Future Shadows

 Carian Project crossed the Atlantic this past August to participate in an exhibition presented by Object Permanence Project titled, "Future Shadows.” Located at Maryhill Stonehenge out in the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon, U.S.A.

This exhibition included the collaborative works of Carian Project and artist/writer/curator Taryn Tomasello of O.P.P., work by artist/curator and co-director of Portland gallery Williamson-Knight, John Knight and artist/musician Paul Sutfin.

Ruins have become more prevalent in our everyday lives as human desires and destruction continue to rapidly change the course of our planet and our existence. What will remain of our species, what tactile memories will we have left of our world, ourselves? Who determines what is considered a ruin or worth saving, remembering?
