Overall, things have gone about as well as she could've hoped and far better than she'd feared. Neither had made any attempt to maim or kill each other the entire walk— though, if you were to ask her in complete confidence, there had only ever been one party to truly worry about; however, one could never hope to get such a confession out of her, even if she were blackout drunk or mindless with blood loss.

Whatever problematic behavior she might address in private with her partner, she would never discuss with anyone else. The loyalty between them could never be threatened by something as petty as gossip. So, instead, Nicolette turns towards the golden boy by her side and offers a knowing smile. ❝ Nonsense! I think it's going well, don't you? ❞

Surely even the timid flower can see that it no longer cowers under the moon, nor does the dark attempt to smother the warm light without remorse.

❝ He's just feeling a bit SHY, you know? ❞ And her smile grows with this, a harmless tease that Zenitsu will surely find unbelievable, and Kaigaku will roll his eyes at, if he's listening in like she suspects he is. She'll give him a bit of time to have a tantrum before seeking him out. ❝ He's doing very well— I'm proud of him, and you, too. You're taking this a lot better than you did at first... ❞ Now, that smile softens with sympathy.

     kaigaku glowers from where he trails behind nicolette and zenitsu down a crowded street, arms crossed and jaw stubbornly clenched. for once, he would have gladly remained in that damn box he's confined to during the day, but-- well, he'd been literally dumped out of it, and it hurt his pride enough to go tumbling out in front of that yellow-haired punk. he wasn't about to crawl back inside.

     so instead, kaigaku attempts to glare a hole into the back of zenitsu's head.

     the blonde, while certainly on edge around the older boy, does an incredible job ignoring the figurative daggers behind him. it's weird. kaigaku doesn't scare him so much anymore, even if he'd still rather avoid his temper than tempt it. maybe it's the fact his sound isn't so dissonant anymore, or maybe zenitsu is braver now... he snorts to himself.

     it definitely isn't that. it's more likely the comfort of having nicolette beside him.

     " i'm going to scout ahead. there's too many people here. " kaigaku at least warns them before he's disappearing onto a roof ( is he going to sulk? obviously ). zenitsu can scarcely hear his steps over the chatter of mothers ushering their children home and vendors coaxing couples to spend their money when he looks up at nicolette and frowns.

     " this was a bad idea, nee-chan. "

✶ 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑 / 𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐎 𝐄𝐑𝐀

━━ 01. Due to his sympathetic nature and friendly behavior, Tanjiro is really fairly well-liked among the Demon Slayer Corps. As a result, he occasionally received love letters thru the crows or in person. He would always reject them, but of course in a nice way.

━━ 02. After a mission, he would visit Senjuro and they would always talk for hours. As a result of his frequent visits, Shinjuro grows fond of him and treats him better than at their initial encounter. After Tanjiro leaves their home, Shinjuro would tear up a little because Tanjiro reminds him of Kyojuro.

━━ 03. Mitsuri invited Tanjiro for lunch but didn't know that she also invited Iguro. During their lunch, Iguro was throwing glare daggers at Tanjiro and he couldn't concentrate on eating at all. When Mitsuri offered him a bite, Iguro's glare became sharper, indicating that he should reject it. So, he did and Mitsuri was a bit sad, but nothing too serious.

━━ 04. He and Kanao had various tea dates each time he visits the Butterfly Mansion or subsequent to getting harmed in a mission that he needs his wounds to recuperate, so the trio is constantly sent off the manor after a mission. He is overjoyed to talk about his experiences and stories about his mission. He also told Kanao stories about his siblings and parents and what he did when he still wasn't a demon slayer. His stories always make Kanao happy.

━━ 05. Kie taught him the fundamentals of cooking before he became a demon slayer, and in just a few months, he was able to prepare a variety of meals. He would therefore volunteer to cook each time he visits the Butterfly Mansion. While he was cooking, the triplets would awe as he worked. Inosuke would make comments like "I can do better," etc., but he really enjoys it, and Zenitsu likes the food he made and gives him praise for it. Kanao quietly enjoys it, and Aoi is just surprised that he can cook pretty well.

✶ 𝐀𝐒 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑

━━ 01. Tanjiro is very loving and devoted to you as his partner. He would always come to see you after a mission and tell you about it. He often strokes the top of your head and gives you cheek kisses, making you feel flustered.

━━ 02. He gifted you a haori, somehow with the same similar design as him and you love it. Every time that he has free time, the two of you would walk in the bustling and radiant streets of Tokyo and eat in a restaurant while watching the fireworks.

━━ 03. He loves when his hands are intertwined with your hand. He enjoys the warm sensation of your hands linked together, so whenever you're on a date with him, he always holds your hand, even if you're simply staying at home.

