This is sad. Then you wonder why so many actors, are booking a lot of jobs nonstop, because most of the jobs don’t pay enough money, until you are a household name.
LA and NY are super expensive cities.
Then you see film tweeter complaining about comic book movies, those movies usually give actors a way better paycheck than indie projects

Gosh... that's crazy. And sad. 😔 I keep saying that these actors out here in Hollywood are not making as much money as you think they are... especially when you factor in the cost of living in Southern California, the amount of money they have to pay their teams and people who work for them, and of course, the amount of money that Uncle Sam takes away 🥴
So yea, it's not a whole lot when you think about it. Plus, unless they have side gigs, actors only make money when they're booked. It's almost like being a contractor. 🤷🏾♀️
I don't have any issues at all with actors doing comicbook films. My only concern is that I hope that those types of films don't become the ONLY types of films that are made out here only because they usually make so much money. 🥴
We need to keep the variety in films. And I'm sorry, but a bunch of comic book films and reboots and sequels should not be the only films keeping Hollywood afloat. 😩

I wasn’t aware of this: https://twitter.com/jasimisinclair/status/1674940871303651328?s=46&t=l9eNgJK4Gth6GnJ-geML8Q (crossing my fingers that you haven’t reached your 600 limit today !) but in your honest opinion, do you think with *waves around* everything going backwards, Z might start having an even harder time being offered roles that she deems worthy?
I can't see the link (thanksElon) but I can see the twitter page on my phone. Is this about all the diversity leaders either being let go or moving on this week, with at least four Black women out of jobs?
I do think with Z the bottom line will be money. If she's considered bankable she will be offered roles, one way or another, they just may not be the ones she wants. White men will get do over after do over even if their films tank but we all know she won't get that chance.
