many traditions. Usually, they would watch some of the Christmas shows that appear on television here in the US. (Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Charlie Brown Christmas, are the ones that used to be on every non-cable channel in america.) In true Gallagher fashion, Kev and V would come over and they'd make popcorn and watch.

As young kids, Fiona tried really hard to not make Christmas suck. That means the kids usually got one practical gift (clothes, usually) and one "fun" gift. Or, they do a secret santa thing.

The Gallaghers do decorate, using whatever they have and find in the attic. Many of their ornaments are the homemade ones made in schools by the kids.

When Fiona, Lip, and Ian were younger, there were some Christmases where Frank went all in on the Catholic thing. He became holier than thou and signed the kids up for the nativity play and during some of his Catholic phases Fiona got First Communion, but Lip & Ian were signed up but never went. During Franks bouts of Catholicism, they all went to church pretty regularly until Frank stopped.

Ian enjoys any reason to cozy up next to his husband and do husband things. Not necessarily just sexr, but wrapping up in blankets drinking Fiona's famous hot cocoa together. Mickey enjoys the movie Home Alone at Christmas because look, the kids a badass and the taps were cool. (It was also filmed in Chicago!)

Mickey isn't as a fan of the cold, but he does enjoy fucking in front the fireplace, and he does enjoy watching movies with Ian, not that he'll admit to it.

Ian loves Fiona's famous hot cocoa, and Mickey thinks its okay. Mickey likes his warm drinks with booze, so he always pregames slightly before going to Lip's.

Last night I cried, and I mean UGLY cried at a foul hour because I love Albert Wesker and I hate it. (/Lh)

Like first off, the man's name is Albert??? Need I say more? But then, his name is kinda gothic when you say his full name. I don't know if that's just me. But just simply referring to him as Albert is goofy as fuck considering he's supposed to be a villain in RE. Not only that, he's got paper thin lips. How's he gonna get a kiss kiss??☝️🤨/ref

But it wasn't only that, mind you, it's also because this absolute FUCK, this evil David Bowie and Johnny bravo looking mother fucker, has consumed my life and every waking thought that sometimes it genuinely hurts and that's what I hate about being autistic. It's just how much I want to consume of something once it becomes a special interest and/or hyperfixation. On top of that, Wesker is a special case for me because I found out I technically trauma bonded to him as a comfort character. For the past year and a half now, I got back into RE because of the RE4R and began hyperfixating on said game then it spiraled into hyperfixating about the Wesker's storyline, with project W and so on. I already have a tendency to go back to RE periodically every like two or so years but this has low-key been probably the longest I've consistently fixated on RE without a single break in-between. My dad and I bonded over resident evil, he's one of the people who got me into RE, albeit he watched the movies and I got into the game's. Which means RE means a whole lot to me and since he passed my fixation on it only heightened as a source of comfort. I also found out when you have a comfort character during a horrible period in your life, you very well can trauma bond with said character. So that means out of all characters, I have trauma bonded to Albert Wesker and I am two seconds away from tweaking. 🤩

On top of that, every time @rainbowroadonsteroids sends me something remotely Wesker related I start punching my wall and they bully me for it smh./Lh+nm

so the most FUCKED thing just happened to me

so my mom ordered some chocolate cake from cracker barrel for me and my brother bc she was craving dessert and wanted us to have some too, right? both cakes came with little capped cups of whipped cream

so i dug in (SUPER GOOD btw) and then i opened up my whipped cream and stuck a finger in to taste it, i noticed a weird red spec of Something in there?? but i figured it was just a bit of red food coloring or something

i violently spat it out upon coming to the horrific realization of

that is not fucking whipped cream. that is fucking TARTAR SAUCE.

so the fucking ubereats guy fucked up so badly he gave us tartar sauce instead of whipped cream

update: i could still taste the tartar sauce for hours even after tasting it
