    Honestly, from what he knew about most girls, Kensuke merely made an educated guess based on how frequently he would see their doe eyes lighting up when stumbling across a cute plushie; still, he had no actual way of knowing whether or not Ryu was also the type to crave soft, fluffy things, so should she deny it, then he would have little issue, believing her. As it turns out, however, she seemed to not mind going along with his jests, so with that same lopsided grin, he'll soon playfully shrug.

    "Oh, now, that would entirely depend on how skilled we both are, wouldn't it?" Kensuke reasons while gradually settling into a casual pace beside her; only, he didn't exactly have a clear destination in mind and was merely following her lead the whole entire time. "And I don't see why not! After all, it's not everyday I'm granted the chance to take a cute girl out on a date; besides, trying out something new every once in a while might end up broadening my horizons."

    Granted, he's aware Ryu probably didn't view their little outing together that way, yet at the same time, Kensuke couldn't resist being just a tad bit cheeky around her due to how absolutely insufferable he was. Even so, he resisted the urge to teasingly add he would like to do her if she was accepting any alternative activities, for he realizes that may come across as sexual harassment and Ryu might be put off by flirtatiously perverse remarks... meaning ultimately, he would keep that part to himself while letting out a thoughtful hum.

    "Fine, I suppose! As far as 'anything exciting' goes, though, I wouldn't say much really comes to mind? In fact, I've just been practising my piano, working on assignments, and taking exams like any normal music student, all while somehow maintaining a pretty average GPA," Kensuke then modestly informs her, before nudging her own shoulder back with a mischievous grin lacing his lips. "But enough about boring old me! To tell you the truth, I'm more curious on how you're doing, Ryu-senpai, so if you don't mind me asking... what sort of things have you been up to lately?"

Easy laughter follows his words, bright eyes tracking the way he teases obliviousness, her own hands resting against her hips.  After spending some time with Kensuke, she grew familiar with the way he liked to poke fun. But with his relinquishment, her smile grows into a toothy beam, feigning a wound to her chest with a playful clutch of her blouse. “   Oogh, you got me. Totally expecting to bring some loot home, ‘kay?  ” A particular destination wasn’t in mind, but she knew there’d been a few around; a couple bar arcades, and some arcades around the eateries in the area. Was that too childish of a choice? “   It could be fun, play a few games and grab some snacks – unless, you’d rather do something else, mm?  ”

With a nod of her head she urges him to follow her along; regardless – they could always explore and find something more mutually acceptable. She didn’t mind a little adventure, she simply wanted some enjoyable company. Bumping into his shoulder, she playfully nudges his side, head tilted towards him. “   So how’ve you been? Anything exciting happening with you?   ”