━━ 04. Tanjiro introduced you to Inosuke and Zenitsu. Inosuke's reaction was of course to challenge you in a fight which made you uncomfortable, while Zenitsu was praising your beauty and instead of Tanjiro being jealous, he agreed with Zenitsu.

"She's really pretty!"

"I know right!"

━━ 05. He also enjoys discussing your future with him. Whether or not you want children-if you don't want them, he's fine with that-as well as the house where you and him will live and any other things you might love. In addition, he enjoys deep conversations with you. He told you how his siblings and parents would have loved you if they had met you. He cries sometimes, but you are always there to console him.

✶ 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑 / 𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐍 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐃

━━ 01. As a student, Tanjiro is very close with his professors and other staff from his school well obviously because of his cheerful nature. He always participates during recitation and helps his classmates if they're struggling with something.

━━ 02. He can't play video games that well, so every time he's playing with Inosuke and Zenitsu, Zenitsu ends up winning because all Inosuke does is smash the controller, while Tanjiro doesn't really understand the mechanics that much. Nevertheless, he had a good time playing with them.

━━ 03. He loves to read mangas and novels. His favorite genre is romance and slice of life. One of his favorite anime is Kimi no Todoke and he loves it quite much that he rewatched it at least ten times. He would always ask Zenitsu for recommendations because that guy is a hopeless romantic and an expert when it comes to romance mangas.

━━ 04. He works as a barista in a nearby café to earn money and avoid having to ask his parents for money. Since the café sells a variety of pastries, he would always ask his manager if he could bring the leftovers home, which his manager would always say yes to because Tanjiro is so kind and they can't say no due to how hardworking he is. As a result, he would give his siblings croissants, a slice of cake, or some other treat at the end of the day.

━━ 05. Tanjiro previously didn't have any social media accounts since he doesn't use electronics significantly but Zenitsu insisted that he do so, so he did. His username is probably his name with jammed numbers. His profile picture is a photo with his family, while his bio is something like "I love my family and friends 😊😊🥰🥰😘😘😘". Zenitsu told him how his profile is cringe with all the emojis and the boring username.

authors note : i wanted to write an au ff butttt i kinda got lazy to write the whole story so i just wanted to write some parts. lmk if u want a kiri backstory! all characters are aged up two years.

the white-haired girl pushed herself back onto the ground once more, wiping her blood-stained mouth with her white haori. her fingers gripped the end of her chipped nichirin sword which was white with an opalescent hue.

in front of her stood a burgundy haired boy, his shoes sunk into the ground as he defended himself with his own sword against the scythe of the upper moon demon in front of him.

"now kiri!" shouted the boy.

"seventh form, glowing eyes," her grey orbs turned orange, eyes boring into the upper moon demon who had frozen in his spot from her ability.

letting out a painful scream, with all his strength, tanjiro swung his blade into the demon's neck, ignoring the pain that was shooting through his body like every inch of his body was burning.

kiri tried her best to keep her eyes on the upper moon demon as she needed not to blink while using this ability on the enemy but she couldn't help but faltered her gaze to the boy, noticing that the scar on his forehead grew and his eyes rolled to the back of his head.

simultaneously, the heads of the demon siblings rolled onto the ground with a thud, rolling until they met one another. the group had successfully decapitated the upper moon demons.

tanjiro fell onto his feet, his hands on his jaw as he tried to catch the blood that dripped from his jaw from the poison. his chest rose up and down at an uneven manner, alarmed kiri was about to run up to him until she heard zenitsu's voice,

"k-kiri! help!"

she turned her head, eyes met with the view of zenitsu with his arms around inosuke and yuta. her eyes widened at the sight of her two friends, more so yuta. her heart dropped at the sight of him.

with all the strength she had left she picked up her speed and ran towards zenitsu's direction, her arm wrapped around yuta's shoulder as zenitsu passed him to her and brought inosuke to tanjiro.

only now processing the tremendous pain her body held, kiri's feet trembled, falling to the ground, her arm still wrapped around yuta who lay on her lap. she felt like every part of her body was screaming, aching, like a hundred knives were piercing into her skin and her head was bursting in pain.

yuta's dark hair was disheveled, sticking to the sides of his neck and cheeks from the sweat and blood and he looked paler than ever, making the dark rings under his eyes even more prominent.

"your stomach...." kiri breathed heavily, moving yuta's hands from his stomach which revealed a deep cut from daki's sash.

"it's okay," yuta swallowed the lump of blood in his throat, wiping his mouth with his uniform which was now stained a dark red. it was obvious that the poison had been quickly making its way to yuta's body, gnawing at every part of his insides.

yuta couldn't attempt to speak as he started a fit of cough, the bitter metallic taste of blood on his tongue made it uncomfortable for him.

