she's an only child.

she also has two cats named bebe and meow.

her and her parents moved from the states to japan when she was around five and has lived there for most of her life up until she became a trainee in 2012 and began living in korea. as of 2024, her parents are now back in the states.

was originally an smrookie trainee at sm entertainment, y/n was one of the first ones to be announced and quickly became one of their most popular trainees.

she was a cast member on the mickey mouse clubhouse along with other smrookies. she would eventually leave sm entertainment in 2016 after them continuously breaking promises on debuting.

she was very admired by some of her classmates and would often get letters and small gifts.

she is friends with several sm artists as she trained with a lot of them. those included are: red velvet's joy and yeri, nct dream, nct's yuta, and more recently aespa.

her first concert was hikaru utada and y/n often cites her as one of her main inspos for wanting to pursue a music career.

has a total of six tattoos which is currently the most out of any member.

she's a big fan of older survival horror games like siren, fatal frame, haunting grounds, clock tower, rule of rose.

some other games y/n is a fan of is no more hero, kingdom hearts, resident evil, and animal crossing.

the concept y/n wants ateez to try the most is either a barbie concept or a horror concept.

in 2023, it was announced that y/n and san were dating and had been in a relationship since 2020.
