Eli slowly woken up he was always the last to wake up. He turns to notice Clare wasn't there, but he knew she was probably somewhere else in their apartment.

As his phone on the bedside table he reaches to read that his flim was to stand still because of this world wide virus which had Eli had gone out to but extra hand wash and he knew Clare would be worried he understood that.

He stretched, getting out of bed he only had on boxers and walking towards the kitchen where Clare was he noticed she was trying to take out with the pot. "Hey," he softy spoke slowly and walked up behind her, "Clare.." he kisses the back of her shoulders, trying to calm her down.

Clare had woken up to an email she had been dreading. It was supposed to be her birthday in two days, but the world had basically shut down three days ago over the new plague. The restaurant she had booked several weeks ago had sent her an apologetic email to let her know that they wouldn't be able to host her gathering and had refunded her deposit. She knew it had been coming, but was still disappointed.

Clare hadn't immediately cried, instead she left Eli to sleep in their bed and started taking out her emotions on their kitchen. She stood at the sink, brutally scrubbing at a pot that did nothing to her except contain crusty remnants of last night's meals. She hunched over slightly, digging the sponge into grime, her other hand gripping the handle so tight that her knuckles turned white. She huffed dramatically, biting down on her bottom lip. "Come. Off," she growled.

"I love you too, so much." Zig replied as he loved her completely. Clare had taken the time to get to know him in ways that nobody else had. He felt she was the only person who really saw him, and never gave up on him no matter the situation. "Yes, unfortunately I have to. Unless that pretty brain of yours has invented something that is going to make us a lot of money." Zig joked even though it wasn't completely impossible. Clare was the smartest person he knew. "Babies are expensive."

Clare pouted when he mentioned going back to work again, placing her hands on his shoulders to pull him closer. She couldn't help another giggle, her face flushing in embarrassment, at the small kiss. "Love you," she replied, kissing him on the cheek. She hugged herself close to him, complaining, "Do you really have to go back to work?" The answer was definitely yes. They needed him to. But she could live delusional for another day.

"I'd have been offended if that wasn't the case." Zig told his wife with a smile. He liked knowing that she enjoyed his company. "While I am at work you are going to have to find other distractions." He told her with a small wink. He wasn't looking forward to it anymore than she was. "For the record, you are my favorite distraction too." Zig added as he leaned over and gave her a kiss on the tip of her nose.

Clare giggled at the sound of him calling himself a distraction. She gave her head a small shake, reaching out to take his hand in hers. Her thumb gently stroked the back of his hand as she stared up at her husband. "You're my favorite distraction," she reminded softly. Although, she could definitely take some time to read before she went back to work and would only be able to read for work. She hadn't read a book that didn't have large print with short phrases and lots of overstimulating pictures since before she gave birth.

"I am sure you will find plenty of things to do." Zig said as he knew Clare was capable of doing anything she set her mind to. He thought she was bit of a superhero. "You might even have some time to read a book. You know, when I'm not here being a distraction all the time." He teased as he hoped that Clare would be able to take some time to herself. His wife put so much of her time into taking care of the babies. Zig just hoped that Clare remembered that her own needs mattered as well.

Zig was right. And she knew he was right. Her whole life was research and he had appeased her by reading every baby book and article she brought to his attention. Clare's nose scrunched up sheepishly and she blinked a couple times. "Okay. You're right," she huffed dejectedly. She had to get used to not being there every second for Natasha and Aleksander because soon she would be their primary caregiver for a significant portion of most days. All four of them had to get used to some time apart. Clare sighed dramatically, laying back down across their bed. She smiled, focusing her attention on her husband. "Oh man. What am I going to do with all this sudden quiet time?" she joked, giving Zig a big teethy grin.

"They need to get used to us not being with them all the time anyway. I read that is good for babies." Zig replied because he knew that it was impossible for them to be with the babies all of the time. When he returned to work, Clare was going to be outnumbered by them. "As long as they are not screaming or crying they can keep each other company." Zig added with a smirk as he thought he was being funny.

Clare looked back at her husband beside her when he assured her that they could still relax, still stealing a couple more quiet moments with each other. She nodded, her haphazard curls sticking out at unusual angles. "Okay," she agreed, her mouth eased into a soft smile. She leaned down and gave Zig a series of small kisses, resting a hand on his shoulder. She was thankful that he could put her small anxieties about parenting to rest so easily.

"I would like to pick some things up if possible." Zig replied as he wanted to make a healthy meal. He enjoyed cooking for his wife and was sure that he'd enjoy cooking for the twins when they were old enough to eat. Zig heard the noise coming through the monitor and knew their quiet morning bliss was soon coming to an end. "I think it's fine to leave them for a few minutes." Zig said as it didn't seem that the babies were upset. "If they needed anything, they would surely be screaming."

Clare scrunched her nose up at the thought of another string of takeout meals. Before the twins came along, they had been so much better about eating a balanced diet. But, even with healthy babies, some days Clare and Zig were in survival mode and had to do whatever was physically and emotionally easiest on them both. "If we don't have to-" she started to complain, but then heard soft noises coming from the baby monitor. She sat up lightning fast, turning to the camera system on Zig's nightstand. She strained to look at the screen, not having enough sense to put her glasses on to see better. "They're not crying," she stated, pursing her lips together thoughtfully. "Should we wait until they cry?" she asked, looking back at her husband.

Eli's lips stay on hers as he was felt his body heating up his hands roams around her back moving lower he couldn't take his hands off her and at this rate he hoped he has enough condoms they were smart.

Eli breathes heavily he could get lost as his grin grew, "I-I can wait this way more fun" his voice became huskily as his finger's traces down her skin giving him shivers and feelings good he loved this woman.