"shh, it's okay. it's okay. you don't have to say anything just stay with me alright? i'm sure help is on the way," whispered kiri, her shaking fingers gently rubbing onto his hair in an attempt to calm him. grabbing a kunai from her thigh belt, she sliced a long fabric from her haori, and lifted yuta's body ever so slightly to tie it around his waist, covering his wound in an attempt to slow down the bleeding.

she turned her head, looking in the direction where tanjiro and the rest were. thankfully with the help of nezuko, tanjiro, tengen, and inosuke seemed to be able to speak again and showed no signs of life-threatening wounds or any effects of the poison left.

"tanjiro! h-help!" kiri called out to the boy, her voice a desperation of plea. the group immediately turned their attention to kiri and the boy who was bleeding out, rushing over to them.

"yuta...!" tanjiro drew in a breath as his burgundy eyes rounded upon seeing yuta's deep wound in his stomach.

nezuko let out a murmur, crawling to the teenage boy, her delicate and long fingers grazed upon his body as a burst of flames appeared, surprising kiri.

"don't worry, it's a blood demon art. it seems like nezuko can remove the poison from the bodies with her technique," tanjiro explained as inosuke grunted in agreement. however, it seemed like nothing had changed.

yuta's breath grew shorter as he continued a coughing fit. kiri's jaw quivered, and a bubbling sensation in her stomach grew.

"nezuko, please save him. please!" kiri begged, her hands remained on yuta's face as she wiped the blood from his cold lips with her haori.

nezuko attempted once again, everyone's eyes were glued onto her, hoping that a miracle would happen.

"why isn't it working?" asked zenitsu with an alarmed tone.

"it's too late," yuta managed to cough out, shaking his head, his brows furrowing together as he winced.

"no, it's not. don't say that," tanjiro disagreed, kneeling down beside the boy, his rough hands held onto yuta's arm in an attempt to comfort him.

"come on yuta, keep your eyes open. you'll be okay, trust me. you'll be okay," kiri whimpered, a lump forming in her throat as she struggled to speak, she couldn't tell if it was the poison she was trying to suppress or the tears.

"we've come so far yuta. remember when we were still kids in the orphanage? how you would tickle me until i screamed like crazy. how gyomei-san would carry us on his shoulders and spin us around until we felt like throwing up. how you would always cry when i got sick. how you would stick food up your nose to make me laugh," a deep emotion stirred within kiri's chest as a solemn tear fell down her cheek, "remember when you had that nightmare are you pleaded for me and gyomei-san to sleep with you. or that time when we fell asleep at the garden with our wooden swords, so tired from sparring? remember when we promised each other that we would be hashira's alongside gyomei-san?"

at this point it was difficult for kiri to have a clear vision of the boy as her eyes were welling up with tears, threathening to spill.

"of course i remember. how could i not?" yuta's voice came across as a whisper, his lips turning upwards forming a small and gentle smile, "kiri, please look at me. i want to see you one last time,"

kiri's grey eyes gazed upon yuta's dark blue ones, a mixture of pain and fondness welled up in his eyes, trickling down his cheeks. his frail hands reached to cup kiri's cheek as she leaned against his touch.

"you always look at me with those kind eyes. all those months and years we've trained to become demon slayers and look at us. we're demon slayers now," kiri tried to enunciate her words as best as she could, her jaw trembling from the grief and pain she was trying to keep from spilling out.

"i wish i could've spent longer in this lifetime to love you. thank you kiri," yuta spoke with all of his strength left, his voice sincere until the end.

kiri leaned her forehead against yuta's, "i love you yuta, please don't leave me,"

his hands fell against his side, and his eyelids closed.

kiri's chest grew heated and she felt like a rope was tied against her neck, her head throbbing from the pain.

"please don't leave me. yuta... wake up. please," her throat felt swollen as she tried to stutter the words out from her shaken lips.

her tears spilled over and cascaded down her cheeks like a dam that broke. each tear carrying the weight of a hundred emotions that refused to be contained from her resolve. she mumbled incoherent things as she choked through her tears.

a gut-wrenching sob tore through her chest and her breath became staggered, lifting her head from yuta's, she covered her face with her blood-stained hands as she continued sobbing.

tanjiro, zenitsu, insouke and nezuko could only watch tearfully, feeling the grief that kiri felt right into their own hearts as her heart-breaking sobs reverberated to the night.

Ninja Kamui EP#01 - After being ambushed and attacked by a group of masked assailants, Joe Higan is questioned by FBI agents Mike and Emma for an investigation into the murder of his family.

