1. 3 ships: idk if this question is asking for my top 3 but I suck at choosing things anyway, so I'll just go with three from fics I worked on today- Kira/Dax, Garak/Bashir and Ezri/Pel (it's real to me okay!!)

2. first ever ship: quite honestly I never used to ship things until fairly recently. I guess it was B'Elanna/Seven from Voyager? My teenage self instantly picked up on how much they had in common and desperately wanted them to interact more. I still love them <3

3. last song: 'Uzaklarda' by Ediz Hafızoğlu (Turkish jazz is my newest obsession)

4. last movie: recently rewatched '2012' with my dad after YEARS lol, we love watching Roland Emmerich movies together and giggling

Were you named after anyone?

Nope- though I almost was, first after my mom's little sister (who sadly passed away when they were children due to health complications) and then after a yoga teacher who turned my mom's life around- but in the end my parents went with some random name they just thought I "looked like" haha

When was the last time you cried?

*dramatic hair flip* well, I don't wanna brag, but, uh- I did cry myself to sleep last night💅💃🏾🙈 (no hugely tragic reason really lol it's just been a rough month)

Nope

Do you use sarcasm a lot?

I definitely can be sarcastic sometimes, but idk maybe not to the extent where I feel like people who know me would describe me as "sarcastic"? Thinking about it, I guess I usually reserve it for commentary on stupid conflicts and like bigots and stuff, not for everyday interactions with people just being harmlessly sincere

What’s the first thing you notice about people?

Faces I think? Not like any kind of evaluation, I just think that's the first thing I look at. Also I guess, do they look/sound like they're okay, or like they're having a bad day/in a bad mood

Black. If you wanna get really technical, then really, really dark brown, but honestly it just looks black haha

Scary movies or happy endings?

I don't see how they're mutually exclusive! But if I had to answer, I do like horror but it's not my top watched genre, so happy endings I guess? Idkkk I don't really get this question

Special? Hmmm idk... I can do a pretty solid gollum impression, does that count😂 (okay maybe impressions in general, yes unfortunately I was That Kid in class who could do all the teachers and some of my impressions were even Teacher Approved😂😂)

LOLLL okay back when I was a teen and I used to play sports For Fun (as in, I was never part of any teams or anything, just messing around VERY non-competitively with my friends) I dabbled in basketball, badminton, football (as in the kind where you kick a ball with your foot, not whatever y'all got going on in the US), frisbee & volleyball on the beach. But I cannot stress this enough- I sucked at everything across the board and it was all just for fun lmao, literally you cannot put enough quotation marks around "played" when saying I "played" sports😂🙈 Anyway those days are all gone, now I walk my dog ig

Ahh I could never choose!! I love you science I love you social studies I love you literature everything was so interestinggg (I was a terrible student though, failed exams All the time😌)

Dream job?

I actually would love to write novels and instrumentals and stuff... And I guess I could probably see myself working in wildlife conservation too, maybe later on in life

@trillscienceofficer as if the truth about political corruption can only be revealed when personal devotion is expressed--when your friend dons the robes of your people and you look at her bajoran nose and say Out Loud "it's flattering" (like "my body suits your body").

@cordrazine-official like yes! it's this exchange of services between two very different people bc in the end they both frame their purposes to either serve or to protect the dignity of the self and this heady combination leads to the sweetest moments of partnership in the most uncertain of situations. and jadzia dressing as one of the spiritual leaders of kira's culture, of which she is a devout follower even if she is not a blind one, and then standing at kira's shoulder in a perilous moment with that Look on her face---there's something similar to This moment and the moment Jadzia accepts Joran as her Self and the moment she tells Lenara she'll risk the social extradition to be at her side. with kira and dax there just seems to be this unspoken yet immutable bond of equal regard/faith to each other. and they do it on purpose.
