𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞? something medium sized and rustic , and then they go on a really nice honeymoon 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚��𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩? just about every hunter sam's close with until they get to know her 𝐃𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬? i can see them having a few for sure 𝐃𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐬? they'd probably have a cat and maybe a dog too ?

he  comes  to a stop   just   a   step   ahead   of   her   ,   the   scent   of   salt   air   and   her   shampoo   making   the   surfer   weaker   in   the   knees   than   he'd   care   to   admit .   an   apprehensive   hand   runs   the   span   of   his   face   as   jj   takes   a   deep   breath   ,   finally   glancing   over   his   shoulder.   there   it   is   ;   there's   the   concern   ,   the   sincerity   he's   been   avoiding   since   their   return.   it   takes   everything   not   to   wince   ,   not   to   call   their   little   chat   off   completely.   but   kiara   has   waited   long   enough.   so   with   one   more   respiration   and   his   tongue   between   his   teeth   ,   he   turns   to   face   her head on.

Kiara half expected JJ to ignore her, or to tell her no, or to run. Yeah, running probably made the most sense. Because feelings were scary no matter who you were, but for JJ Maybank, they were even scarier. Kie knew that, she understood that, she respected that. What she didn't know was how exactly to convey to him that he was safe with her, that he didn't need to be afraid because there was nothing to be afraid of. They were still JJ and Kie, still the same best friends as before. They just... cared more. Maybe. Or they cared differently.

But when JJ agreed, Kiara pressed her lips into a straight line and nodded her head at Pope before leading them off towards the water, but not into it. Just standing on the sand a few feet off. And at first, even at his question, Kiara was quiet. She didn't exactly have a plan, she was a little drunk, so maybe this was a bad idea. "Are we... okay?" she asked finally, still looking out on the water, scared that if she made eye contact with JJ he might see just how desperate she felt to have this conversation.