Lycoris Recoil EP#04 - Nothing seek, nothing find: After unsuccessfully trying out Chisato's rubber bullets, Takina decides to aim at non-vital organs with regular bullets at Chisato's suggestion. Chisato decides to take her shopping for clothes, and visit a restaurant and aquarium, as she wishes for Takina to get used to her life outside work. When asked by Takina, Chisato explains she voluntarily refrains from killing, and left the DA in order to search for somebody who helped her ten years prior. After enjoying her time with Chisato, Takina begins embracing her life outside the DA. Meanwhile, Mika and Yoshimatsu meet again, and Mika wonders why Yoshimatsu has never admitted he is the one who inducted Chisato into the Alan Institute, but Yoshimatsu says it is against their policy. As Takina and Chisato return to LycoReco, a terrorist named Majima opens fire on a subway train, only to be ambushed by a Lycoris team inside, who guns his men down. Cornered, Majima detonates explosives to cover his escape. Robota contacts him, offering his help in combating the Lycoris, but Majima refuses. After the government covers up his attack as a train derailment, a frustrated Majima resolves to hit an even bigger target which will be impossible for the government to cover up.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Entertainment District Arc EP#12 (38) - Things Are Gonna Get Real Flashy!!: Tengen finds Hinatsuru on the outskirts of the district, having poisoned herself to escape but remaining unable to contact him. Battling Daki by himself, Tanjiro tries to use his Hinokami Kagura but realizes the fatigue on his body is preventing him from fighting effectively. Elsewhere, Inosuke discovers an incredibly narrow passageway under his House, leading to a cavern that appears to serve as a holding cell, full of obi that Daki has used to absorb her victims. This obi turns out to be an entity that can function independently from Daki's body; Inosuke first attempts to slay it but decides to prioritize freeing the people trapped inside. Overwhelmed, he nevertheless manages to free Suma and Makio two of Tengen's wives as well as Zenitsu, all of whom assist him in his fight, before being joined by Tengen himself.

Raiting Demon slayer: Kimetsu no yaiba

Season 01: the first episode was insane! I mean by insane: aggressive, emotional and especially the animation and the characters designs. As it was the beginning of the story, nothing was too interesting like... the death of Tanjiro's family and the Transformation of Nezuko into a demon was the main idea of the anime in that time. And the main reason to encourage Tanjiro to become a demon slayer. In addition to the battle of the demon slayers and Rui (5th lower moon) was nuts!! Love it too much. I personally don't know why some people hate Rui. He is too powerful, although he belongs to the lower moons. And I was sad for his past. Also we already met Shinobu and Giyu, Zenitsu and Inoske, Tamayo and Yoshiro.

He’s more smoke than fire when he initially surfaces but he’s annoyed enough that the saltwater steams off rapidly, trudging back to where he left a few things- his pauldron, mostly, his phone resting inside of it. After it’d been crunched in half during the island catastrophe, he’d gotten in the habit of leaving his cuirass behind, and while he’s lighter without it, he feels more exposed.

Mostly, though, he’s miffed, shooting another look back towards the whirlpools faintly visible at this angle. Swimming isn’t exactly a skill he commands, but the idea of paying to get stuck in transport just for the sake of finding out what was down there- it couldn’t be that hard. He’d gotten just about everywhere back ‘home’, hadn’t he? Spirale couldn’t be more of a challenge.

And, yet, here he was, partially covered in seaweed, having a one-sided glare-down with the ocean. The flames of his ‘head’ flick and curl, slowly drying his clothes, but he’s not making any progress.

Emphatically, he extends a middle finger seaward, and crouches to pick up his one remaining piece of armor before he realizes someone witnessed most of that.

Oh.

Infernal was certainly an...interesting language.  Bizarre, yet beautiful in its own way, some vocalizations hardly even sounding like words.  A song sung in it could have made for quite the mysterious, enchanting melody...were it not for the discordant, somewhat cracking voice it had been sung in.  Jester sang in earnest, though, and once she was done she looked to the stranger, a wide grin on her face.

“Well?  What did you think?”

Where...the hell was she? Looking around from a much shorter perspective, Riku looked up and saw that she was near the Koi Pond....Cotes Ward? Ruffling her hair, a flash of yellow tinted orange caught her eye as she brought her arm forward. It was enshrouded in a very familiar haori. Looking down even more she was in a uniform too, with sandals and yellow-orange leg warmers.

Wait a minute-

Moving with a slightly more invigorated rate, she looked into the pond and stared at the reflection, an "Are you kidding" expression on her face.

"I switched with Zenitsu? Well I guess I can't complain that much, at least I have his...my phone number. Hopefully he isn't panicking about this." Patting her clothing, she looked through to find Zenitsu's phone...only to realize she doesn't know his password. Great. Brown eyes narrowed as she moved away from the pond and turned to walk off. Unless muscle memory took over, she was just going to have to look by hand.

“I made a bunch of prank snacks! The candy bowls have skittles and m&ms mixed together, and about half of the caramel apples are really onions. Wanna help me pass them out?”

She looks down at the tray, then back up at him, frowning.

“Uh, I may have forgotten which ones were the onions.”
